The menu is very limited like everyone else said. There are two sauces Cains (thousand) sauce or Honey Mustard sauce. Do not like either. Plus, do not ask to substitute anything!! The order taker looked at us, like we totally threw her off her script when we explained we did not want the cole slaw for the 4 piece. I mean, all we did was tried to explain we just DID NOT want it. After 2 minutes of explaining ourselves, we just went with the 3 piece instead (which did not have the cole slaw with it). Everything is very overpriced for a small amount of food, I am not sure how anyone in the area will make this a "place to go" kind of place. Explaining that we did not want the Canes Sauce took another minute. A little bit frustrating. The Chicken breading was good, but the pieces were small I thought I was eating a sampler, not a $7 meal. There was just one type of chicken, no spicy no original, etc. I am not sure if there is ketchup or hot sauce for the fries. Was not offered nor did not see it on the menu. Highlight: the lemonade was great. Really clean inside, not sure why the cashier area was so far in the corner, I can see this be a problem when ordering food if this location got busy.. Not sure how this restaurant will get around the fact Chick fil a is down the street with an offering of multiple sauces, multiple types of chicken offerings (spicy/regular). Too much of a headache, will not go back but at least I can say I tried it!

You go there for 1 thing and 1 thing only; the BEST chicken fingers! I dont get why some people give it one star because of the limited menu. They do one thing (chicken fingers) and they do it very well. You dont go to Popeyes and order a burger. Im a fan of the Canes sauce but not everyone is. You must give the sauce a try but I recommend ordering the honey mustard if youre not a fan of mayo based sauces. PS, they also serve the good ice. If your an ice fan you know what Im talking about. Those small crunchy ice bits that make every drink 1000xs better. My order: Box Combo Add Honey Mustard Fresh Lemonade Im originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana where Canes originated. I travel all the way from Wicker Park to grab a bite whenever I can. I guess I am now, officially a Caniac.

Not only do i work here. After trying the chicken Im hooked.yes we have a limited menu theres a reason for that. So many different places focus on so many different things at once and it may not be the best quality that your getting. Might be cheap might be fast but it may not be good. Here at Canes we focus on making the perfect box for YOU.we specialize in chicken tenders/fingers, fries and toast, the fresh lemonade, the coleslaw and the special sauce to me is just a bonus.i get great quality and even better service. Im addicted to our chicken and honey mustard sauce. But thats just me

Im a vegetarian so chicken aint my thang, however I saw French fries on the menu so I figured why not? The fries were $1.79 and didnt come with any kind of sauce so I had to buy the sauce which wasnt bad, and thank God I did. From the time the cashier gave me my order to the car the fries were barely warm. I was very disappointed to the amount of fries that was given compared to the container it was served in and the taste was normal the sauce saved my trip but I didnt fall in love with the sauce either. I hope you enjoy your visit mines was ok nothing great.

The menu is very limited and the chicken fingers are only good if you eat them right away otherwise they get soggy. The other issue I have is the lack of dipping sauces. No buffalo sauce!!! The only sauce they have tastes like mayonnaise with a little mustard. It just doesnt work for me, too greasy takes away from the nice taste of the chicken. If I go back Ill stop at McDonalds or Chick-fil-a for buffalo dipping sauce first and eat all if my chicken fingers there.

Exceptional Service, very friendly, some of the best chicken strips, I have tasted, for as freshness. But far as taste, The chicken is sub par, But is complimented by its great tasting canes sauce, which takes the strips to another level. Also, an added bonus with the softest texas toast I ever had, In conclusion, I feel its a bit over price for today, quick service restaurants but is worth a visit for a first time experience, you will be more then satisfied.

The portions are very small. The chicken was not evenly battered on several pieces and the French Fries serving were small and warm at best. I ordered a dinner and of course the coleslaw was an extra charge. They only have chicken on the menu and sides. Another bad chicken restaurant with bad food and ready to take your money. It would be best to take your business somewhere else. I was with 4 other people and they all concur with what Im sharing with you.

I eat a lot of chicken and basically the taste is good if you just want chicken. The sauce is okay, but there is no variety of the sauces/condiments that you can choose. I think at their prices you should have at least 7 sauces to pick from. I agree that the parking is very easy to obtain in their lot because half of the time it seems there is no one there! The last time I went here I thought the place was closed because there were no cars in the lot.

A-1!!!!!! First time eating there yesterday and i swear Ive been craving going back today which I might actually do. Canes sauce is on point. Chicken fingers are literally the best Ive ever tried. And dont even get me started with the Texas toast!!! On a side note, Ive never liked lemonade but tried theirs and was amazed! Seriously people, try this place. You will not be disappointed..

I was surprised that Canes main thing is rather ordinary chicken fingers. I was hoping for something special, especially considering the relatively high cost. I found them pretty much indistinguishable from chicken fingers Ive gotten everywhere else, including cheap frozen ones. My dinner was fine, but for that kind of money I was hoping for something better.

The only sad part was not hearing "chicken chicken what combo you pickin?" when we pulled up to the drive through. We drove an hour to get us some Canes, when I lived in Houston it was my FAVORITE! I am so happy there is one kind of close by. Someone tell this franchise owner to open another one up north!

Didnt even realize we had these up here but man Canes is pretty awesome. Simple menu with simple flavors but it does chicken well. The sauce and the Texas toast just round it out. Definitely stop by if you are in the area because youll get great chicken and a great space with quick and easy service.

I have only been through the drive-thru but the food here is fantastic! Service is friendly and quick. The menu is limited, but what they offer is what they do extremely well. The prices are a bit more than other chains, but definitely worth it once in a while.
