I have to say this place is "okay". It could be better. The food is great and worth stopping in again and again; thanks to the great delicious food the cooks make. But the service here is not my favorite. I cannot tell you how long the wait to be seated is on a weekend. Or how awful the service is when its toned down. I found myself waiting for food to the point I almost walked out in two different occasions. Or when I stepped to the washroom to wash my hands and my food disappeared from my table. But the list goes on. They have improved but timing is everything to get great service.

Service was horrible. The strawberry lemonade was too tart, so we got it changed to the Tea, well that was even worse! So the 3rd time we got a Dr Pepper. As the waitress was walking it out of the kitchen we clearly heard her say to her co-workers,"here goes the 3rd try!" She was very rude and when called out on her comment she then tried to make it sound as if she was saying it nicely.. umm NO not with the attitude we had been getting from her the entire visit. She definitely shouldnt be a waitress and they need to learn how to make lemonade and tea!

Its was freezing cold in the place we said something and it seemed to only get colder. It literally took close to an hour for our food to come out... and the wait staff didnt even apologise or offer anything for the wait. This must be typical for this location... and the food certainly was not worth a dime, Came out cold gee I wonder why!! And one order was wrong. I wish I could say it was busy but it was 1am and there was only maybe three other table occupied

Service was slow-- but honestly what service was there? There was barely any service at all! The waiter would go around to this one table and talk while my table would wait a whole meal later to get a refill on water! Pancakes were the same as usual, but ordered a 55+ pot roast and it was extremely salty. Mashed potatoes was salty, beef was salty, sauce was extremely salty, and even the "sweet" corn was salty! Really disappointing...

Had lunch on Monday. Place was really really dirty. Seats were sticky, garage on the floor etc. it was only noon and they were out of French fries!!! We had the steak omelet and patty melt with onions rings (no fries). The food was good. Water tasted terrible!!! Service was nice. Wont go back we will got to the one on Barrington Road, Hoffman Estates instead.

We went to Ihop for dinner on a Monday. Normal it is a great place to go. But....There was a white trash guest there yelling at a server. The server blew and started throwing things. The cook and other servers told the white trash woman that they didnt want to loose her as a customer. Really?! Put the trash out and keep your good coustomers.

We came in at around 2am on 2/11. We dont like being those people who get food at 2am, but we couldnt find another place to accommodate. Food was good, but who was really good was our hostess/server. She was so kind, accomodating, and very attentive; this is hard to find anywhere, let alone at 2am. She deserves a raise!

Food taste rushed and unenjoyable. Eggs had SO much cheese on them. The Vanilla iced coffee was unbelievably overbearing! Yuck! The staff was extremely nice, but that only gains so many stars. it was pretty clean in the establishment as well. Maybe if the food gets better, Ill consider going there more often.

Service very slow and it was not busy at all. Waited half an hour for a hot cocoa that the waitress never brought :( manager saw us at the front desk ready to pay and made us wait five minutes. Dont waste your time going to this IHop, not worth it. Very bad experience and of course we didnt leave any tip :(

Food was good. Had to wait a few minutes to be seated, but nothing terrible. Bathroom was mostly clean. Had to flag down the waitress a few times, I think she forgot about us a couple of times, but she was still pleasant! Overall an "ok" experience, but its to be expected at a greasy spoon!

Service was very slow. Very understaffed. and our server Gretchen was mean. She gave us attitude, back talked, and dirty looks. If she is my server again Ill find a different ihop because thats just rude. And I had two small children with me and their grandma. Uncalled for!

Id say about half of the staff is not quite friendly. A few times ive been there and got seated the tables were filthy still waites about 10-15 minutes nobody even came to serve us or take our drink order. They mess up on our meal order about every single time we go.

The service was pretty good. I got the Chorizo omelette, and my server knew all of the ingredients. I had briefly mentioned that I was lactose intolerant, but forgot to tell them "no cheese or sour cream". The waiter still did it for me! Thank you Dan!

Last year (2016) I went here the service was bad and the food was cold. We wait a very long time for our food and the staff was not friendly. This year was so.much better. They have redeemed themselves by having friendlier wait staff and good food.

Walked in around 9:50 am with a group of 6. Took our order within 10 minutes, came with our food around 10:55 am. Messed up 1 of the dishes. Pop was flat, came with another round saying they fixed it and didnt. Most likely will not return.

Food definitely looks better than it tastes. Very middle of the road, service is not always great. Our waiter didnt write a single thing down that we ordered and messed out whole experience up, would not recommend.
