Store #178 Around 11:40am Saturday October 15th I went up to the customer service counter to buy lottery tickets. There was a woman purchasing a money order. At the time she finished a woman came up. I am quite aware that the woman behind the counter saw me because she was using the register closest to the lottery area. The employee ignored me and waited on the woman in the line. Mind you there was no one in the line when I walked up....the service girl knew I was there. She proceeded to take a return from the second lady and still ignoring me she called up a man who had just come up. IF YOU HAVE A POLICY THAT NO CUSTOMER WILL BE WAITED ON UNLESS STANDING IN LINE THAN YOU NEED TO POST THAT SO THE ORDER CAN BE MAINTAINED. NO ONE WANTS THE CHAOS OF CUSTOMERS OUT OF ORDER. Im sure with the time of my destructive behavior you can determine who the employee was. Im sure shell back up my story of her ignoring me because I was not in line. She has a voice as she called "next person" so she could have explained how she runs the customer service counter. I was insulted and embarrassed but feel that some retraining is in order for her.

Los empleados. De ese lugar no saben aser su trabajo pense que seria buena opción comprar un anillo ahí y tansolo por durar 40 minutos buscando el anillo me acusaron de robo sin ni siquiera tener pruebas la polecia bino amy trabajo a quererme asustar preguntando que les rregresara el anillo como es posible que acusen alas personas solo por que piensan que tu te robaste algo lo k pasa que son racistas pero aseguro no volver ahí

Called for info on a product....was transferred 4 times and twice I would have been better off speaking russian with with these employees. They did not understand a lick of english and transferred me to the Deli when the product I was looking for was in sporting goods. When the only employee that had any idea about the product I wanted received my call....she did not know how to transfer it....She hung up. I have tried many times to give this store a chance but they made Walmart employees look great....and that is hard to do. Ill stick to my local stores and Amazon for anything I need.......this was pathetic and they dont seem to care.

I met Sophie in the garden center at the Plainfield Meijer she was helpful, gracious and kind. I received advice about plants, and a thank you for giving her plants and home. A little chit chat as we are both new to the area...and after I shared that my mom recently passed away, she gave me a hug...the absolute best customer service as she helped me load my plants in the truck curbside. I plan to visit her and take her lunch... 5star employee Meijer scored hiring her! ×0×0 Sophie

I love this store! I never use to go to Meijer but when I moved to the Fox Valley area I started to. They have better prices then in the past and its not as trashed as Walmart. I rather come to this store and its open 24/7. The greeters seem to be there all the time and very friendly. I enjoyed shopping there on Black Friday, the employees were very friendly and it was not a mad house! I would say shop here if u want to have everything at one store!!

Elijah is the slowest cashier I have ever met in my life. He also is just super slow at processing transactions. Stood in line for 40 minutes when we were 2nd in line.. The person in front of us didnt even have a lot of food. Warned another patron about how slow he is and the man told me he knows how slow he is and had him before. He told me he had to wait an hour last time he was in line. I love the store though and everyone else is super nice.

I love this store they have amazing food, produce, and there clothes on clearance is awesome. Ive gotten two many pairs of shoes normally $60-100 bucks for 10-25 dollars at most. Been a loyal customer here for a long time! The clothes on clearance are all very nuce name brands for a fraction of the price puts thrift stores out of buisness plus nicer stuff than walmart. Also the one manager lady with Curly hair is so sweet to me. I love meijers

The main reason we shop here is because its close to home and their prices are good. I think their services are mediocre, though. Its hard to find help when you need it, the check out is always slow and crowded and not that many people are working the registers. And the ones who are arent necessarily the brightest people. Many times when we go, we cant find what we came in looking for and end up going to another store farther away anyway.

The last time went, two days ago. I put two liters ×2 in a plastic bag for self check. Picked up the bag, the bottom broke out. It smashed my foot, instant bruising the top of my toes. An employee looked at me, smirked at another employee and didnt bother to acknowledge that theyre bags should prolly be checked. That could have been glass! But no help, no consideration from the attendees in the area.

I would not even give a star but google makes me. On 4/20/17, I looked at Easter candy, their half price Easter candy was higher than Wal-Mart regular candy. If that is half priced I hate to buy anything here at full price. Thanks Google for putting this stupid icon on my phone so I can tell people how high this place is. Meijer you should thank Google too for adding this feature to our phones.

There is always a greater at the entrance here, and there are always plenty of carts to choose from. The bakery always have plenty of items on the shelf, plus fresh. The checked out, especially the express check out, usually always has at least three workers there so there is not an issue...they are quick to assist.

Large variety of multiple items. Clean and organized. It was a bit pricier than I expected on quite a few items. When checking out, had to wait a long time due to only a handful; if that, of open registers! The highlight was talking to a young female employee who was extremely helpful with a great personality!

Easy to shop , find pretty much everything you need my only concern was the womans bathroom was so dirty and tissue was every wear. I know employees cant always help it thats why Im not blaming them it takes employees and custumers to keep it clean, every were else I went was clean and organized.

This place used to be great. Now you have to double check if any items are out of code. The produce department is disgusting (I used to rave about how great their produce dept was.) The store is dirty and the staff are mostly not nice. The cashiers are the opposite of friendly.

Meijier like several other store have decide to only open 2 lanes and let everyone else stand in self check out which are 4-6 deep. Its all about the bottom line, how much are we making nothing about customer service. Use to love shopping here but will think twice before I go back.
