I have heard rumors of an Olive Garden opening soon but I couldnt believe it... I have been patiently waiting and hoping all rumors were true. At last I asked some one who knew and in fact yes it was an Olive Garden opening. I was very excited since I love Olive Garden, I mean who doesnt love Italian. At last one of my favorite top restaurants finally in Chicago. First time there 10/4/2014 and wow it was very crowded, waited 20 mins for a table but it was expected since the place just opened. We got seated and our waiter (I forgot his name) forgot to bring our bread which should come with the salad... a nice waitress asked if everything was good and we told her we didnt get our bread and she quickly brought them, next time Ill ask her name. The food was just the way I like it. Loved my caramel macchiato at 6pm after a long day. The food finally arrived and I flashbacked to when my friends and I use to go at Olive Garden. The steak toscano was delish and "well done" hehe. Next time Ill try the wine with my pasta alfredo. My sister was thrilled with just the breadsticks that she nearly finished all of them, told her they were more on the way. I loved the peppers that we in the salad though i wished I asked the waiter what they were called, they will go perfect on my pizza cause they had the perfect amount of sour which I love. The seasoning in the chicken fritta was amazing from my sisters pasta that I had to order one to go... and dessert well it was so much food that we couldnt finish neither the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake nor my Zeppoli so we took it to go. Overall stay was great... tables were nice and clean. The waiter did forgot my sisters drink and the bread though. But he gave us 2 dipping sauces for our dessert which was good. The the rest of the staff did greet us with a friendly smile and the mens bathroom was decently clean though it was quite small but didnt need to wait in any line which was perfect. I will be coming back very soon and check out the rest of the menu and hope I get my breadsticks though lol... the hostess (or I hope shes the hostess) gets bonus points for asking us how was our stay and she hopes she sees us again even though there we so much people... she had a certain charisma not many people posses I hope to see her again because she is a very soulful woman and I can read people very well... I swear she was from Louisiana.

"Utter, utter rubbish..." After ordering a glass of Malbec and being served Pinot Noir instead I wasnt expecting much from this establishment. I ordered steak, medium rare. And here it is, 15 minutes later: part of it completely raw, the middle medium well with the other part being medium. I know Olive Garden likes to think of themselves as a fancy restaurant, but it doesnt take rocket science to properly cook a steak. I have returned it. Five minutes later or so, here it is: part raw, part medium. It was kind of uncomfortable for me to return it again, but I did and asked for a medium instead. With the medium on the cooks mind, Im actually served what I wanted in the first place: medium rare. Not quite pleased though with this experience and the waiting time. The waitress "handled" me very well, she was very helpful, thats why Im giving it two stars, and surprisingly I wasnt charged anything extra for returning my plate like other people on here have been. Over all, Olive Garden is as Italian as McDonalds is an actual burger place - it just uses it for advertising purposes.

The smooth noodles and flavorful chicken in the Chicken Alfredo is the most satisfying dish they have there. The Gnocchi soup is a savory appetizer is creamy and i would recommend it. The service is acceptable if you go in its a short wait. Employees are quick when you ask for something even though the employees dont know the specials half of the time. The prices arent high and dishes are tasty, delicious, and go down smooth even if they give you huge proportions of food. The restaurant is clean and the aroma from the food and kitchen spreads around. The Chocolate Gnash Cheesecake is fluffy, flavorful, creamy, and is a yummy desert. The salad with the croutons, tomatoes, and Cesar dressing is an amazing appetizer. The cheese cake is a five. I would say that Olive Garden is the best restaurant Ive went to in my life. I would return to this Olive Garden because its service is great and food and price of it is worth it. I would give it 5 stars because of the amazing Chicken Alfredo.

From the wait times to the attitude of the waiters, Olive Garden is definitely a special restaurant. Olive Garden can be good at times but from personal experience I wouldn’t recommend going to Olive Garden. When I go to Olive Garden I wait a minimum of 45 minutes to be seated. Then on I wait another 10-15 minutes for a waiter to come by and when they do come around they don’t have the best attitude. Every time I’ve gone they’ve never failed to mess up my order. Whether it was by giving me someone else’s order or just flat out messing up my order. But then again this is just personal experience. Olive Garden’s food selections are very good and the prices are decent. The kids menu has many options and the food is good, the regular menu has many excellent food options. As well as appetizers which I recommend getting. I know this started off bad but Olive Garden is a pretty good restaurant to go to but only from personal experience I wouldn’t recommend it.
