DO NOT GO HERE!!! Used to be a good place about a year ago, but since all of the Good waitresses left ( Danielle, Kathy, and Jenny), all theyre left with is a poorly run staff by prejudice owners and you HAVE TO PAY to PARK ($2-$3) which they do not validate! Also heard first hand from one of their own people that they are in major violations of OSHA and Labor and Laws! I can truthfully say that Ive even seen Roaches near their Juice Machine! (and thats After they paid to have someone come in and spray for bugs!)

Remember what I said about white folks not being able 2 cook eggs!? Well this is the restaurant that made me make that statement, Over all the food is good but you have to politely let the waitress know so she can inform the cook, that you dont want Too Crunchy, Over brown waffles that taste like toast, served with all yellow rubber eggs with no taste at all, but I must say the pancakes are very Good, and the eggs have improved since now I just order "egg whites" I wonder if it that has something to do with it....

This place is a true diner. Its a seat yourself no nonsense kind of place. The portions are big. They are big enough to share. For example, I ordered the omelette (which was huge) and it came with hashbrowns and pancakes. My girlfriend and I split this and were stuffed after. They have this orange juice machine that freshly squeezes orange juice. There is plenty of street parking and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table.

Service is good.. Food presentation is terrible,, food presentation at my house would look a lot more tastier plus I tried asking to switch an item in my meal for a different one and was told that I couldnt.. Wtf..I go to huckfinns and they give me what I ask for without a hassle never again going there $39 for 2 meals that from the beginning didnt even look appetizing

This is a diner, so its just a straightforward experience. Im still trying to figure out why there arent many businesses or interesting restaurants around 35th and Halsted because it seems like a major intersection. If youre in the area, this is an okay place to go, and the service is good, actually. Its a neighborhood place thats been around for a while.

My girlfriend and I are self proclaimed "weekend regulars" at Bridgeport Diner. Great feel, quick service, lovely waitresses - youll never have an empty coffee cup. I throw gender roles to the wayside and get the Ladys Special #2. The missus pick-to-pick is the JB skillet, best skillet in chicago. They are open from 6am-5pm everyday.

My food didnt taste well. There was some type of plastic in my omelette, I didnt receive the cheese that I ordered on my omelette, and the hot pepper was not hot at all, in fact it seemed to be old. The pancakes were good though, and I had a nice delivery driver. Other than that I did not enjoy my meal. My first and last time.

Really surprised at how good the food was. I wasnt expecting much in terms of quality or proportion, but was very pleased. For $15 I got a waffle, county fried steak and 2 eggs, and it was all very good and very filling. I was also happy to find the inside looks way better than the outside.

This place has a lot of old-time diner charm. Ive seen local TV shows filming scenes here. But honestly the food sucks and is very unhealthy, and not even cheap. They have the worst oatmeal I have ever tasted. The rest is just typical cholesterol-loaded diner fare.

The waitresses are always very nice and attentive. The menu has a good variety without being overwhelming. Ive had several omelettes and a couple of the benedicts, and all of them have been good. Go with the OBrian potatoes (potatoes, onions and peppers)!

My family has made eating here after mass a weekend tradition for over 20 years. Best diner in the area by far. Reasonably priced food for the huge portions that you receive. Cream of chicken on Sundays is the best!
