Will not ever walk in here again unless they train certain staff members (boy at register). We have gone to the establishment for over 30 years ad NEVER waited 40 minutes to get an egg! Yes, an egg! The boy needs to stop opening register to count money or simply find a coin older than the other, and help out. I sat down card to pay and boy told me I was rude! How was I to pay, but, thats when I told him thats provably why people go to Tasty Waffles! His response to me was people who frequent Tasty Waffles are rude bitches, retarded and werdos! REALLY ! Then my family and friends will become weirdos! To top it all off, he made a very snide remark, to another customer, what is it her time of the month? Sandy is awesome as are a couple other waitresses, but,the first person you see, ( the boy with spiderweb tatoo on left elbow) needs to be properly trained! I give zeros across the whole board! Enjoy your day.

This place is so cozy, has super friendly and attentive staff. Food is always great, tasty, just as I ordered. I love the ma and pa diner feel. The frittatas are amazing! Omelettes and scrambles are great! Large portions, usually make another take home container for a 2nd meal (unless your portion sizes are large when you eat a meal..but I cant eat it all) Never have to wait for a table. I have been here many times and never once was I dissatisfied!! Im picky and nit picky with restaurants so this speaks volumes for me. Only things I wish could change is that theyd have hours beyond 3pm and that the parking gets a bit tight for my oversized vehicle.

My co-worker talked me in to eating here she was like omgoodness why havent you been there and I must say best breakfast ever near the town of Lemont. If I knew at the beginning of this place...... I got the over medium eggs and hash browns, with flour tortillas, salsa (house made very good) and french toast my Goodness I was in heaven and was blessed as I wasnt feeling 100% for a few days and after I ate here life came back in to my body the ladies where nice and understanding as we worked the over night 12hr shift....... way better than H&Hs breakfast and salsa....... just saying dont know why its not put out there more....

Awful... Im in Romeoville quite often and this was my first and LAST time eating there... As it being my fist time I was excited for the food... I order take out which took 15 mins for biscuits and gravy w/ harsh browns and eggs. Well the eggs were ordered scrambled but they were watery and not fully cooked, the hash brown were so dry I took 4 bits only.. and the "freshly made" buscuit were obviously not fresh bc they were kinda Hard in spots from being reheated... they even messed up my bacon... couldnt even cook it extra crispy like i asked for... some pieces were soggy... AWFUL!

This place is Fantastic! Very polite and friendly staff. They really make you feel like part of the family here. Food is excellent, taste great and you get huge portions for the price. This is my go to restaurant when Im in the area.
