Worse place ever to eat and to be serviced. The least some waitress should do is welcome you in and greet you with their name and give you some time to look at the menu. At this place neither of the minimum was offered; 4 different weird waitresses kept bugging us with "are u ready to order?" The orange juice didnt look or taste like orange juice and when I told one of the many waitress that she said "ok" nothing like "let me get you something else" or "would you like to try this instead?" It took them 3 reminders to get my friend a cup for her coffee which was ridiculously ridiculous. Now, moving on the vegetarian omelette tasted very bad even though it was well done the oil or the eggs themselves something didnt taste right, the omelette was very plain nothing on the side - potatoes for instance. Yet the chocolate chip pancake was small and tasteless we had to sink it in syrup for some sweet taste. After we hurried to finish up and leave, the lady who is suppose to ask (when u bring the receipt to the front podium to pay) how was everything? Of course she didnt , she didnt even say Hello!!! and when i asked her for a copy of my receipt she slammed the pen on the desk and looked upset she had to press extra buttons on her screen! Oh really?! Then why are you standing there with no greetings yet irritated with ignorance? it seems like everyone working at this place lacks the least skills of "customer services" save up $20 and go somewhere else.

Brought the family to eat here this morning. Seriously a treat. It was cozy and they had it nicely decorated for Halloween. The owner greeted us as we were coming in and he was super nice with the kids even though they were both acting shy. He sat us right by the decorated tree with the train and miniature village and the girls loved it. I got the western omelette, and it was a good portion with the pancakes on the side. I loved those pancakes and the veggies in the omelette tasted very fresh. Same with my husbands Santa Fe omelette. The coffee, I think I had like three cups and it was GOOD - that also, you could tell it was a fresh pot they had made. The server and the girl that started our drink order, they were fabulous and very attentive. I cant recall the last time as a family being out for breakfast and having our cream and coffee pot consistently replaced without asking..really surprising. Oh, AND getting enough butter and syrup for everyone without having to ask. We came here with a Groupon but I would absolutely come back again without one. Really a nice place with a quaint feel to it. Oh, and the server gave our girls each a quarter to get a prize out or the toy machine, that was totally unexpected and super sweet. A+ for service and A+ for food.

We had a long wait (but were prepared for that). First was pointed to my seat, rather than a host taking me to it (again possibly because they were busy but saw almost everyone else being seated). Our server never came to ask if we liked our food, and just placed our check on our table, even though I had planned on getting more food. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, but the gravy tasted like it came from a can and the busciuts like they had been frozen (one was even cold in spots). Finally the eggs were as boring as possible, completely flat with almost no yolk. My girlfriend got eggs and sausage and a side of pancakes. Eggs were the same and the sausage was gritty. Pancakes were the only redeeming feature but still just mediocre. When trying to leave, we again had to wait at the register to pay for 7-10 minutes for someone to come up and take our money. I can understand service like this at a place that is rarely busy, but is apparently busy just like today every weekend. There are better brunch places within blocks so I would highly recommend looking into those places first.

It is a chain, but the franchise owners only own this OPH location. We go to this location 1 or 2x a month, usually on the weekends. I have only had good to great food with competant and super friendly staff. I like that I can get service from anyone, rather than just waiting for my waitperson. The food is reliable in quality. It is a winner to get the Apple or German pancakes, but I do like the crepes (go apple, it is yummy), blueberry pancakes, the red white blue waffle in the summer with fresh fruit is AWSOME, or the chicken salad. The coffee is the best all-around. I would come for just coffee if they did not offer food! Bit of warning it can be a long wait on a Sunday morning, but I prefer either very early or late Sat when it is slower or very late on Sun. As I am happy they have crowds but I like to linger and visit so I prefer non peak times.

I have been taking my children here for 8 years. This review is not about the food though the prices have changed and feeding 2adults and 2 kids averages 45.00. The food is good the train is fun. I am not sure if this man is the owner but the host makes the experience so harsh. He comes off as nice then if you have an issue or make a comment about the wait he snaps. He is very loud at correcting the staff and when my mother in law said oh wow thats a long wait he replied "well where else are you going to go?" Ummm...lets see...Eggsperience, Panera, Harp and Fiddle, Holtz, Starbucks, Einsteins....is he for real? I asked for our car to be left in the lot for 20 minutes and he was so rude about it. We are going to take a long break and go to Goldies and Einstein. They need a management change. So so Sad.

Absolutely terrible! I would give 0 stars if I was able to. I ordered a skillet with green peppers and tomatoes, specifically because I cannot eat the ham or sausage offered. I received the skillet, and halfway through eating the messy, favorless, tasteless bowl of alleged food, I find there to be pieces of sausage in my skillet. Wait, but thats not all! I informed the 3 waiters that were alternating disfunctionally as the primary server of our table, and they collectively could not communicate effectively to execute a simple refund for me. In the end, after much hassle and time, I did receive a refund for the skillet. All in all, this is a terribly managed, disorganized, ineffective, inefficient, uncoordinated, dysfunctional restaurant.

Crappy place to go !!! I was there eating with my family about 3 months ago. We had great service by are server, Kayla. She was attractive and great but when she came up to the table to ask if everything was alright her manager came running behind her screaming at her for holding a plate wrong and didnt even care that we were sitting there just ignoring the fact that he just yelled at her in front of us. She has later informed us that she was new to the staff and he was still having her in "training mode". Even so, that was no way to talk to anyone! We felt so bad for our server we left her a great tip and thanked her for the great food and great service but will not return because of the management. Not going to give that man my money.
