My experience at Weber was a very mixed bag of nuts. The evening started on quite a sour note as apparently my American flag shirt did not live up to the dress code established by this facility. The sequence went as follows: H: Lets go up front to get you a good shirt to wear. Me: Excuse me? H: You cant wear that shirt in here so come up front and we will give you one to wear. Me: No thanks, Ill just wear my jacket. H: Are you sure? Me: Yes... Now, in all fairness, had I known that Weber Grill had a dress code, I would have worn something a bit more formal, but with a name like Weber Grill, it doesnt exactly scream elegance. Either way, I found the start of this exchange to be quite annoying. Who is this person to tell me that my shirt isnt good enough? Guess the hostess just hates America. The food, however, was fantastic. I got a NY Strip Steak topped with roasted garlic and shallots, and it was wonderful. Its too bad that the food experience was tainted by such a terrible first impression. It boils down to the following: since I didnt feel welcomed at my own birthday dinner, Ill happily take my business elsewhere.

Good cheddar spread and pretzel rolls! Decent steaks, burgers, or ribs cooked on large Weber kettle grills. Wish there was a better steak selection, not the best quality meats, but the food was decent. My steak was nearly half fat, but the sides and drinks and friendly staff made up for it. This is not a place that I would specifically go for steaks... Ive eaten much better steak in the Oakbrook/Lombard area, but for burgers and ribs (backyard bbq style) the food and prices are fairly decent. I just wish that the steaks were much better quality, and also wish they had a much better steak selection on the menu. This is NOT the place that I would recommend for a delicious steak dinner, nor a fancy family meal, but if you are traveling or staying in an Oakbrook hotel (Courtyard Marriott - Oakbrook) and looking for a casual happy hour drink special, or a delicious backyard burger or ribs, cooked on a Weber Kettle Grill, then this is the place to go! Food is good, prices are reasonable. Good place for Happy Hour, very good desserts and a decent drink menu!

We had been to this restaurant several years ago and had a nice dining experience. This was not the case when we went out to celebrate my sons 30th birthday. The waiter came to the table to get our drink orders and left. We waited for about 20-30 minutes and had to ask him to take our orders. The appetizers were good. The flavored lemonades used syrup instead of fresh fruit to flavor them (not good for the this price range restaurant). The wait for the food was about an hour. Way too long! Half of the meals were good and half were terrible. My med rare steak came back blonde on the outside and medium on the inside. It looked like the steak had been cooked in the oven. The crab oscar on the top was inedible. The crab was mushy and pulled from a can. The rise on one plate was mush and the other plate was hard. We informed the management that the food was below standards and they did try to appease us but I would strongly discourage going here. There are better places for a good steak. Never go here!!

I dont typically rate places, but when I do, you can bet, its because Ive really enjoyed the place. I tried this place from the recommendation of a friend and colleague. I resisted going to a bbq place due to me being very particular on my bbq. Im from south Texas and have even competed in brisket contests.. I took a chase and went to this location. The brisket that I ordered was great! Now keep in mind, I have yet to find a bbq joint in south Texas that meats my expectations. This is the closest Ive come to date (although not in Texas). The flavor profile, sticky zesty bbq sauce, great smoke flavor, and tenderness was perfect. (Its difficult to match the texture, its either too dry, or chewy. This brisket here struck a perfect ballance.) The only thing I would like to see, is the fact that there was very little smoke ring. But the flavor more than made up for anything that could be visually off. All in all great beer, great food, great service.. Couldnt ask for more.

First time at Weber grill and not a good experience at all. The host was very cold and uninviting and took a long period of time to get us seated. (It was 2:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday, not a busy Saturday dinner service.) The pretzel bread offered at the table wasnt very nice but we were hopeful the main courses were going to be better. Our server was upbeat and friendly but unfortunately forgetful and rang in 2 incorrect entrees. My guest didnt even want her entree after waiting so long and our server was apologetic but never offered anything to keep her from sitting alone while the rest of us ate. My other guest settled for his entree despite being something he didnt order. We collectively decided to ask for our check and left unhappy with the food and the service in general. Lombard has many fine restaurants and unfortunately Weber grill is not one of them. Will not be returning.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Made a reservation on open table through Google Maps. However, once I arrived the table was not prepared. Not a big deal as the other half of our party was not there yet. The food tasted amazing and came in large portions. My wife ordered the southwest fish taco and couldnt finish it. It came with three large tacos and a decently sized side salad. I ordered the NY strip. I was not disappointed, 14oz. of delicious served with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. There was a hiccup in the ordering through the wait staff. I had ordered a Caesar salad and did not receive it, it was also not placed on our ticket so Im not sure if our waiter wrote it down. It was no big deal as the steak was large enough and I probably wouldnt have been able to finish it if I had received a salad.

The establishment was clean and leaning towards up-scale - but not completely due to the Weber theme and due to my table being wobbly which took away from my impression. The service was acceptable as the poor parts (long absence of our waiter for a period and a not so friendly food runner) matched the good (our waiter was friendly and a mistake on our food was taken care of properly). As for the food, I only enjoyed my entree and the bread. We ordered 3 appetizers and everyone got a dessert on top of entrees, so in total I sampled 10 different menu items. The three entrees I tasted were good along with the bread, but the 6 other foods (spinach artichoke dip, onion fries, crab cake, cheesecake, creme brulee, and a berry cobbler) were okay. All around not worth the price - which was expensive.

Went here on a Saturday night with 8 pm reservations for nine people. The host said we would get a text when in the table was ready and we moved to the bar. The bartenders ignored us for almost 10 minutes while we stood at the bar and when we finally were helped, the bartender was cold and short. One of the drinks was made incorrectly and she was not apologetic. We then waited in the lobby and after 25 minutes, the host asked us our names, walked away, and we continued to wait for our table. When we finally were seated, the atmosphere in the dining room was the exact opposite. Our waiter was so personable and the servers were very accommodating! Food was also very delicious. I wish I could give a 5 for our dining experience, but the front of house and bar staff soured our night to start.
