Last night around 10:30 pm I had a craving for fried chicken so I decided to hurry before closing to the closest "Fast" chicken restaurant which would be KFC on Roosevelt rd. in Westchester IL.. Of course KFC was closed so I decided to try Popeyes on Roosevelt rd. in Maywood IL., BIG MISTAKE! I pull in the drive thru and was greeted by a voice that sounded like it belonged to a 12 year old high on speed and marijuana. I politely asked the drive thru associate if I could receive the 10 piece special Popeyes was running currently but in my haste had forgotten my coupon. Of course the young lady said she couldnt do that, so I acknowledged and drove back home to get the coupon. I arrived back at the Popeyes with coupon clutched in hand as I pulled into the drive thru again. The same young lady answered very sarcastically with the scripted greeting for popeyes. I acknowledged and requested a 10 piece spicy chicken tender meal of which I now had the coupon for. 9.99 per advertisement on coupon. The young lady as she continued to laugh said that the only had chicken breasts and thighs left. Really? I then requested considering the inconvenience I had experienced could I be compensated with an extra piece of chicken. The drive thru associate with much pleasure informed me that she couldnt. I then asked to speak to the manager, the drive thru employee stated that the manager was busy.I pulled around the front and went inside the store. The manager came out and with much insensitive pleasure told me that she would not as a gesture add a additional piece of chicken to my order considering thy didnt have any chicken tenders which is what I wanted. Finally with much condescending un-professionalism she agreed to give me a free side. Really? The sides cost more than the chicken. My Wife warned me about this particular Popeyes and how Nightmarish the service IS! I understand why the employees attitudes were so terrible, their example is the manager of this store which was even worse than the employees she manages. Terrible experience!

I recently went to this location on 2/5/2015, and it was busy, drive-thru was full, so I decided to go in and eat inside. Ordered my food and sat down, everything looked fine, till I stirred my mash potatoes, and BOOOM! a dead roach pops up. I kept my composure and took my food back and requested a refund which I received, and was told that I was going to be contacted by the owner of the establishment, that has yet to happen yet. I took photos of the incident and walked out. NEVER again.

1st off, I absolutely love Popeyes but this particular location makes me not want to go. The employees are not pleasant especially in the drive thru and my food is always either cold or the meat just doesnt look good. I have to travel to a different location to get the real deal

I ordered the new magnolia chicken I was so upset too find out I paid 3.99 for not even a nugget this is false advertising on the commercial it shows 3 or more pieces of chicken when you purchase it its 1 plus sides so you pay for sides I will never go to Popeye ever again

This is the last Popeyes I would go to. I rather drive to countryside than come here. The food is ok but the waiting time is very long! The worse part is their workers. They are so rude and ignorant!!! Its called customer satisfaction.

So i just moved here anx was getting dinner. This place had NOTHING. WAITED more than 20 mom for my food. They didnt have any mac no ice tea and lemonade .i can see why the rating is so low. I might give it another shot.
