I have been buying pizzas from Windy City since they opened in 1997 and those bad reviews are obviously written by Windy City competitors. The workers in the store have been always been polite and efficient. The delivery drivers have always been polite and quick. Deliveries usually arrive before the quoted time. Otherwise they are on time. The pizza is excellent and delicious!! Contrary to what one of the reviewers said, the ingredients are fresh and plentiful! Id like to add Ive never had a lukewarm or cold pizza delivered. Ive lived in the Chicago area all my life and have eaten many of the "It" pizzas in the area and Windy City ranks with the best of them!!

I am trying to conceptualize how you mess up pizza, its really not that many ingredients and with pizza pretty much being in mass production really doesnt require any huge effort to make and yet the paradox remains. This is probably the worst pizza I have ever had it tasted like I reheated in in a microwave on high for about 30 min. Their staff either does not listen or generally does not care. Ohh and by the way I could care less who makes it so I am not a rival pizza company, just a guy who took a chance on someone new and got burned.

Very good pizza! I agree with Ron that the negative reviews are left by rivals.. Years ago I worked for some of them and this certainly reminds me of something one of the owners might have done, especially that picture. Ive never worked for Windy but gladly order every week. Other local pizza places have slipped in quality and taste over time but not this one.. please, dont change a thing!

Nice people. But I got a stale pizza. How does that happen? The crust was rubber and the pizza itself was barley warm. They delivered in the time promised but for a customer that lives less than ten mins away I was pretty upset that my pizza seemed like it sat under a broken heat lamp for the past two hours. Needless to say your buy ten get half off coupon is never going to be used. Sorry.

Was in the area and the store smelled great... Was caught off guard by the square cut on a round pizza :/ The crust was rubbery / chewy in the middle. The outer edge was rock hard with a stale like feel. The taste was ok, not gross but nothing special.... Its pizza so even bad pizza is edible. The true test, my 11 year old son said dont go there again

Was disappointed I ordered Italian beefs dipped vverrrryy salty no other flavor. Last month I ordered a pizza it was tough and chewy tasted like cardboard. To bad Ive been buying windy city for years always liked them until recently hope they shape up and get back to the way they were

Been eating at Windy City for years - Mitch and Jen are great - and this is the best pizza ever. Entire family loves, and out of town guests are impressed too. Not sure about reviews of frozen pizza, you can see the making it fresh when you walk in. Again, excellent pizza!

The way they cut the pizzas into 100 little squares is asinine, it makes it impossible to eat without it falling apart. Also, I ordered the cream cheese jalapeño poppers and got the cheddar cheese ones instead. How hard is it to get an order with only two items right??

It has potential, the beef dipped sandwich is loaded with a lot of quality meat... but unfortunately a ton of salt. Like... a. lot. of .salt. I dont mind salt, but it was all I could taste.

Best pizza in the area! I dont see how anyone can right a negative thing about this place. I was so happy that we found this place. All of our guests have loved their pizza also.
