DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE... Last Monday I went to this restaurant for lunch and it was awful! The customer service here is very poor and the food is not that good. We were not greeted properly, we were just told to “take a seat wherever”. Just as she handed us the menus, the waitress immediately asked for the order. She was nice, but really… we did not yet know what is on the menu. The chips tasted like the oil had been over used and needed a change. After our food was served, the waitress never came back to check on us. I tried to wave her down to request a refill and a side of lime and avocado but she ignored me. I had to get up and bring my cups to have them refilled and had to ask for extra ice as the drinks only had two small ice chips. The food tasted OK but it is not worth going out of your way. When I went to pay the bill (That is right, they do not even bring it to your table) they overcharged me, so I questioned it and then rectified it. I paid with a card and the manager looked at me as if doubtful that payment would go through. She did not hand me the receipt, she placed on the table and told me to sign. I asked if I could please use a pen and again, she threw it on the counter! She was just very rude! Never did she try to be pleasant despite my very hard efforts to change the bad mood. I was always polite the whole time in spite of her lack manners. I left a tip for the waitress who attended my table, not for the service but for the benefit of the doubt. After the manager was so rude, I highly doubt that the wait staff is trained properly or trained at all. Oh and back to the food… we got food poison from it. Bottom line is: DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE.

In this restaurant they think people are stupid. You ask for a tongue taco and they give you 2 little pieves of it mixed with other meat. When you tell the waitress about it she yells you that that is how they serve it the problem here is that they have to be loyal be honest about their food. Not coming here again and dont recommend anyone to come here. Unless you like to eat any messed up food. Shaking my head! Trashhh! We all know that cow tongue is expensive and this is the reason they do it. Should tell the costumers that they do this.

Ive lived in the area for a couple years. This place is amazing. The customer service is outstanding. The customer service and the great food makes this place coming back to time and time again. The owners will talk to you ask you how everything is going and genuinely care about their clientele. This place isnt the same Los Comales as Waukegan (the food isnt nearly as good there). I will happily keep coming back here for amazing food and friendly people!

We live in Round Lake Park and Love Los Comales because with our busy schedule their open late. The Carne Asada tacos are better than anyplace in Round Lake and ranks right their with our Favorite in the City!!! Anyone who loves clean, great quality of food, great waitstaff and employees and most of all Killer Food go to Los Comales. I work in Fox Lake and my guys even go here when its Burrito day at work!!!

Best Mexican food in Round Lake Area! However, I docked a star because every time we have them deliver, something is always missing. First two times was the horchata, this time they made sure we got that but they forgot our Pico de Gallo and only gave us rice and beans with two of our three dinner orders. They addressed it quickly and brought us the missing items. Overall happy customers!

Our waiter greeted us when we walked in. Very courteous, asked where we would like to sit and made sure our table was clean and in order. Came back right away with menu and took our drink order. Our food was brought to the table rather quickly. Not a fan of the carrots, broccoli and peppers in vinegar. Seems dated. The bathroom was very clean. Other staff was also attentive.

These people steal money from you. Always make sure you get a copy of your reciept and ask exactly what they are charging you for. Extremely poor service. Would never go again even if you paid me. The meat they use doesnt even come from a cow. A health inspector needs to check that out asap!

The experience was amazing! In my opinion the "Torta Cubana" was the most delicious torta I have ever tasted. This place is friendly with everyone. The waitresses are very nice, polite and straight to what the customer expects. Very good restaurant. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Really great for placing orders for pickups during the week. Weekends for pickup is usually a bit of a rushed quality. If you were to come in and dine in, the food is well prepared, fast and presented in a nice and simply fashion.

The food is good and not too pricey. The service is good. The people at the register are always polite. When Im craving Mexican food with a real Mexican taste like back home this is my go to. I love the al pastor and barbacoa.
