Ive known and loved Go 4 Food for quite a long while. This is probably one of my favorite spots in Chinatown and a definite go-to when taking the family out for dinner. Ive never had a bad visit here. Some dishes Ive had havent been memorable but the ones that are get my taste buds salivating just thinking about them. Both of my Asian parents love this spot and so do I. A family favorite is the giant clam (when its in season and available). The clam is removed from the shell, cooked perfectly, sliced, then returned to the shell for plating with this fantastic soy sauce based deliciousness. I could come and order *just* this with bowls of rice. I could but I wouldnt since Ive not yet had everything on the menu and I love to taste all that I can. Other highlights have been the fish fillet in premium soy sauce and the french beef. Unless I come at an off time, this place is always hoppin. I guess the secret is out. This place is friggin good!

In the top 3 best places to eat in China Town. Excellent hot and sour soup or Tom Yum soup. Winter is right around the corner, and we love getting their soups (either dine in or take out). Everything on their menu is memorable. Milo, the owner is a pleasure to talk to and is extremely knowledgeable about his business, food, and customers. If you are on dietary restrictions, be sure to let him know a head of time. He has accommodated us when dining with a gluten free guest. You really cannot go wrong coming here......as I write this I am starting to crave their Hot & Sour soup.

People laugh at me when I say this - because of the name, mostly - but this is the best American-style chinese food in Chinatown. Im not going to claim authentic flavors form the motherland - because Im not Chinese - but the food here is shockingly good in its own right. The best is the French-style Beef Tenderloin (so deceptively good) and the Hundred Spiced Chicken. This spot also delivers so its great for upgrading a movie night. Heck, bring it to your next potluck and tell people you made it. Its so unlike regular chinese food flavors that they may believe you. ;-)

I was hyped to visit this place after reading the reviews, but this turned out to be nothing but an over-hyped, over-priced experience. The first time we visited, the place was packed & we were hungry, so we moved on. The second time, they were basically completely empty. The service was mediocre, the food mediocre, the prices astronomical for Chinatown. The one thing theyve got going for them is that theyre one of the few places that serve egg waffles. However, at that price & the fact that they were burnt, I think Ill wait until the next time I visit Hong Kong to get some.

We did delivery from this place for dinner on the weekend. It was pretty fast, even though they said it will take about 45min to an hour due to crispy chicken takes time. it was about 30mins total. Wow...delicious....We ordered; Beef chow fun : Absolutely amazing... French style beef: pretty good Crispy chicken: good, bit salty Fried shrimp in salted egg york: good, but we may order with shell next time We will dine in next time and also try their tea time hour 3pm-5pm. There are reason this place has 4 stars!

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in China town. They have excellent French style beef, and pretty much excellent everything else. Chow ho fan is awesome here too. The hot and sour soup is also good. I dont like the egg-battered shrimp that people keep talking about. They have really good take out service too (they are fast!) I ordered $70 worth of food last weekend and they prepared everything under 15 mins. All ingredients used is super fresh and meal comes piping hot!

Came here due to a recommendation on yelp. The place was fairly small. We ordered the millionaire style seafood fried rice and the French style beef tenderloin. Didnt know what to expect when we ordered the seafood fried rice and it was surprisingly soupy. I particularly wasnt a fan of the dish. The french style beef tenderloin was very good as it tasted similarly to beef steak. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would come here again.

Great Chinese food. Got take out once and ate in twice. All times for dinner. Fantastic service and even better food. The orange chicken and Hong Kong style noodles are favorites. The egg drop soup is something my wife and I always have to get! French Style Beef (or something) was so good, recommended by the server! Its a great place to sit down and weve never had a wait. Very clean as well. Cant recommend enough!

We enjoyed the staff and the way that they explained the whole concept of the restaurant and the menu. The French-Style Beef Tenderloin was very tasty a little sweet to the taste but good. The sesame chicken was good also. The place is a little small so you may call ahead for a reservation if you can but the day we went we did not have to wait. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch at the restaurant.

My wife and I had a good meal at Go 4 Food just 15 mins before. I can not wait to write a review for them because there Wonton noodle soup is the best even in Chinatown. It makes me feel like home in Hong Kong. It includes 4 pieces of big Wonton with a lot of Shrimp and very fresh. Unbelievable price is only $2.50. The waitress told me that this promotion price is until the end of May.

The waitress was amazing. She was so friendly and knew the menu like the back of her hand. She suggested something that my boyfriend had not tried before and he loved it. (French style beef tenderloin). I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it was easily the best that I have ever had. I am so glad we chose to try this restaurant tonight. Food is a little pricy, but worth it.

We really enjoy this restaurant every time we come. We travel from Park Forest . Sometimes just for the food. Love the green beans(with or without the pork), the smelt, the silver fish, and salt and pepper fish fillet. Today we also enjoyed the mixed mushrooms in Japanese pumpkin. Definitely a place to try it you like fresh good authentic food...

$5 lunch specials!! Can you tell I love good, cheap food?? I usually come here on Sundays and it can get busy during lunch so make sure you call ahead and reserve a table. They also have seating downstairs but I think they reserve that for big parties. The service is quick and food is delicious and hot. Come to Chinatown for cheap food!

I went to this place with some friends for lunch, and apparently this place is listed as a Michelin-guide recommended restaurant. They had a good selection of cantonese-southern chinese style cuisine, and overall good experience. Good lunch menu too, where u can get an entree and drink for $5. service is like any chinese place -- bleh.
