Neat Kitchen is a very relaxing and delicious dining experience. I have been here about 6 times now and am always thrilled with my meal. Ill admit the service can be a little hit or miss but last night our party of 6 had the best waiter ever. Peter was personable, knowledgeable, attentive but not annoying and had a great smile. The pork wing appetizer is not cheap but was really liked by our table. We had the both the regular and spicier version. Calamari was good but I thought it could have been a bit crispier. The men in my family are fans of the signature burger with the duck egg, the short rib grilled cheese and any taco on the menu. I am glad for the improvement to the Caesar salad which used to be big chunks of romaine, a good dressing but not much else. The lettuce is now chopped and I enjoyed far more croutons, parmesan and a better flavor all around. I love it with the blackened mahi mahi! My 85 year old mother is hard to please, especially after 2 martinis, but she raved about her Cobb Salad and said it was the best she ever had with bits of bacon and the good stuff in every bite of lettuce! Excellent desserts, good wine, never ending selection of brews and a full bar makes Neat Kitchen one of our very favorites! Check it out soon!!

Neat Kitchen & Bar has vastly improved since initially opening. Right at the start the menu felt pretty disjointed with dishes all over the place but over time they have paired everything down to something much more manageable and by doing so the quality of the food was really able to shine,. From fantastic burgers to salads to tacos to rotating specials, they do a pretty fantastic job at everything that comes out of the kitchen. Onto the bar area, they also shine here. From a dedicated bar section to prime choices that should make anyones taste buds happy - they have the variety to shine with a focus on which spirits they believe are the best. Parking can be a pain if they are busy or if there is a fest in downtown Westmont but for the most part that isnt an issue. The restaurant is clean and the waitstaff is always welcoming and helpful, even when you have 2 crazy little kids in tow. Great flavors, variety, and atmosphere make this a stand out spot to dine at.

Good-looking place and nicely quiet for lunch. A guy who appeared to be the owner made eye contact with me when I walked in, but said nothing and walked away to his table with a laptop and a pile of silverware napkin rolls. I had to wander back to the bar to find someone so I could ask for a table and a menu. Bartender/waitress was friendly and helpful. Got the Prime Rib Philly sandwich, but the onions tasted like theyd been fried in beef fat, the meat was greasy, and there were no peppers (bell, spicy, or otherwise). Just a very heavy-feeling sandwich of onions and meat and a little cheese. The fries were good. The beer menu was nicely unusual, but limited and pricey. Also, there was nothing I wanted with a lunch, so water was better. The lunch menu was as pricey as a pricey dinner menu, but the food did not match the gastropub price or atmosphere.

The Hinsdale Central Baseball Club had its parent social at Neat last weekend. They have a beautiful private room that was ideal for this type of event and the food and service was outstanding. Jason and Mike worked with our committee to put together a great food and drink package. Their staff was courteous and efficient; they even provided baseball cards for us to use as drink tickets! I highly recommend for Neat Kitchen + Bar for any group outing or for going to lunch or dinner. Thank you!

Nice place. First and foremost...they use good quality ground beef for their burgers. This may sound like a simple thing, but its rarely done (and no, buying your meat from Whole Foods would not be in the quality ground beef category). Further, the bacon is good, this is something thats even more rare. The bacon there taste every bit as good as a well made homemade bacon, but then its got a really good smoke on it.

Well, i want to like this place but the two times ive been here the customer service was horrible. Ingrid was not attentive, gave me the wrong wine, a wilted salad came after the dinner (i asked for it first), she was not polite or helpful. I got a half chicken and it was missing the wing. I asked to talk to the manager and they were to busy to see me. I will not be back!

If you want some really fabulous Ahi Tuna... Their Ahi tuna Nachos are legit! Real great Tuna and super fresh! Their food is delicious! Tuesday they have $2 tacos and they are bomb! Great beer selection! The interior of this space is very warming and stylish. A definite place one wants to come back to and have a nice cold beer or snack. Highly recommend this place!

The only think I enjoyed about this restaurant was the drinks , they have a nice list of local beers , and do create from time to time some enjoyable drinks . but food was ok at best and staff is lacking in attention at times , making you wait longer periods then I would like for service when needed .

On a recent Saturday night we dined there at 9 PM. Dining room was not full, but our rare burger and grilled cheese took over an hour to get to our table - from order time to set on table. THe food was good, however. Spirits list was extensive & interesting. Beer list was great.

Service was great, good atmosphere, we had 2 different burgers and both were great, burgers are very large and feel like you definitely get your money worth! Other burger was ordered well done and it was more medium well then well done but no other complaints, we will be back.

Went with my family of 4. Two of us had their Neatburger complete with a duck egg on top which my son loved. My wife had a veggie burger which was good and my other son had wings. Wait for the food was a little long but it was a busy Saturday night. I would definitely return

The food was above average. However, the music was way too loud and out of taste. The atmosphere was cold as was the temperature. We ate with our coats on and the servers were dressed shabbily. There is no reason that we would go back or recommend it. Sorry. Herb K.

Excellent little local place. Good for kids as well as a "girls night out". Extensive whiskey selection. The Whiskey Flights (half filled shot glasses) were a bit small but its fun to taste. Overall a very pleasant experience, we will be returning.

Super awesome restaurant and bar. The food is top notch, and their cocktails are excellent. Bartenders and wait-staff are very polite and helpful. Ive called last minute for a group of 12-14 and they were very accommodating. A Westmont gem.
