Used to be our favorite restaurant when we first moved to Aurora five years ago. It has changed so much! The prices are fair, the menu has a good variety of things but the food has consistently gotten worse. My final visit was when I received burned pancakes. To be the pancake house and serve anything other than superb pancakes is mind boggling. Like that if anything should be the best. Not only did the cook plate them but the server served them, you could immediately smell how burned it was when the plate was set down. Yes the pancakes where replaced by ones only a smidge better. The burgers used to be really good and are also now mediocre. So tragic too cause I loved patronizing a local restaurant.

Waited an hour for our food. The people who sat down 45 minutes after us got their food before we did. Then when we finally got it they took at least ten minutes in between each persons meal to finally bring it all out. When asked why the other people got their food before we did they explained it was a "big order and theyre really busy" but we didnt even have to wait for a table and we ordered 3 childrens pancakes and 2 adult breakfast meals. Sad because I read online all the good reviews but was very disappointed in the service.

While the atmosphere is a lot like the diners in Chicago and leaves something to be desired, the food, prices, and excellent staff more than make up for the interior design. Any place that serves perfectly-cooked eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and toast with coffee for under $10 gets at least four stars from me, regardless of the atmosphere. And as I said, the staff here is uber-friendly, very fast, and always smiling. Nice folks, great breakfast food (order the hash browns as "crispy." You wont be disappointed), and great prices.

The place is a bit sketchy and run down looking. The owner is reasonable and seems nice, but all the food that I had today tasted like it had been sitting out waiting for someone to order it. Not fresh. Not hot. The bacon tasted good but was not hot. The biscuits and gravy were mediocre. The French toast wasnt anything special. My Wife hated it. Overall I am not happy. The price was okay, otherwise I would have only given one star, and after I gave the owner my feedback, I received 50% off.

First time I came to this place was a little skeptical from the way it looks from outside, but man was I wrong. This place has some good food. If you have a picky eater I wouldnt worry to much since the menu is about 6 pages long no joke. My friend and I loved the food. Oh and let me not forget price was crazy cheap.

I ABSOLUTELY love the food here! I was born and raised on this place and everytime we come back to Illinois we eat here. This is the first time however that we have gotten bad service and it was really disappointing. I hope that whatever made our servers morning bad gets better.

One of the best pancake houses in the area. We go there periodicly. Food is good and reasonably priced. Never had a bad experience guest servise wise. They have the best frys out there. I will keep visiting this restaurant

I had the country skillet, every bite was an explosion of flavor, fantastic staff, always ready to refill my coffee, great atmosphere, portion sizes were huge with cheap prices. Definitely a place I will go again.
