My partner and I have been to Pizza M a number of times. They have a great atmosphere and décor there. The pizzas are delicious and are available in a variety of interesting and non-traditional flavors (including the Abby, a breakfast pizza, and the Sugar Bear, a pear and brie pizza). They use a thin crust style which has a little more crunch to it than I’m used to, being from New Jersey. But it’s a great texture and works great with their interesting flavors. In the back of the building, Bar M has a couple walls covered in really interesting Sharpie drawings (so interesting that we decided to hold our wedding reception here last week!). There are also several beautifully handmade wooden tables to sit at in the back and on Wednesday nights they have trivia with fabulous prizes! An excellent place to hang out and enjoy a unique pizza with a really, really wide selection of interesting drinks to choose from!

I have had decent food here, but interacted with a very rude employee. I had been working in the front room when a brass band began to setup right in front of me. I move into the back room, which was very quiet and the emplyee behind the counter tells me that it is about to get really loud back there. I ask how loud and he says as loud as out front. I indicated I would work for as long as I could (keeping in mind the room was practivally empty) and then his story suddenly changes. Now he tells me they are closing that space in 10 minutes. Now I know at least one of these was a lie to get me to leave, so I relocate back to the front room to work in front of a brass band concert. An hour later I look back in the other room and it is (1) still open and (2) very quiet. Overall, as nice as this space might be, it doesnt make up for being lied to. On a positive note, the brass band was great.

Well, I would like to share my experience as a person that lived in Urbana/Champaign for a while. This place is relatively new (at least didnt exist when I moved to U/C) and I decided to try it. The pizza was fine but the employee was very unprofessional very immature and I even consider that as rude. I personally had a very bad experience with the guy behind the register. I dont feel comfortable to try it again only due to the poor customer service. If I knew the name of the guy, I would mention it here. I dont even recommend it to my friends.

We had a baby shower in the back room at Bar M and it turned out wonderful. We rented the room for 2 hours, different pizzas came out every 15 minutes. We had a waitress who provided great service. The food and service was great. Our party had 40 people and the room was plenty big enough. The owner was easy to work with via email when I had questions about renting the space. Ricks Bakery in Urbana also provided cupcakes. He delivered to Pizza M for the party and they were delicious.

This is a very hip style local pizza shop where you will find lots of students studying. They have great options in vegetarian pizza as well and you can also try a lot of different kind of local root beers. The pizzas are quite unique and the staff is nice and friendly. Also this place has a billboard with posters and flyers of all the upcoming events in Urbana champaign area

Nice little pizza joint. Its set up with cafeteria style seating and you just order up at the counter by the coffee. The best part about this pizza is the crust! Its like a soda bread crust and its really, really good. Great options on toppings. Heck you can even go with the option to have the chef make a pizza with whatever random things they want to put on.

Great Sicilian style individual slices at lunch and full thin crust pizza all day. I do wish the Sicilian had a little more sauce/cheese/toppings, because sometimes its a little too bready for my taste... I also understand thats kinda what Sicilian pizza is! But if I could get individual slices of their thin crust, Id be in heaven, because its amazing.

This place is pretty oddly set up, but they have great pizza. Thinner pizza style with excellent toppings. I love any pizza of theirs that involves Black Dog meats, but they dont happen often enough. They do serve alcohol as well, and have a variety of fruity non-alcoholic drinks that are a little pricy for their size.

My wife and I just moved to town and this is one place that wont be getting our money again. The pizza was decent but nothing special. The cashier on the other hand was very rude, aloof, and unhelpful. This was mirrored in the person who delivered the pizza to our table as well. Customer service goes a long way.

Ordered margarita pizza (tomato, mozz and basil). Same price as all pizzas, including those with meat. There was almost zero mozz and Im certain it wasnt fresh. Crust was only good part. Paid $15 for tomatoes and a few fresh leaves of basil. Total rip off. Also waited 45 min. Wont be back.

Pizza M is the best pizza in C-U! Go and get the Abbi or the sugar bear. The BBQ Veggie is also quite good. Flying Machine Coffee is also the best coffee in C-U! Their decaf Americano is superb! They have great seating and wifi, so go for the evening!

I went to this place with my family to have pizza. Unfortunately, the guy working there was rude and we had to go to another place. Because of him and his rudeness, I never went back there again. Thank You

Just had my first Pizza M experience, and man is good pizza. Crispy thin crust, with fresh tasty toppings & a sweet/savory sauce. Im a bit of a pizza snob, and really loved this! Thanks Pizza M!

Very interesting pizza and the atmosphere is very nice. I appreciate the science lectures they hold here. When visiting Urbana, you need to visit here for pizza.

Great pizza and toppings combinations. Its a thin crust, but not like a cracker and not like that saggy New York stuff. Just right. Highly recommended!

Delicious thin crust pizza, and they have cold Hamms on tap. (Plus a lot of fancier beers.) One of my favorite places to eat in CU.
