I been a loyal customer for the last 23 years and visit this restaurant at least 6-7 times a month but after what happen last night, I wont be coming back. I took my family and we ordered 4 meals plus appetizers which included a large hummus, lentil soup etc. They usually serve pita bread with all their meals and certain appetizer. After receiving our food my wife noticed they forgot to give us pita bread. I kindly went to the front and explained that I did not receive any pita bread with any of our meals or large hummus. One of their employees got a attitude and me gave one pita bread cut into half. While eating with my family my kids and wife were asking for more pita bread so I went back to ask for more. The same employee started giving me more attitude over some pita bread which should of been included with our food in the first place. I have never lost my temper in a restaurant but I found it very disrespectful and embarrassing how this employee reacted. I had bad service at other restaurants but never where I had to raise my voice. Pita inn should be ashamed. You just lost a loyal customer and I will make sure none of family or friends ever dine in your establishment again.

This place is amazing !!!!!!!! I was waiting in front of the restaurant seated in the hallway waiting for a few friends, during this time I got a chance to see the restaurant for about 30 minutes. I witnessed a young man working meeting people wiping windows vacuuming floors when my party came we ate and had a good time very clean place, the food was awesome. At the end of my meal the same gentleman that was doing all the work even bus my table. I had to ask in his name he told me Latif! I tell you if every restaurant had a person like him your experience would be amazing like mines was here!

Ive been coming to pita inn for years and the food is good but at this specific location?? Ever since they moved to a larger space, I think the food is compromised. Now its more expensive for less food than what you used to get. My entrees have way less meat than before while being overloaded with rice and salad. The old location was different. Also, it seems like the sauces are watered down compared to before. I like pita inn but I noticed I get more food for the money at the other locations. If thats corrected, Id give it 5 stars.

You guys should stop using ChowNow for your online ordering and delivery. I ordered my food at 9:54PM with an estimated delivery of 10:40PM. I called ChowNow at 10:50PM to find out where was my food and the guy from customer service just said they had a problem with the delivery person and they were going to request another driver to pick up my food at this point it was 10:59PM and you guys were already closing. Terrible service and the agent who answered my call just wanted to hung up on me and just offered a refund with no apology.

I have been going here since it was at its old location on Dempster and it was a teeny tiny place...I think at least 20 years. I have never had a bad meal. The quality has been consistent and the service is always friendly. I have catered and been to events that have been catered by this location and the quality is the same. I have no idea what kind of witch craft is going on in that kitchen but I have never had smoother, creamier hummus. Every time someone says, "My place has better hummus!", they are wrong!

Food: 4 Decor: 2 Service: 3 We came here for dinner right before the 4th of July fireworks. 1. Chicken shawarma entree, 8.50 Thin slices of marinated chicken cooked on a slowly revolving rotisserie served with rice pilaf, salad and our homemade pita bread. ~Yummy. Everything was pretty good, although I suppose the chicken was slightly on the dry side. Still, it was pretty good. 2. Falafels, 0.5 ~Pretty good, one of the better falafels Ive had. Definitely would come here more often if I lived closer.

Thank you for having a staff that is beyond excellent. Indeed, you have excellent food but its your staff that makes the difference. In particular, Id like to recognize Latif who always has a smile and a welcoming hello. Although very focused on clearing/cleaning tables, he never forgets the customers. He even offers to retrieve boxes for your delicious leftovers. He along with the rest of your staff are to be complimented for their outstanding work.

The food was so good. I got the lamb kabob with rice and salad. They give you a hardy portion. Enough for two people or for leftovers. The staff is always very nice and courteous. Also willing to explain anything that you dont understand about the menu. I really love the decor and how clean it is. Usually when I go it is very busy but I get my food only after a few minutes and my order is right. Hot and fresh. I look forward to visiting again.

I dont know, but the best hummus, the best falafel, the best Pita, the best baklava , the best baba ganoush in the world somehow end up in Skokie Illinois. I moved away from Evanston 20 years ago. The first place I always go when I return is Pita Inn. Straight from OHare. I even emailed them to ask if they would mail me some hummus. They did not reply. Probably because they were too busy making delicious delicious I hummus. Thats okay.

Fast, inexpensive, fresh, colorful, authentic, poppin. This is a social hub that should not be missed. You enter into a whole new world, all of your senses will be heightened to a new level. Enjoy this feast, bring your friends! Ive never had a bad, let alone mediocre experience. Their lunch special and vegetarian combo plate are mind altering. It has been a pleasure watching this local establishment blossom.

My family and I love going to Pita Inn. The food is wonderful and reasonably priced, especially the business special on week days! Our favorite thing about Pita Inn though is the amazing treatment we receive for their best employee, Latif. He always makes us feel so comfortable and he is so kind to us. When you go to Pita Inn, ask to be in Latifs area...you wont be disappointed!

Not a good experience. Arrived at 3:03 and was told "too late" for lunch special which ended at 3:00. OK! Ordered a coffee with my pitta charged me for it, grumbled something about brewing it and bringing it to me. Never saw it. Left at 3:35. Waited on by the manager. What a joke, must be a relative. I will never go back!

Great place to grab lunch with coworkers/friends. Lunch special is unbeatable for the amount of good food you will receive. Relatively cheap compared to other places around Dempster location. Highly recommend the chicken lunch special or chicken fatoush salad. Never be worried that you wont leave on a (very) full stomach.
