We used to come here a couple of times a year, but honestly, its been about a year. Im not sure if the management changed or what happened during that time. A couple of years ago I would have called this one of my favorites in the area. After tonight, I will never be returning. First off, the menu changed and got smaller. Some of the dishes I used to get here are no longer on it. So, I ordered the Chicken Parmesan. When ordering, I asked if it was breaded, the waitress said yes. When my food arrived it was not breaded. I complained and she took it back, she came back to the table with the plate and said the cook said he put flour on it. I told her that flour was not breading. She said the cook said it is. So, I tried to salvage my meal by eating it anyways. The chicken (on top of not being breaded) was chewy. So, I took one last stab and tried to at least eat something, so I tried the spaghetti. It was similar to school paste and barely had any sauce. I wanted to leave it, but my wife insisted for the amount we paid for it she was going to take it home and try to eat it. I wish her luck. My son had the kids burger, which was a dried out stale bun with a hamburger patty cooked so dry he went through two apple juices trying to eat it. We eventually told him he didnt have to eat it, and he seemed pretty happy. Hes only four, so he didnt realize how poor of a burger it was. When the waitress came with the check, I thought to myself Ill make one last subtle attempt at giving the restaurant a chance to make this right. So, when I handed the waitress the card I told her that although her service was acceptable, that the food was awful as was the cooks attitude about the breading. I forget exactly what she said, but it wasnt much. More like a shrug and ok, then rang us up with no concessions for the poor meal. Normally I complain with my wallet and just quietly do not go back to places I dont like. This one I wanted to publicly complain about because it was just so awful, and it used to be so much better. Hopefully this review saves other people time and money.

(UPDATE MAY 2017: According to the Daily Herald, THE ORIGINAL OWNERS HAVE OFFICIALLY RETURNED as of this month. This review below was in regards to previous ownership back in October 2016.) I use to love this place and their service. This past year I heard about the restaurant having new ownership, but it wasnt for the better. I have heard personally from some waiters about this, and they voiced their concerns as well. The waiters are great and they are always smiling, but you can tell the issues take a toll on them. I havent returned since I found a mechanical piece INSIDE my bread roll. I like to rip my bread, and I was alarmed to see this. I told my waitress, and she went to tell her manager. That couldve seriously hurt someone...but the manager never came out but told her to offer me a free dessert. The waitress was very apologetic and seemed genuinely concerned. But if the manager doesnt have time to personally apologize and address what couldve been a very serious issue directly, I dont feel they care enough for my business. I dont like to write negative reviews, but it looks like many issues havent been addressed looking at the other reviews on here. Again, this restaurant use to be fantastic, and I use to go there with my family every Sunday. But it is now sadly permanently off our list.

Disgusting ! We have been going to buffalos for years, bringing out of towners & family members. We were there with family and all of a sudden a cockroach ran from under the toast that was being eaten. The person eating the toast screamed and it ran across the table onto other plates of food then onto the wall. I caught it and killed it then gave it to a server that was wondering what was going on. Our waitress took forever and all we wanted to do was leave and hopefully not have any attached to us and bring them home. Finally I went up and spoke with the owner who told me everything was free and that they had exterminators there every week. Every week means its a major problem. Disgusting. Cockroaches carry bacteria that could cause diarrhea and serious health problems, especially if the bacteria and or feces is consumed. There were children & elderly people there who could be effected by this disgusting problem. People can say "oh all restaurants have cockroaches" but not running from under toast and across other plates on the table. Ive never in my life had an experience like that & hope to never again. I dont think Ill be taking people out to eat for a while after that. Ill always wonder & be looking. Its disgusting.

Drive down the street to Continental! Much better service and owner! Everyone who knows me, knows i LOVE a good Greek Diner. I am so turned off by this restaurant. I eat out in a restaurant at least 2xs a week. I stopped in with a friend for some coffee and was promptly told that the owner has a policy that you cannot just come in for coffee. There is a min order policy in place... Per person to make sure that you do not come in for only coffee. Im sorry if your restaurant is almost empty at 7pm on a Saturday night then you should rethink some of your policies. Maybe 8 tables in the place, we were not holding up anyones table. Maybe tonight I only wanted coffee, but that means the next time I could want more. Like dinner with my family. But I will not be back until the next new owner takes over to see if they have better customer service.

I really enjoy coming to eat at Buffalos and have been coming here since I was a young child with my grandparents. I must admit that there are some really young servers who are learning how to waitress, but its like any job; theyll eventually get the hang of it. Most of the older servers have been there for years, are ALWAYS outstanding; they take pride in their job & are on top of their game. The food is good, NO its not a 5-star restaurant, but if you want a diner-style menu and something for breakfast at dinner time, they will make it happen. The soups are delicious and change through-out the week along with their bread basket. Yeah, there are always going to be better places to eat depending on your taste & what you’re in the mood for, but this place is a great stop-in if you want something classic or an insane ice-cream creation.

This restaurant is under new management and does it show! My daughter just graduated high school and I threw a party for 80 people at my home. I frequent the Buffalo and asked the owner, Chris, if he caters. Boy, do they ever cater! Im a picky hostest and had some unusual requests. Chris had no problems with any of my requests. The food was delivered on time and personnally. I had enough food for all my guests and then some. The quality of the food was excellent and the prices were even better. I will suggest the Buffalo next time Im asked about knowing a caterer. This restaurant has changed dramatically for the good since the new management/owners have taken over. BRAVO!!!!
