I write reviews either when i really think a place or person stands out or when something was terrible. This is the latter. I appreciate the "anti-inflammatory " diet but my appreciation stops there. Checked in for reservations at 6, so not very busy yet. hostess very nice. But she kept looking for her counterpart to seat us. After 5mins of standing there she finally just sat us since her colleague never came back. Once seated, 5-10 mins before anyone came to offer drinks/water. Two servers came but never got their names. Not sure who was training whom until we all ordered. Then female speaks up to ask how kids burgers shld be cooked and what side other order wanted. After apps, male waiter and busboy cleared plates. Waiter said he wld bring my kids new utensils, never did; I had to ask female waiter during entrees since kid cldnt eat yet. Busboy cleared app plates over my head, plates shifted and I reacted like they wld drop on me. He explained twice how that cld never happen but never apologized. Regardless, who removes plates over a patrons head?!! Entrees came in timely manner and kitchen did good job but only confirmed not busy yet. Never was chked on afterward even tho sat right in front of kitchen window so cld see our waitstaff the entire time. Had to wave one down to ask for condiments, aforementioned utensils, and water refills when glasses completely empty. Again, there were 2 of them! By the way, dont get the lasagna. Spinach was not cooked consistently, crunchy on some bites, soggy on others. Way too salty. May be anti-inflammatory but not anti-hypertensive!

Overall: For a healthy and hearty meal it doesnt get much better than this! The good:"Earthy","organic","natural"...whatever words you want to use. You know what youre getting into here. And, its all delicious. The menu covers plenty of options (all sounded amazing) from salads, bowls, sandwiches, entrees, apps, custom drinks. My entire table all got different items and we all loved it. The ancient grains bowl that I had was top notch; the glaze, sauces, and ingredients were great. Portions are "healthy" and I left full and happy. Service was friendly and the atmosphere is clean and "trendy". The not-so-good: A little pricey. The entire restaurant was a little loud which may off put some people. Atmosphere: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Food: 9.5/10

Im not vegan, but I was blown away by the number of options they had that sounded delicious. I ended up getting the Heirloom Tomato pizza which had black truffle ricotta on it and it was so good I forgot I was eating vegan. This restaurant has really cool interior decor and open up their walls to an outdoor seating area in the front. The prices were pretty standard for Chicago brunch but I did end up spending more than I expected. I think it was worth it though, still had a couple slices left that still tasted good as leftovers!

I came here for my birthday and had a great experience. They brought me the wrong drink on accident, so they gave me that one for free and brought the one I ordered as well. The hummus was great. Also ordered the soup and a couple of the bowls. Everything was excellent. We ordered the key lime pie for dessert, and they put a candle in it. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, even though they were super busy (and perhaps understaffed...). Definitely recommend!

LOVED EVERYTHING! I stopped by one afternoon initially just to look over the menu and ended up getting some ginger tea that was outstanding. I came back the same day for dinner and had the halibut appetizer (melted in my mouth), the lasagna bolognese (excellent and filling without being heavy), some Spanish red wine, and the flourless chocolate cake (phenomenal, soft and most). Our server, Julia, was knowledgeable and charming! You should definitely check this place out!

Delicious curry bowl with quinoa, potatoes, bok choy, coconut shrimp broth, carrots and some other bits of deliciousness. Their Kombucha was excellent. Tried flourless chocolate cake and key lime pie. Both gluten free, and vegan I believe. So tasty and healthy. I would eat here often if it was a bit cheaper. Beautiful open layout. Service was great! We sat in Walters section, a knowledge and charismatic server.

Friendly and attentive staff, with a very large dining area and open-air kitchen. Lively environment (a bit loud, so be cautious on that) with plenty of bar area and first-come high tops for seating. Edamame dumplings for starters were fantastic and you cant go wrong with the bowl options. Highly recommend checking this place out for a healthy spin on a dinner out. Full bar options available, also.

Unexpectedly great food! With Sweetgreen & Chicago Raw nearby & this place being labeled "American" cuisine, I didnt have high expectations, but the food was great & the server pretty amazing. Very knowledgeable about what goes into the good, menu items are clearly labeled if you have dietary restrictions. Will definitely have my repeat business.

Simply amazing! The food was too good and they have very healthy yet tasty options. I ordered a pizza which had a perfect crust (thin and crispy) and a lot of flavor. I walked around to checkout the kitchen and the bar and it seemed like they were using fresh vegetables and other ingredients for all the preparation including your cocktails.

Nice lunch, started with the immunity soup; garlic, onion, carrot, mushroom, intense but very good for you. Enjoyed the ARTISAN grains dish, with miso glazed carrots, snap peas, cilantro pumpkin seed pesto, very tasty. The server was very attentive and pleasant. The space is well designed, large and pleasant to sit in. Will return.

Its a bit too touristy to my liking but does the job for good enough Chinese food. Not too greasy and not too much msg but not incredibly authentic. Maybe grease and msg is what makes Chinese food lol. We enjoyed the Peking duck, fried rice, hakau, steamed fish in ginger. Very packed on weekend nights so make a reservation!

Oh yes, this is the place to be if you like living green. Im not the most consciously healthy eating person but what I did eat could make me a convert. I enjoyed a turkey wrap sandwich and crunchy kale greens. I had no idea how delicious it could be. Cant wait to go back and try another dish. So should you!

I am truly obsessed with this place. Every single dish is outstanding. You wont be disappointed. Their Bloody Mary is the best Ive ever had in my life. The dishes are healthy, but still extremely satisfying. The portions are enough to fill you up, but not enough to leave you in a food coma, which is nice! 10/10

Food was OK and dry. Healthy food doesnt need to be boring , especially in a restaurant. Over priced restaurant. Few choices. Also forgot my phone over there and when returned after 10 mins, it was gone. Probably somebody stole it. Charges like a upscale restaurant but doesnt provide services like one

This was our first experience and I cant say enough good things about this place. The lasagna was delicious and the flourless chocolate cake was satisfying. Our waiter was so patient and Oder great suggestions from the menu. I would highly recommend this restaurant for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Wow I dont have enough words for this place. What a treat for a vegetarian trying to eat healthy while traveling. The food was amazing, delicious, and exciting. Quality is unmatched and customer service and friendly staff are top notch. Will be eating dinner here every night I am in Chicago.
