This place has potential to be better than it is currently. The ribs could be great and the same with the burgers. They both need a tune up. Its basically cooking technique. Good quality meat and a decent price. SEAR your burgers on an open flame grill. Grill the ribs on an open flame grill after the basic long cooking process and "grill on the sauce". Both products would take on a whole new dimension. The old place is a bit tacky but down to earth people could overlook that. The wait staff needs a tune up also. Much better eating experience in the bar The burger is quite large and juicy. It just needs another dimension of flavor. Again, reasonable prices.

great pizza...thin crust crunchy..best two or three thin crust pizza places in lake county. which they would get done with the longest rehab ever..because while they have been at it since jan, the place is painted..but the carpets are disgusting and the chairs old and uncomfortable. The wait staff is friendly but not professional ...the ceiling tiles are so old that in the bar, it still smells like they smoke indoors. if you want the pizza, I would suggest taking it to go..because you will love it..but you may never want to go back and eat in.

This is a real Roadhouse, more Bar than Restaurant. With it comes the usual bar crowd that keeps the place in business on the typical weekday evening. The restaurant side is rarely busy on those evenings, and the food is quite good if a bit pricey for the atmosphere (Burgers about $10). The upside is that the beer can be cheap.

Food is amazing, Family owned, and you are treated like family when you are there. There arent too many places like this arround anymore, dont just drive past it, turn in and try it. Pizza, italian sausage etc. cant be beat. And have Katy make you a cocktail when youre there.

Just had a really nice atmosphere. Smaller place. Neighborhood bar. I didnt like the chicken sandwich because the breast was rubbery in some areas. Will go back though. Tv coverage nice, could see a game here. Friendly staff, helpful (what i assumed to be the) manager.

Cool little joint. Cozy bar. Decent foods. Friendly service. Smoking deck out back. Grew up on dive bars in Minnesota and Im very comfortable there. Bar separate from dining room so good for all members of the family or nay crowd.

Went there today for the first and very last time. The service was AWFUL, the waitress was unkempt, the food wasnt very appetizing and the building was run down. Wish I would have stayed home and cooked.

Great ribs, fun crowd, and always something happening! Had a great time last Fathers day with my kids! St. Pattys day had an awesome ruben. My kids asking to take them this Fathers day. Ill see you there!!

Excellent food at this little spot on the corner of Gilmer and midlothian. Homey with fantastic pizza, pasta, salads, sandwiches and desserts. A favorite spot for lunch or a drink at the bar.

Dumpy and cramped, had to wait 5 mins to get service from the bartender bc she was doing a shot with a customer , and WAY overcharging for beer ($6 for a bottle of miller lite!)
