I recently visited Chama with a friend who lives close to this location for lunch on a Friday afternoon. First things first. The restaurant is located at the front portion of the building more on the butterfield road side... so, when entering... drive around to the front.. there is plenty of parking up there. Okay... going inside... this place is beautiful... they have done a great job with the interior décor which truly does add to the experience of dining here. Upon entry, you will see a HUGE, fully-stocked bar and the staff greet you promptly at the door to help get you situated and seated. Once inside, they will help you hang your jacket on the back of your chair and get settled in and explain the process of how your dining experience will happen. The salad bar is fantastic.... everything... is fresh- so, take small portions of what you KNOW that you will like. Dont get super carried away... because... the best is yet to come in the meats. You will have a small card on your table that you will use to start or stop the servers coming to your tables with skewers of various meats and beef cuts. You will experience everything from Lamb to chicken, beef, beef ribs, filet, rib-eye, sirloin and others. The lamb was done very nicely as well the other beef cuts.. I didnt care for the chicken with the bacon wrapped around it as I found the bacon to be slightly different tasting (personal preference here). On the other hand, the beef ribs... OMG... out of this world.. melt in your mouth delicious!! You do have to pace yourself and enjoy as much as you can, as this is an all- you- can- eat place. Three sides will also be brought to your table during your meal, including mashed potatoes, fried polenta, and deliciously- caramelized whole bananas. They have many desserts that all sounded delicious as choices, but, after consuming so much beautiful meat done all so well, we didnt have room for dessert. I did enjoy a Latte after lunch... which fit the bill properly after the meal and tasted great. The service is top-notch overall, everyone was super nice and attentive to Anything you could want or need. Use this restaurant as a (treat) type place, where you might go on a special occasion. Lunch, is, of course, less expensive than dinner so use that as your guide for those who are budget-minded like myself. You will experience the very same delicious culinary fare either way. I highly recommend Chama De Gaucha and hope you will too.. as something new, special, fresh and a unique cultural experience. Happy Eating!! * * * * * stars!!!

A MUST GO! This place was amazing! My boyfriend and I have been having some rough times lately so I set out looking for a place to surprise him with for a special night. I really needed and wanted this night to be perfect which meant finding the perfect restaurant. I am SO glad and thankful I came across this place. It is a meat eaters dream. It is Beautiful on the inside and the customer service is GREAT. The waitress even took out y chair and placed my napkin and pushed me in. That is just one example of their customer service. They come quite frequently with the different types of meat and the staff is so inviting that if you just cant seem to find the meat that you want or it wont come to you, you can just ask them to bring it. they constantly refill your water and your sides if they go empty. The salad bar is really fresh and tastes great. My boyfriend loved it. The place is pricey but it is a fine dining establishment. I believe it was around 50 per person and then 22 for tip. So if you are looking for a cheap 5 star I wouldnt suggest this place, but if youre looking for nice place to go with your loved one then this place is it. Not to mention that my bf and I had our anniversary so we considered this our anniversary dinner and we got this amazing free cheesecake. We are definitely coming back here. Just make sure to eat the cheese bread last otherwise you will be full before you have even begun to taste the AMAZING food. We were craving to go back the next day.

This was our first dinning experience at a Brazilian steakhouse and it was excellent. Open Table app made it easy for us to reserve our table ahead of time. They walked us over, took our coats and seated us to the perfect corner table. They explained us the process and its pretty simple. Youre given a card red means no meat, green means bring it on! Their salad bar has great variety of greens and starters, but we figured its something to offset the specialty meats. As soon as we sat down from the salad bar, they had my gfs sangria ready and she loved it. And she noted that they have awesome ceviche Now the meats. Their Gauchas constantly walk through the dinning area serving everyone slices of meats. All were perfectly cooked, some were over seasoned but the side salad, mash potatoes, fried banana and polenta were there to balance the flavor. We had ribeye, garlic sirloin, bacon wrapped chicken, lamb shank, prime ribs, and others that we cant recall. We had to take a couple of minutes of break in between servings but we ate til we no longer could not. Our servers kept checking in on us and that was something I did experience in any other restaurants Ive been to. Really polite staff and prompt service. The price of our bill was about what was expected. Though on a really busy night, they still made our experience special. We will definitely be coming back for more. Also they have complimentary valet that brought our car to us in a timely manner.

Top notch food & experience! They serve THE sausage Ive been craving since we got back from São Paulo! I asked and the waiter said they fly a lot of their meats, including the sausage, up from Brazil. Youre not going to find sausage like this in WI or Chicago or wherever. Its the fat ratio (or maybe lack of) and herbs they use that makes it extremely unique! The filet, the chicken, the lamb, the top/bottom sirloin, and yes, the picanha!!! All so good! They have a smoked salmon on the salad bar thats AWESOME, as well as a lot of the salad bar. But as my friends in Brazil say, the salad bar is a trap lol. Its a carnivores heaven! I would say this is on par with Fogo de Chão if not better! And yes I have been to the original Fogo de Chão in São Paulo and the only thing different is the salad bar, which remember kids, is a trap. The staff is accommodating, just let them know what kind of meat/cut youre looking for and theyll bring it to you as soon as its off the flame. Everyone was friendly and our bartender was really cool. Chama Gaúcha is a very popular Brazilian Steakhouse in Brazil and they really go out of their way here to provide us with the Brazil experience. I hope this place sticks around forever! And yes most of the staff is from Brazil, so its an excellent place to have a caipirinha & practice your Portuguese. Muito Bom!!! (Very Good)

Very similar to Fogo De Chao in the details, but the changes are mostly improvements. They have the same delicious Brazilian-style lemonade, the same delicious cheesy bread puffs, and the same bananas (with a little crisp finish, not breaded like some other places. The salad bar was very similar to Fogo, not quite as elaborate as Texas de Brazil, but ample nonetheless. The meats were outstanding, and the service showed great attention to detail (if I asked for rare, they not only carved it, but remembered in the future, and brought meats that were cooked to that temperature going forward. The meats were seasoned in a greater variety of ways - nothing radical, but a little more pepper was noticeable in some cases. That added to the experience, as the meats had more distinctive tastes. They also offered sauces, which I didnt feel the need to try. They were very proactive about providing fresh cheesy bread, which was always straight out of the oven, when it is at its most addictive. Finally, pricing was relatively reasonable, ($38 apiece for dinner plus $4 for an excellent, refillable beverage, which isnt an option at Texas de Brazil - roughly $10 cheaper than the better known places which are certainly no better). All in all, it may be the best churrascaria of the dozen or so Ive been to.
