Customer service. Came here with my family and spent a good amount of money. Forgot to take my visa on the way out. Called the restaurant when i got home and they said they have it i can come pick it up they cannot mail it to me. My wife went to get the card the next day and the lady who worked that day said she cannot give the card w/o my ID. My wife explained that she came all the way from Chicago and that I was at work, when we called Noone said anything about ID.. the woman kept talking about their policy and how she cannot give that card back wo ID. If I or my wife give you a description about the card (MICKEY MOUSE) and the name what more do you need? You didnt ask for ID when you charged me (up the... ) Food is way overpriced and not that great. Not worth that much. Dont talk to your customers about policy. I dont care what your policy is. You should teach your staff first so they know to tell people that in case they forget their cards... your staff should know your policy not your customers after you already ripped them off.

Mediocre food that is way overpriced. The restaurant looks brand new, very bright with lots of windows, comfortable dining room. By the high prices on the menu I was expecting some extraordinary food. But when it came, it was tolerable at best. We were all excited that tater tots came with the meals, but they turned out to be the same frozen tots my mom used to make at home with a little seasoning sprinkled on them, and far less than expected. My burger looked like it had been pre-packaged meat. It was tasty enough but not for the price. My friend ordered Steak Frites which turned out to be a very thin and poorly prepared steak with fries on top, not nearly worth the $16 it cost. The bill for 4 adults and 2 children was $75 plus tip, but no one really enjoyed their meal. I would suggest to the owners that the food must be improved or the prices reduced, preferably a little bit of both.

The food was great. I had a burger and my girlfriend had wings and a salad. We also shared an order of onion rings. $3.50 beer special running as well! We ate very well and had drinks for under $50.. our server, Nicolas, was also great. Funny, nice and attentive. We will definitely be back when were in the area again!

I placed a carryout order and they told me 20 minutes and my burger will be done. When came in 25 minutes later I was told itnwoild be another 5 minutes. I ended waiting another 35 minutes for an overpriced burger. I dont recommend this place. They didnt even offer me anything while I waited for over half an hour.

25 minutes after we were seated, the waiter came to take our drink order. It took 20 more minutes to bring the drinks. Ordered food, then our waiter disappeared for a half hour. Worst service Ive ever had at a restaurant and they were only moderately busy! Food was ok, but I would not recommend this place!

A member of a smaller chain, it executes well the idea of a diverse tap selection and endless bottle list. Not really unique, but not the generic either. Friendly barkeeps and staff and a facilities are inviting factors. Right across the street from the Metra stop, its not surprising to see a happy hour rush.

I gave a star just so I could give a review. I ordered a grilled chicken ceaser salad for lunch today and I dont know if it was the greens, chicken, cheese or the white balsamic. I got food poisoning from your salad. I dont need to go into detail but lets just say SICK. I will never eat there again.

Its a 3 star restaurant. Highwood is full of 4 and 5 stars. This place is more casual, more laid back. Gets loud on the weekends. Good selection of beer. A step up from bar food, but just a fancier version of the basics.

Large beer selection. Good food- I had a spicy burger which was very good. My wife, the fish tacos which she enjoyed. Friendly staff. A very good musician adding to the ambiance. Overall a nice evening out!

I like their Tuesday build your own burgers night. Also their shrimp and grits appetizer is amazing. They also have reasonably priced beer flights. It is a little loud though, for dinner hours.
