Yesterday I witnessed a rare occurrence at this restaurant and I feel that this was disrespectful. I was there yesterday with my mother to order some food and realized we showed up about 30 minutes before they closed. So when we ordered everyone was in a rush and appeared they were trying to get as much done as they possibly can so they dont have to stay after the restaurant closes. I get it, but our kind waitress took a nasty fall going back into the kitchen. I felt horrible for poor women. I heard commotion in the back and I could hear her wanting to go home after the fall she had taken. Which seemed reasonable because our waitress appeared to be in her early 50s, COMPLETELY stressed out, had cuts on her arms, and was limping. They told her no AND kept having her work! She brought us our food and to be honest my mother and I were a bit outraged. So we walked as with others in the restaurant. We told the management a couple things then it escalated so we left. I have never been so outraged at going to a restaurant. I have never seen that kind of treatment. They have no right to treat that waitress that way. In my opinion if an employee gets hurt while working, especially if they have been working there for so long, an employer should take care of them. Now I will not be going back to this restaurant or the one located in Homer Glen. I will go out of my way to tell others to stay away from these restaurants. Ill just go somewhere else for now on. Its sickening and its horrible.

Horrible food, poor service. Cheeseburger tasted like gravel and paper. While I was eating it I kept spitting out what appeared to be cooked pieces of paper. Then I realized I had been eating the paper that separates frozen hamburger patties. The fries appeared to be from cheap green potatoes, yes they appeared to be fresh cut, but from cheap potatoes. Husbands ham and cheese omelet was very dry, his potatoes were just warm they were nasty, and cooked on a dirty grill. When the waitress brought our food she shoved my soup bowl / plate toward my husband saying"oh sorry, Ill move that in a minute" the corn bread that came with the soup was ice cold When we first walked in after climbing the stairs because the handicapped ramp hadnt had the snow and ice removed from it from two days ago. We were hit with the smell of cigarette smoke coming from the office. Dont waste your time eating here. Its over priced for garbage food

My Family has been coming to Blueberry Hill since they opened. Weve been twice this week and the first time there was a piece of hair in my skillet and today there was a piece of foil in my sandwich and my sisters burger (we asked for medium) was cooked medium rare, almost completely rare. Then one of the waitresses had the audacity to come up to our table and say that medium is supposed to look completely pink? And to order well next time.. Even though the burger was super rare. She wanted to act like we dont know what medium looks like on a burger even though thats all she ever orders. Typically i am not the type to complain about a restaurant or service because i have worked in restaurants for the past 5 years, I hate to do this but our visit today drew the line. We will not be returning for some time.

food was ok. service was great...server was plesent and very sweet. had everything i needed before i asked. saw owner not very nice to waitresses. If he is gonna treat his girls like this, should be done in private...I have been a server for years and i would not tolerate being talked to how these girls were talked to by boss and bosses mother...if i went back it would be just to have great service.

We went on a Saturday morning ariund 10. Service was extremely slow. The waitress kept coming back to the table because she forgot to give us what we asked for. Had ro wait 20 minutes after the meal for the check. Went to the bathroom and it was deplorable! I left! Didnt use the restroom told my husband Id meet him at the car. I felt dirty and needed sanitizer. Will not be going back!

5/28-Not really clean, floors were dirty, cups had lipstick and utensils had stuck on food. Instead of 4 people working the register and hostess stand, 1 or 2 of those ladies should have been helping the 1 busser keep the place swept and tables cleaned. Im sure that 1 busser was, also, responsible for loading and unloading the dishwasher. Better management is needed.

Ive been there three times for breakfast. Service was fine, but I expected better quality food. I had to specify my sausage well done. Whats the deal with serving half cooked pork? I thought trained cooks knew better than that. Plastic, dirty glasses and half-washed silverware every time I went. Ill never go back.

The server had an attitude! It may have been because of my race! Her attitude with the family behind me was completely different! But besides that, the menu selections are nice but custom oder pancakes and french taost dont even come with sides! Very weird in my oppionion! But service was fast at least!

Ordered the veggie omelette and was pleased with the promptness of the kitchen staff. However, this omelette was not very tasty. It was rather dry, and just left me more disappointed than anything. I may give them another shot in the future, but I wish I wouldve cooked breakfast at home on this day.

DONT STAY HERE, THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!!!!! The staff is disrespectful and rude. poorly maintained rooms. Wall mounted lamp fixtures loose and almost falling off the wall. No silverware in the kitchen . That was an awful experience and we will never stay here again. Dont make the mistake we did.

I frequent this place as much as possible, as do several people i know. Its a pancake house, and their pancakes are excellent. My only complaint is they close at 3pm every day. Good prices, good food, good atmosphere. As a matter of fact... Im about to walk out the door to go eat there.

I would give the pancakes & turkey sausage five stars as they were great, but Im not a fan of the "hash browns"- they were cold and bland! Eggs were okay. Cute site/ambiance, but the outside tables need to be replaced (really wobbly). Staff was nice.

I went there last fall and ordered breakfast. The sausage links were served to me half done. I sent them back. They came back and by that time my eggs etc., were cold,, I asked for my money back, got it and left. I will never go there again.

This place has good food. Our family came and had breakfast on Saturday morning & we enjoyed the food. The only issue we had was that the booths were small and the waitress was a little slow. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves.

Great place. My kids love it and theyre quick with to go orders. Nice place to dine when family is in town. However, the manager isnt as friendly to his staff when theres no one really in the restaurant in the early hours.
