So lets go back a month. Went into Panera for the first time. Ordered a sourdough cream of chicken and wild rice soup bowl. Sold out of sourdough soup bowls at 5:30 pm. PANERA BREAD WAS BASICALLY OUT OF BREAD. Revisited a few weeks ago and ordered wonton broth bowl. Sold out of wonton broth at 6pm. PANERA BREAD OUT OF SOUP. Sent girlfriend last night for cream of chicken and wild rice in sourdough, that soup is not sold on wednesday. Ordered grilled cheese sandwich and a large mac & cheese. She ordered a sandwich and a small mac & cheese. They had enough for the large mac & cheese but ran out so she did not get the order of small mac and cheese. She had to settle for Seriously? SOLD OUT OF MAC & CHEESE AT 7pm ???? EVERY SOLD OUT ITEM IN THE LAST MONTH HAS BEEN BETWEEN 6-7 PM. THE SOUP AND MAC & CHEESE IS DELIVERED IN POUCHES !!?!??!?! My girlfriend refuses to go back there again because she said it was dirty. Seriously??? Who is managing this store? So we both ate our meals at home and GOT SICK ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. She spent all night in the bathroom and I spent an hour at work on the toilet. WTF ????

Older style Panera Bread, which is quite nice, as it is still quaint, cozy, and relatively clean. The orders are not always 100% accurate, which is slightly confusing seeing as how the bar/counter area is literally NEXT to the preparation area. It does get insanely busy around lunch time, so plan ahead unless you enjoy listlisly standing in line for a good ten minutes. If you have time to spare, perhaps read a book and eat or meet a friend for conversation , it is the perfect little place. It is never too loud to not be able to hear yourself think. The seating is comfortable and you have a variety of seating areas to choose from, whether you prefer the booths, high tops, low tops, or even a cozy little set of seating chairs next to the fire place. This panera is definitely among my favorites and the people are still super friendly and smiley - a lost art in customer service these days. Keep it up McHenry Panera Bread.

By far one of the rudest staffs I have ever encountered. My friend and I stood at the cash wrap for almost 10 minutes while the entire staff carried on about their day. ONE employee (not even looking in our direction) said someone will be with you soon and walked into the back. The man at the cash wrap ignored us and took the persons order who had been behind us the whole time. NOT TO MENTION: the general manager walked by us and a plethora of other customers without even looking up or saying hi. Did you forget WE are giving YOU money? Customer service at this place was absolutely appalling.

No asiago bagels at 3 oclock, when they close at 8, they said they arent making anymore. Terrible bread came with my delicious soup, they forgot the bread at first and when asked about it the girl took her bare hands to rip me a peice off. She had a knife right next to her. The manager was amazing and apologized like she was used to the complaints about her staff. I will never return.

I love panera but for some reason this location they can never get my order right. Lots of mistakes even after asking to order through a manager so even though Panera is my absolute favorite place to eat. This location needs a little help !!! I usually leave alittle frustrated

Excellent panera location. The restaurant is always very clean and the atmosphere is really cozy with a fireplace. I spent so many days here studying and reading for grad school. The service has always been very friendly and the food is consistently tasty!

Its Panera. Just like all the other Panera locations. My only rub with this location is isnt a big enough restaurant for the traffic they get most of the time. And the parking lot sucks! Tough to get into and out of at certain times of the day.
