Ive been to this place multiple times and its been terrible every time. I always like to give places a second or third chance but this place has proven to be terrible every time Ive went. First of all, being busy is no excuse for terrible customer service. No one came to ask us if we wanted to order any food or drinks, we didnt even know who our waitor/waitress was the whole time we were there. We waited about 30-40 minutes before we got menus to order drinks and food. When we did decide what we wanted, we waiting another 20-30 minutes for someone to come ask us if we wanted to order anything. No one ever came to ask us so we waited for a waitor to come to a nearby table to ask for our order to be taken. When we did eventually catch someone to order drinks and food, they told us that they werent our waitor and that they would tell our waitor to come take our order. That person never went and told anyone to come take our order and we asked the same woman again who would take our order and she eventually ended up taking it. We never got our drinks that we ordered until the bartender came and asked us if we wanted anything to drink and we told her that we had ordered drinks but never got them. Once we were done with our food, they gave us containers for our leftovers but never came with the bill. We sat there waiting for our bill for 45 minutes which is ridiculous. They never came and asked us if we needed anything else or how the food was. We ended up going up to the bar to ask for our check so we can pay. Ill definitely be crossing this place off my list of places to go for food/drinks in Chicago. This is the worst customer service Ive ever had. I really hope they eventually go out of service because customers deserve better than this.

Great laid back covered patio and beautiful industrially decorated interior. Was a bit disappointed they have no weekly specials yet. (Went to Dunlays, down the street, last week and was so impressed with their Thursday $10 pitchers of Sangira special!) Their wines were all $9, which seemed a little steep for the area, and the pour size, at least maybe give a few choices. Cocktails are also all $9 and beer is un-priced on the menu. The Moscow Mule at $9 was delicious!! Menu consist of basic bar appetizers, tots, wings, pretzels and a surprise tostadas with shrimp. Sliders, Pizza, Tacos, Greens and Burgers & More round out the menu. Oh, and desserts, which consist of a Skillet cookie for $9 and a mini for $4, cant hate on that! We tried the Mahi Mani $12 and Classic Fish Tacos $10 - They were a good size and served with delicious homemade tortilla chips. I recommended getting a small side of guacamole for $1, its delicious! The tacos looked good and fresh with the addition of slaw or cabbage, but lacked any real pizaz. Everything was doable but I the spent $50 and dining alfresco, on a beautiful Chicago night, was the only memorable thing.

Food is not bad at all but the service was terrible, at best. Waited 35 min for a server to even acknowldge our existence. Finally got water and gave us 6 menus for 3 people? Not a big deal unless you end up with the smaller table in the bar. I love to go to bar to watch big sporting events. I assumed that a bar with this reputation would be showing the NBA western conference finals game 6 match. But instead they were showing a tennis match?!?! Again, not a big deal unless you ask them literally 4 times to change one of many tvs. Food was good but not great. The service was NOT GREAT. Waited for food, drinks and checks for at 45 min each. Noticed that the waitress was flirting with a customer while I waited for my food and bill for that long! Unacceptable for a bar of this type.

Not sure what happened with this place, as it used to be a reliable go-to for casual food and beers, but it has gone noticeably downhill. Most of the menu is now indistinguishable from Kirkwoods and perhaps other 4C bars. Food took over an hour to come out and it was cold. No one ever came around to ask if we wanted another drink and we had to walk up and grab the bartender to get our check. Disappointing since it used to be so reliably solid.

Baja fish tacos, ladies and gentlemen. These guys have a short menu, but thats not bad if it means they do it all right. I had the fish tacos, which were excellent, my brother enjoyed the steak sandwich, which he noted was cooked excellently, the Montana wrap (buffalo chicken) won positive reviews at the table, as did the pulled pork. Service was a little on the slow side. Beer selection is pretty good.

This place is a typical sports bar. The wings are pretty good and they have a beer selection you can expect from a sports bar (standard domestic beers and a couple craft beers). Things were going pretty well and then they played Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes. I got bored of that song in 2012. Besides that it was a pretty good experience. Would recommend if you like sports bars.

One of my favorite neighborhood bars, Gaslight has great daily dinner and drink specials like Tuesday $5 salads and glasses of wine. The turkey burger with thyme and brie and chimichurri fries will keep you coming back! They also serve brunch on the weekends that is equally delish. With an intimate atmosphere and classier bar menu, this place is perfect for date night or a casual bite.

I hadnt been to this location since they switched to Gaslight. The atmosphere was great for a large birthday party on a Friday night. They had a fairly good beer selection including several options from Revolution. They moved tables to the sides of the room to allow for a dance area, and featured a DJ that was fun and responsive to requests. I would definitely go back here again.

The Gaslight always has excellent service. Their menu, while pretty standardly Americana still does a good job at that. Out of all of the Four Corners bars, this one is the most suited for date night. Atmosphere is relaxed and sort of intimate. As for food, they strive to do more quality foods beyond just burgers. I recommend trying their wine on tap.

Absolutely LOVE Gaslight. Im here almost twice a week, which is sad. The outdoor space is nice and bright. Heated in the winter/ac with windows open in the summer. Great specials- my favorite is Tuesdays: $5 glasses/ $20 bottles of wine & half off wraps and salads. And Sunday: $10 bottle of champagne with a whole cute mimosa bar set up!

I liked the overall atmosphere last time I came for a drink. Just went online to look at their menu for tonight. Wish they would have more options for vegetarians. Besides mac and cheese, salad and the grilled cheese on the kids menu, there wasnt much. Adding a veggie burger to the menu would be super easy.

Whats not to love about this place?? The drinks are great, the food is even better, and the cookie skillet is to die for. Not to mention the service is great, even for a busy lunch hour on Saturday! I dont make it to Chicago often, but this will definitely be my go to stop everytime!
