Rocks the Squirrel
This location needs some serious work. I been going to them for years and they just seem to get worse each time. Cooperate also does not seem to care as after 3 calls to there office, I had someone take notes on my complaint but never got a call back. There drive thru is worse as every time I used it, I had to go around and wait so they can look good on there time to cooperate while we suffer waiting in the car. Today is the second time in around two weeks they messed up my order. I stopped going to this location cause of the bad customer service. Update 11/22/2015: well its been way over a month after I called there home office and three calls later no response even after the last one said they where sending my complaint up to a higher office. Looks like they dont care for anyones business. Update 4/17/2016: Its been months and yet no contact from Popeyes about this issue and just wanted to update this review, never going back to this location till they clean up there act. Then again, that was the last time I went to any locations cause of this issue.

I am a business owner in Tennessee, and when my hrs of operation are Publically posted, I do MY damndest to keep those hrs true. NOT close early on a Saturday, that Im sure is possibly the busiest night of the week. This is my 1st trip to the Chicago area, AND was my 1st and LAST visit to a Popeyes facility as well. After riding on a motorcycle ALL day long, for my husbands grandmothers funeral, all we wanted to do was eat some, (what Iv heard is) delicious chicken, go to bed @ Our motel room, and have a quiet evening with Our memories. INSTEAD, we spent the next hour looking for something besides Pizza to eat. THANK YOU POPEYES FOR CLOSING BEFORE POSTED YOU DO AND NOT HELPING OUR DAY OR OUR NIGHT GO ANY EASIER.

I placed my order at the drive through. 3 piece chicken strip spicy with red beans and rice w/ a coke. I got my exact order repeated back to me. When i pulled up to the window someone who didnt take my order asked me what i ordered. "3 piece spicy chicken strip with red beans and rice & coke" i get my food and as im pulling away i realize i didnt get my coke. Had to reverse and yell through the window to get it. So i get home excited to eat my food and what did i get 5 piece chicken strip not spicy. SERIOUSLY?!?!?! Open your ears and listen. I will never come back here.

They have been advertising the buttermilk shrimp well when I got to this Popeyes, I ordered the shrimp special. The women behind the counter told me they have NO buttermilk shrimp. I asked if they had any shrimp I will take that. She told me they had no shrimp at all. It was only 5:40 on a Sunday I cant believe they ran out of shrimp! I have been there before and they ran out of the special I never said anything however this time was the last straw. I finally thought I would speak up... this Popeyes always has a problem.

This establishment is amazing! I have zero complaints. Once they messed up my order and not only did they correct it but they didnt hesitate to give me extra for the inconvenience which says a lot most places just say sorry and give you the right order. They go above and beyond every day. Just wanted to say thank you and keep up the great work for a quick bite way better then KFC I highly recommend this Popeyes.

Apparently the previous reviews did not go inside and enjoy the atmosphere. My experience was quite nice with the girls behind the counter acting very courteous and very professional. After I ordered my 2 piece meal I didnt quite have enough for a jalapeno pepper out of the jar and they let me give them what I had and gave me a jalapeno pepper out of the jar anyway. I was here on Easter Sunday 2016

We brought 9 piece chicken meal from Popeyes in Melrose park on Saturday night on 12/31/16 and the chicken was horrible the chicken wasnt cleaned and it was fatty and nasty they need to do better with there food we had to throw the chicken out I ordered spicy but I didnt get spicy and the chicken was doey and needed to be cooked longer get better or we will not be eating there anymore.

They now include a larger drink with their combo meals, they used to come with a regular human size drink. They should give a person a choice to decide not to have a drink. Wont be coming here anymore except on Tuesdays for the special "which doesnt include a drink". Food is good and people are friendly, going to miss them.

If i could give 0 stars i would, they have bad, bad customer service they get the order wrong and still have an attitude with you like its your fault. The man that manage the store is racist for sure I will NEVER go there again after being treated that way so horrible hes the worst person Ive ever known

I will NOT go to this store again. The person taking my order asked me if there was anything else as if i was speaking too slow. I also asked for honey. I didnt get honey, ketchup, or napkins! I have been to this location several times and i have had enough! The service there is horrible.!

Really good food. Kind of always busy but it is worth it. Have patience, and if they mess up just talk to them and theyll fix it with speed. Has a lot of great five dollar boxes. Sign up for their text messages and theyll send you coupons to your phone.

We had a company meeting and ordered regular chicken, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and dirty rice. The food was excellent, the chicken was tender and moist. They outdid themselves! Excellent dinner!!!

We always cater from here. They always provide (HOT) and delicious food. I wish they delivered for catering orders, that would be amazing. Way better than KFC thats located further up N on Mannheim Rd.

When I walked in, the drive thru was wrapped around the corner, and the walk in was busy. I placed a large $40 order and was out in ten minutes. I though the service was pretty good.

This place is always fast and the chicken is good. I cant complain. Only once did I have some food that was dry and overcooked. I shop here a lot. The staff is courteous too.

The people who worked here seemed like they hated everyone. I wouldnt blame them, but they were straight up rude. I politely asked for bbq and the lady gave a a bad attitude
