1 star for customer service. My family and I had the same waitress for both of our visits. The first visit was in February and the 2nd and final visit was on weds November 25,2015. On our first visit it was only my husband and I and the waitress was really rude and rushed us through our lunch. So I gave the place a 2nd chance thinking maybe the waitress was just having a bad day. This last visit was for my sisters birthday and it was ruined by this same waitress. She was rude and asked us to leave because my sister was taking too long to order so we left. We took long to sit because my mother is physically disabled and walks with a cane due to Gillian bare syndrome so the waitress was already upset with us. I just want to share my experience because it happened twice and Im shocked this waitress is still employed there.

Parking was easy, across the street in a parking lot for free or on the street with a meter. The wait was a tad bit long but with popularity I was surprised we didnt wait longer that the 10-15 mins that we did. No place to sit but someone must wait in line to not lose a spot, (or from what we assumed) got seated. Attended to quickly and served in a timely manner. The food was delish and the service great! The only thing that made me slightly uncomfortable is the upkeep of the restaurant. It use some love and maybe a refresher, and Im sure the kitchen would need some loving too but I would come again when Im in town. Food and service straight 5 stars, no place to wait & the image is why I gave this place a 4(I would have done 4.5 if possible)

Ambiance and food looked great. To bad I didnt get to enjoy it. I was with a group of 3. Several groups of 2, who arrived after were sat ahead of us. Thats understandable even though some of the tables were right next to each other. Then a group of 3 got up and I was sure we were about to be seated. I was wrong a group of 5 with there names on the list after ours was seated. We continued to wait. I was 100% sure we would be seated next. Well I was wrong again. Another group of 3 was seated ahead of us. When we questioned why they were seated before us they said "we normally dont make reservations, but they had reservations." We left. First time I ever walked out on a restaurant. Very very truly dissapointing experience.

So excited to try Sweet Maple based on so many great reviews. Coffee was terrific and service was attentive and friendly. The hostess did a terrific job managing the many folks waiting on a cold and snowy morning. The multigrain toast was tasty. Unfortunately the rest of the breakfast was really disappointing-potato dishes were likely made from frozen cubes and were over-salted; corned beef was strongly flavored with Worcestershire amid the potato cubes; "special" salmon cakes were almost gray inside and did not resemble any salmon Ive ever seen. Poached edges were cooked close to hard, not the medium the wait person confirmed when she took our order. Really wanted to love this place-decided we will not go back.

The food Ill give 5 stars but the waiters and vibe is just really poor, I asked for the corner table by the back and they wouldnt give us the table simply because they said its for partys of 6 or more. I didnt mind till 3 white people came in and they rite away sat them at that table I had asked for. Then every time I asked for coffee or something we needed they would take so long to get it, idk was it because we look Mexican but I sure didnt like the way they attended us. Even tho the waiter was Hispanic too. Btw it was around 1:00, which is around closing time and they still dragged to attend us. First and last time Ill be going here, rather go to I hop then to be treated as an outsider.

I recently asked my girlfriend to marry me, while the sun rose over the city skyline. In preparation for this huge event, I called Sweet Maple and asked if they could prepare a very special breakfast for me. Without any hesitation, their staff went out of their way to prepare for us. At 7am, our table was ready with a white table cloth (normally their tables have burgundy table cloths), a reserved sign and beautiful red roses. They also prepared a special breakfast, including heart shaped pancakes and heart shaped biscuits. It was such a beautiful set up that my fiancé started to tear up when she sat down at the table. Food was delicious. Service was amazing. THANK YOU SWEET MAPLE!

As we were waiting for a table, a lady who had just eaten there came out and said it was one of the best breakfasts she ever had. Such a ringing endorsement! And I must say she is correct! I went with my lady friend and we split the Sweet Maple-Opolis omelette and the cinnamon roll pancakes. We each had a side of cheese grits. ALL of it was pretty amazing! The pancakes were the perfect amount of sweetness with that wonderful cinnamon flavor. The omelette was cooked perfectly with fresh ingredients. It was great!

-The little things really make this place. The side of fruit has its own little touch and the potatoes look and taste perfect. The little tacos are awesome! -The staff is really friendly, but Im not that social. They dont bother me too much. -Ask about their soup and sandwiches, they dont always give you the menu. -I go later in the day, theres no line. -Its a bit expensive, but Im always full. -I wish they had local coffee, but theirs isnt bad. I dont know how many other people would care about this.

I was lucky enough to come here right before they switched out their seasonal specials and was able to try the cinnamon roll pancakes! I loved that they werent too sweet or dense - absolutely perfect! I wanted to try some of their famous biscuits, but I was too full so I took some home for later and even reheated they were delectable! This is a perfect example of why you shouldnt judge a book by its cover - the exterior and even internal decor isnt indicative of how well they execute southern comfort food!

We got there on a day when the wait wasnt too long & when it wasnt too packed - thankfully, because this place is TINY! Too small for the amount of traffic. The french toast was good, but I was expecting a little more something...fruit garnish or something. The egg potato dish my friend had looked amazing. Pancakes were huge and okay, but I like a lighter (in color and texture) cake personally. Free parking in the lot across the street but ONLY UNTIL 3PM - enter through alley behind the bbq place.

Go - go early and go often. The only bad thing is that there is never enough seating. So there is normally a line and it does go fast but it is worth it so just relax. If it is cold have only one person wait - leave everyone else in a warm car. The food however is delicious. Pancakes - eggs - french toast - it is all worth trying. The staff is friendly and they know what they are doing. I am not a big fan of going on the weekend cause I do feel rushed - but weekday treat is the way to go.
