Its isnt chance that home cut donuts has been open for 50 years. Their selection rivals what you would find at Dunkin Donuts or your local grocery store but the quality is certainly on another level. When donuts are being prepared it is always through a glass window to your left. Youll oftentimes see the bakers kneading fresh dough for a new batch. There are also a lot of unique flavors and types of donuts such as the cherry cake donut or the honey glazed donut. The atmosphere is absolutely lovely with a very quaint antique diner vibe thanks to a counter you can enjoy their your food at. The Atmosphere felt very local in the sense that everyone seemed to know each other, and even if you didnt, you were welcomed as though you did. Home Cut donuts offers a variety of other foods and drinks such as coffee, cake pops and other specialties. I cannot recommend any place in recent memory for donuts more than I can Home Cut Donuts.

Yummy, sweet smell when you walk in the door!! Lots of different varieties and flavor combinations to choose from. I cant remember what the name of the one Ive tried so far, but it has vanilla pudding on the inside and powdered sugar on the outside. Omg, it is so very good!! You can taste each layer of dough for it was better than homemade!!! It doesnt taste too sweet or generic like Dunkin. Sorry but Dunkin is not very good compared to Home Cut Donuts!! Home cut is open 24 hrs and they remake donuts all day and night even if they have donuts left over from the batch before. I have only had their donuts twice within the last month but I cant say enough about the melt in your mouth flavor:) The young lady that was working was super sweet and helpful and she has worked there for 3 yrs. Give this place a try at all hrs of the day or night for you wont be sorry, you will be pleasantly surprised and happy:)

When I was little, I remember going here when it was a Mister Donut franchise. I would choose Home Cut over its competitor any day. I dont know if this place every closes because Ive been there at all hours of the night. Aside from all the traditional donuts, they have what they call a German Chocolate donut which is chocolate donut with toasted coconut. Its my favorite donut, and Home Cut is the only place that hasem. The place is like walking back in time, a favorite rest stop among locals. I love the place!

I was in Joliet on biz and located Home Cut on a search. I buy doughnuts for my training sessions and while I dont eat them myself, I really had an appreciation for Home Cuts. When you pick up a dozen, you notice their density and weight compared to the competitions, which are air-like. They were a big hit with the folks in my sessions and they will be with you, too.

My cousin amd his wife had you make over 300 donuts for their wedding and a giant donut for them to cut as Wedding cake. It was such a Great Twist. Even the Manager of the Venue asked for a card to put you on Preferred Vendor list...It was a total Hit and so DELICIOUS..Thank you for Making their Wedding Rememberable....

Whoever 1-starred Home Cut is insane. The angel cream eclairs are one of the most ridiculously delicious things on the planet. Anyone who thinks that Dunkin Donuts are palatable needs to stop here from some real donuts. The chocolate iced chocolate cake, blueberry cake, and bavarian cream donuts are all top notch.

This Doughnut & coffee shop is awesome, the doughnuts are made fresh, here everyday. The doughnuts & their fresh bakery items are so fresh & home made. A wonderful place to sit have,doughnuts, coffee, Bakery & read the News Paper. Home Cut Doughnuts has won several awards in a row.

Best coffee! They have a huge glass window that you can see into their kitchen and watch then make donuts! A dozen or so seats inside, very cool place with fresh donuts!
