Southern bell restaurant with just a spot of racism. I was attending mothers day with a family of mine and was observing. Now granted its mothers day its crowded so a wait time is expected. Here where it get messed up I noticed a black family of 12 getting sitted and the lady took there order there order than 15 mins later a white family of 12 gets sitted right behind them. Not only did they get there food first the waitress completely ignored the black family. Untill one asked to see a manger. Now the lady did not get loud or rude or make a scene but I could tell she told her off the manger was crying. So after they must have came to agreement and the family waited another half hour and they left. Yes they got up and left Me and my family actuallly stayed and so did a few others who noticed what was going on. regardless of what race it the 21st century and blantent racism like that needs to be stopped. Good food but after the display I saw I can confidently say I am completly done with this place.

My co-workers and I placed an order from work about an hour and a half ago.. Not only did they take forever for it to be ready but the first time she went to pick it up the orders were wrong!! so they only gave her my tray with maybe 1/4 of it filled with onion rings... they told her they would give her a new order of onion rings when she would return to pick up the other orders that were messed up. So she came back and they told her she had already picked up the onion rings when she first picked up the orders.. Not to mention the onion rings were nearly $7.00 !!! And I only received 1/4 of the onion rings.. I am so upset I spent nearly $7.00 on some onion rings that were in a bigger styrofoam platter and only 1/4 of it was filled (5-6 small onion rings).

To begin, the restaurant was so cold inside. Second, the skillet was okay and the pancakes were awesone. The only problem I have was the price. I paid $17.00 for my meal and an orange juice. Then I realize they charged me for my refill of orange juice for a total of $6.50!!!!! To top things off when I paid for my meal, the waitress, who was hosting at the time short me a dollar to add to her tip. As if I wasnt going to give her a generous tip. I normally wouldnt make a big deal over something like a dollar but it is the principal. I WILL NOT BE REVISITING THIS RESTAURANT. I suggest diners take a small drive down the road to Big Apple Pancake House where the waitresses are friendly and they wont cheat you out of a dollar.

Ive been coming to this restaurant since its previous incarnation, Southern Belles, opened. Staff is always fast and friendly. Theyre always very kind to my children and we usually get to see our regular waitresses. The food is generously portioned and come out quickly. I recommend getting the Chicken and Bacon Waffle and schedule an angioplasty for when youre done. There are healthy options too but seriously, go for some of the more outrageous menu options like the deep fried french toast or breakfast sliders. This is my familys go to breakfast spot.

The Place its modern and Nicely Clean, but the service was never there. I could understand one mistake here or there, Ive owned a restaurant on the past. The problem here is that I had to get up and walk to another table to get first a cup for my coffee which I had requested for several times. We also requested in several occasions, Butter, hot sauce, ketchup, napkins, etc etc. Most of this we had to get up and get from another table or bother different servers or walk up to the front to ask for them. Basically we couldnt enjoy our Lunch at All!!!

Thank goodness nothing changed at the Southern Belle in Crest Hill when they did an incredible remodel The food is wonderful,My wife loves the country gravy. The eggs are always perfectly cooked along with the sausage. The pancakes are wonderfully light and fluffy. The skillets are creative and that continues into the luncheon menu..Impeccable service and the staff is always right on top of things.I think you have to smile to work there. Great people!

The portions are INSANE! the sausage is the best ice had here in Joliet, Crest Hill, and New Lenox. I ordered the Triple Deuce (no its actual name on the menu) and everything was perfect. Coming from NYC where there are more diners than police stations, hospitals, and Starbucks... This place ranks high on my scale of "Please take all of my money" meter. And our waitress, Becky Brooks was pitch perfect awesome!

OMG, THIS PALCE AND SERVICE IS AWESOME! If you are having a skillet breakfast (comes with two large pancakes) you would be wise to plan on splitting it with someone. Do yourself a favor and ask for Andrea. Tell her, the old couple from Georgia, sent you. We returned a second time and it is still the most favorite breakfast place I have ever visited. I give it five stars, only because ten is not available.

Great food, enormous portions and very friendly staff. They make their own corn beef hash and it is fabulous. I love their Shamrock Benedict. My grandson loves the pancakes and my 89 year old mother who eats nothing much at all loves the Ice Cream Sundae Waffle and eats most of it! My husband usually gets whatever is on special because he trusts them to make something yummy!

My favorite place for breakfast and lunch. Sundays is the best time for me to get a delicious breakfast and not worry about being rushed to eat. My parents, sisters and family members always choose Southern Belle for us to get together and enjoy a family breakfast. I highly recommend everyone to try this restaurant once, try the chicken and rice soup, it is awesome.

This place is delicious and Pepper our server was so lovely! We had brunch around 10am on a Sunday and there was only a 5-10 minute wait. We recommend the Southern Omelet and if you build your own omelet, i suggested a chorizo, tomato, onion with your favorite cheese. Will definitely go again and we will be requesting Peppers section! Thanks

Awesome place to have a great breakfast. The coffee is refilled often and the TABO omlette was awesome! The pancakes were DELICOIUS and very LARGE. They werent as generous with the hashbrowns as usual, but everything was perfectly prepared. The service was good and we were able to get in and out without feeling rushed. :)

Im a frequent flyer @ The Belle"...the food and service are always GREAT!! Went on Mothers Day & that was a little frustrating. On holidays like Mothers Day...might not be a bad idea to do reservations-just to avoid the congestion. However, in the end...had a great time and was glad we chose "The Belle"!

Honestly its the best breakfast place around, besides old-fashioned pancake house in joliet. The skillets are the best because you can get them with 2 tasty fluffy pancakes. So much food you most likely wont eat it all in 1 serving youll have to save it for later. The food quality is there as well 5-5
