I LOVE this spot. Its THE West Sides fried chicken. In comparison to Harolds chicken its like Westside vs Southside. But honestly, Ive had Harolds and its NOT as good as Uncle Reemus. Granted Uncle Remus has its shortcomings, e.g., they never have any sides BUT fries available. But if you dont go expecting anything but fried chicken and fries, youll be okay. And if you like Harolds and you like Uncle Remus.... I know of a Much better spot than both! Reply to this post and I will send you there. In fact, I may even go with you! :p

Always Hood and Always Good! Lol! You will see some stuff, hear some things and may even smell a little something before entering, but know that Everybody there is there for one thing... the food! :) People from all walks of life and those just trying to get by come for the food. I usually either order wings, no sauce or roll, a 4-5 piece. No complaints. Lets Do this! #Westside

The experience I had to day was beyond SAD the cashier SHARON was sooo rude, she dont even have customer service skills period. When when I walked in she didnt greet or let it be know she was ready to take my order. I asked her for a g-pan and she put the order in have me my change, but didnt inform me how much was my change. Before I could walk away my food was done

Food is great,idk if you guys will read this but the service is horrible,your cashiers always look and sound upset unless they know the customer,and the phone is worse,its always busy or your put on hold for over 3 minutes,like i say,the food is great but the service needs a makeover...

The food is good ,but like the other reviews say Customer service is horrible thats why I only come once a year. Its sad that Im pretty sure they see these reviews and nothing changes. We need to stop supporting any business with bad service.

This use to be one of the best chicken spots on the westside of Chicago. The price on this chicken had increased, but the taste has decreased. I brought some chicken from here recently and it tasted like grease. I was very disappointed.
