Last night (7/19/14) was our first time at Gullivers. We will definitely be going back. The food was excellent (we had the pig skins & the thin crust pizza). The drinks & the food are reasonably priced. The staff is attentive, out-going & very friendly. Our server was Colleen, she was fantastic. She had my husbands next beer on the table just as he was finishing his last one, no waiting & the place was pretty crowded due to a band playing. Now about the band, first time we ever heard this band, Brittany & The Spears, but we are already fans. They were awesome. Loved their sound, loved their personalities & loved the music that they played. This was exactly what my husband & I were looking for, a place that we could unwind with great food, a few drinks & good service & we were lucky enough to be there on a night that there was a band playing a variety of our favorite songs, which just made the night even better. We got there at 7pm for dinner & ended up staying until midnight. The owner even came around to make sure that we were satisfied with our meals & our service. A+ to Gullivers (and to Brittany & The Spears). You will see us again, real soon!

As a chicago resident i have visited the original many times over the past 20 years. On a friday night with me and my family we visited the Oakbrook location as it was closer. As soon as i walked in noise hit me in the face. No one was waiting but still took more then 5 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was very polite and welcoming. We looked over the menu and read how good the pork skins and the pizza sound. The drinks arrived in a timely manner and where great. The pork skins arrived and as soon as i bit into it, it was like bitting into a rock. All of them where overcooked and dry. The pizza subpar compared to the original. My daughter ordered the fettuccine alfredo with salmon and the pasta was overwhelmed with garlic and the salmon was slimmy. Over all will not visit again. The original is still the best location even though it is a journey to get there, it is well worth the drive compared to this one.

I dont know how anyone could rate this higher than 1 star. Our server seemed to hate her job, bathroom was dirty which is why it probably smelt of only urine, and it was very loud (I understand it is a pub but this was beyond loud). Furthermore the "famous" pan pizza was nauseating and tasted horrendous, I back up my claim with the fact that not twenty minutes after ingesting this vile product, everyone who had a slice shared the undesirable experience of a knot in their stomach as if we had a night of heavy drinking. This experience was complimented the next morning with throwing up and diarrhea. No, it wasnt anything else I ate beforehand or after, yes, this is my opinion and the owner can respond and tell me Im wrong but Im just looking out for the next poor soul that wanted to try this place. Please, heed my warning and dont waste your time. If not, well good luck.

GREAT PIZZA! GREAT BAR! GREAT SERVICE! The pizza here takes about 30-40 minutes to prepare but well worth the wait. The deep dish comes with a flaky buttery crust and chunky sweet tomato sauce. Try the Groupon deal! Its well worth it and virtually 50% off. Salads are of well portion and delightful. I tried the buffalo chicken salad which is a big dish and easy to share. The buffalo chicken was perfectly cooked but a little light on the spice for me. The bar is great with plenty of TV"s and seating. All of the waitresses and car tenders are class acts. They do have daily specials and game day specials so make sure you take advantage of those. ***They do have a service in which they will provide you transportation home within 5 miles*** So please ask about this and dont drink and drive!

Place says "half price thin crust on Monday" on there sign on Roosevelt Rd well thats false advertising!!! It should say half price thin crust on Monday for dine in only!!! Long story short we were having a family reunion and we all agreed pizza was easy and who doesnt like pizza, right? Our bill would of been well over 500$ with all the extras! We get all the kids and adults together to make a plan on what to get and that took about a hour so I call and ask half price on Monday on thin crust right he says yes so I proceed to give him the order and when I was done he said wait its dine in only!!!! Well thats not what your sign says last time I checked thats false advertising!!!! If anyone is thinking about getting a pizza from them I will give you 10$ to order from anywhere but them!!!!

Food was good. Clean and well organized as well as fast service. But on my way out i was harassed about not paying a tip by my waiter. I just got back from college my expenses are limited but my boyfriend and I wanted to go out and have a nice dinner. I am sorry i dont have the extra expenses to give you your tip but I dont, unless you want a quarter and some dimes. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Just tried Gullivers for the first time and it was outstanding! I went with some family and we all enjoyed it. They had great service and amazing pizza! It was crowded but we did not have to wait at all to be seated. They are under new management and are doing a great job at running their business.

I read the review about the couple that didnt leave a tip because they claim they didnt have any money to leave a tip. Next time they want to go out for dinner they should make sure they have enough money to leave a tip and not cry poor and only think about themselves. Shame on you.

The pan pizza here is amazing. I had never been to Gullivers until a friend recommended that my family and I go and try some pizza. We were looking for something reasonable priced and with great food. The staff was amazing and this is the new go to place for family dinner outings.

My friend told me this place is under new management, so a few of us decided to grab some dinner after shopping. Great pizza and apps. The pizza crust is very tasty. We had a great time and will definitely be back again.

On a mission to find some good thin crust pizza in Chicago. Heard a lot about this place and thought we would try it. Unfortunately was totally disappointed. Un-appetizing and expensive. Pass and find another place.

Yes. The pizza is fantastic. The thin crust is your typical Chicago style. Order it "pie-eyed" and its even better. The sauce is tangy, the crust is flaky and crisp and the toppings are extremely fresh! Enjoy!

Used to enjoy going to Gullivers on Howard St. many years ago and thought wed try the one is Oakbrook Terrace since moving out west. The pizza was as I remembered - excellent. However, the service was so-so.

Just went here with my best friend the other day. We split a large pizza and ended up finishing it all because it was so good. One of my favorite pizza places now! Cant wait to go back!
