The food is excellent and delicious, and seems to be very authentic Serbian/Balkan fare. Some of our favorites are the burek (Balkan pie), shopska (salad) and the urnebes (spicy cheese spread -- as well as the excellent breads. Most staff seem to be Serbian. They speak English, but often with strong accents. Their manner is not that of typical American wait staff in a corporate "flair" restaurant, but they are very nice when you are friendly with them and patiently work through the issues of understanding each other. We think this restaurant is quite fun, and we often use it also for carryout dinners.

Water served warm, no ice. Have eaten there twice, Ceaser cix salad, first time so much dressing tossed into salad could hardly stomach, second time there ordered it on the side. Salad came out with about two cups of 1/4" cubed croutons tossed into it, took me 10 min to pick them out. First time only a few on top, like it should be. Owner walking through restaurant with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth kind of a big turn off too. Not once was I asked how the food was, but by the pile of croutons sitting on a little plate, should have been obvious. Will not return.

What to say...the food is great,but PART of the personal Su_k. There is no chance to get a meal without to get nervous.Theyll bring the meat,but all the other things that youve ordered like urnebes,red roasted pepers etc.theyll bring at the end,after you eat the meat so you dont want them anymore,you just need to pay for them. Other thing is that you seat outside,the waitress bring you 1 bear with the meat,and thats all you can get,for the next 45 minutes till getting the receipt,shes gone,if you want another better stand up and go to the bar...

The food at Stefans is delicious. Full of flavor, fresh ingredients and well prepared. Ambiance is charming with a lovely patio when its warm out. Staff is very kind and inviting. Check out some great live music on certain nights if you like a festive, fun time. If you cant take a trip to Europe this spring, at least you can relax with a nice dinner at an authentic Serbian restaurant and feel like youre abroad (minus the lines at passport control). Love it!

Even though the menu is limited, the food is delicious. However, the service is horrible. There is no sense of invading personal space when serving, they will even climb over your head, and not to mention their closing routine that is literally chasing you out. Number one tip if you go there : do not pay until you have to leave. Otherwise, once the server got her money, she comes and collects everything from the table. Pathetic, rude and very primitive.

Location is not ideal but breakfast is excellent. Very excited to come back for lunch/dinner. Interior is very nice, on the smaller side but great. Quality of the food was great - had a farm fresh taste. Second time around and the European Breakfast (sandwich & yogurt) was just as amazing. A MUST HAVE. The only reason for no 5th star is I have yet to try something other than breakfast... soon to come.

Kristina ans some other girls are very mean we are a company next door order food every other day but its always missing something or its a problem for the waitress to take separate payments , very bad costumer service only nice guy is the bar guy always asks if want something to drink while waiting for our Cary out ...this place has good food but needs a over haul for staff a must

When the place first opened i could say it was an ok place! later on i believe they changed their cooks or whatever but food started to be more cheap looking and tasting BUT MORE EXPENSIVE! I wouldnt recommend this place for dinning in with family or friends. The bar is ok, but all the staff are stuck up and rude! Never returning!!

Food was pretty good. This place has European style service! For Americans that means slow and inattentive. But I found them to be just fine. Dont sit down if you dont have time to eat. I would return and have recommended to friends.

Food is good, but service is horrible. Waited for 15 minutes to be greated at the table and get menus, in a not so busy restaurant, none of the staff seemed like they cared, and most of the time servers were chatting.

4 months ago it was amazing food. Even brought a friend who has never tried Balkan food and he loved it, now, i wouldnt touch it with a 10 foot pole. Change your ways Stefans before you close down for good.
