This is the place to go if you want incredible service and authentic Napoletana pizza. You would never know by the outside - nestled in the corner of a strip mall - that you would find a warm and inviting space serving incredible food inside! The staff make sure you feel welcomed - there are creative specials every day and a menu that offers something for everyone. The Pizza Diavlo is my personal favorite - try the arancini appetizer with a glass of house chianti. Desert is crazy good - Nutella Pie - you have to taste it - eat it there - it does not travel well. If you still have time - lemon cello is phenomenal and made in house. This started out as a place we wanted to try in the neighborhood - since that first visit we have hosted parties and shared our find with friends and family. Cant wait till our next visit!!

My wife and I love this place! Weve been nearly weekly since discovering it because it was so good. Our goal is to try every pizza and their desserts are delicious as well (see the Gelato picture). We also tried the chocolate covered Gelato which was excellent. The owner (so he seems to be) is there every time we visit and is always attentive of the patrons and ensures that everyones expectations are met. Only thing that would be better is to have a bit more beer selection and be able to have a drink outside on the patio.

The pizza is almost there. I found the execution was bit off, but that does not mean I would not go back, in fact I will. The location is, like so many others in this neighborhood, limited by what strip mall parking is available. I found a spot right away but it was probably the second to last one available, in the early evening. Most of the what we ate was delicious, some of it was not. I am being slightly more critical because it is charging real money for an atmosphere and experience that could be improved.

Amazing!!! First-time visitors.... My girlfriend and I visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening. The place felt alive and kickin. Great beer and drink selection, AMAZINGLY delicious Italian cheeses and appetizer selection and a truly brilliant thin crust Italian pizza with the freshest ingredients. The only thing better than the food was the service. Our waiter was highly professional and VERY knowledgeable. Overall it was a great experience and so close to home. 5 stars

The Neapolitan pizza is amazing. It only takes 90 seconds to cook so you can order more if you still have room or you can get a Nutella pizza for dessert. Weve been to both locations, but prefer the Harlem location for friendlier service and lower prices. It is in a strip mall, but you forget that when you get inside. There is plenty of room for groups. If you want a hipper location, head over to Randolph. The pizza is the same at both places.

Let me start by saying, what a great place! When you walk in the Manger greets you and you are seated at your table fast. Entire staff s friendly and ready to help. Servers are attentive and polite which makes for that much better experience. Food was delicious and served beautifully. This restaurant is an example of how a successful business should be ran. Its always a pleasure to come here.

We went to this restaurant for the first time on 8/15. The owner (Nick) came to our table and introduced himself. My daughter has several food allergies, and he came up with something to make not on the menu she could eat. For the rest of us, the pizza was fantastic! Just like we were back in Naples! If you give them at least 24 hour notice, they will have gluten-free dough for you.

small place, not to many parking spots to park your car, food like in many other italian restaurants. But the worst thing was that I was waiting for my food to long and my pizza was small and burned, no one came to ask me if want more water and if I need something. For desert I got tiramisu and it was okay so its only reason why I give two stars. Not recommending this place

I love this place. Although it looks like an ordinary neighborhood restaurant it actually is much more than that. Food is excellent, theres vast selection of drinks that you would normally find in Italy but not in a local joint, wood oven is a classy addition both visually and food-wise. And then to top it all off, great staff too. What more could you ask for?

Looking for the great taste of wood burning pizza....this is the place for you! The thin crust flat bread pizza is amazing and you can choose from unique toppings. They also have a great wine selection. If you are looking for something sweet and unique then try the dessert pizza which has nutella and bananas! Delicious! Great service and great food!

Great Neapolitan style, super thin pizzas. There is a nice assortment of toppings available, and the preparation is good. There is a bar, with cocktails, wine and some beer on draft. There is a small amount of outdoor seating, by the parking lot. The service is friendly, with a great vibe that is family friendly. Enjoy meeting the owner.

Forno Rosso has good food and great service. The pizza is Neopolitan with fresh ingredients and a soft, paper thin crust. Ask for a side of fries. They arent on the menu, but they are available; sprinkled with salt, basil and parmesan cheese. It gets crowded during peak times, but there is rarely a long wait and the atmosphere is very casual.

You totally wanna go there. The fresh ingredients, the wood-fired-oven, the selection of Italian beers, the place itself, the staff: absolutely worth it, one of the best pizza experiences Ive had in NYC so far. I love the pie crust, which is not too soft and wet as you can find in most of the pizza scene in NYC. Not pricey. Highly recommended.

My favorite wood burning oven pizza ever! The white pizzas totally rock. The best are the Barese--a white pizza with a burrata creamy cheese, mild Italian sausage and rapini; the Prosciutto and Arugula, and the Fruili with prosciutto cotto and basil. My favorite appetizer was the Burrata cheese with crostini. To. Die. For.

This place aint all that. Pizza was crap and the service was even worse. Waited almost twenty minutes after being seated for the waitess to come take our drink order. The prices were ridiculous and not worth it. The place had a snobbish kinda feel to it. Definitely never going back. Also not a kid friendly type of place.

Wow! Exceptional food, service, and atmosphere. Try the imported craft beers. They come in large bottles for about 10 bucks and are delicious. The calamari was excellent, and the pizza was outstanding. I cant wait to be in the area again. This is a must try restaurant for anyone traveling through Chicago.
