I would have put zero stars, but sadly that is not an option. I was so excited to try this bakery, as it was new for me. I am having an event, so I popped in to get and try some samples of a variety of different things. Not only was I not greated, but there are no labels or descriptions of what things are. After trying to figure out what the different items might be, I asked the woman at the counter who by the way was very rude and unwelcoming, even after I explained I had never been there before and I was looking for different things for my event. I am a gal with a sweet tooth so I could probably overlook bad customer service. However, even though everything looks very well decorated and pretty, the look of something and the taste of something are two different things. The cake pops were gritty and mushy with no flavor, the brownies are very bland and taste like cardboard, and the eclairs are just so-so. Not worth $36 I paid. There are so many other good bakeries in the area with good customer service and fabulous products, that I will not be back to this bakery. Would have been better off making a box cake.

We went in for a cake tasting for our wedding cake, It was not a pleasant experience. First of all, they brought out the cake samples in one styrofoam plate and fillings in little plastic cups. Complete disregard for presentation. A wedding cake is about the presentation and if this is how they present their cake tasting Im afraid to see how the wedding cake would look. Unfortunately our venue, Villa Olivia, requires this bakery, but completely out of by it that we are rethinking the venue. They also did not bring out water so we could clean our pallets between each tasting. We tried to buy some but they had none. The owner was rude and not helpful.

Best bakery in the area, by far. They have a great selection of individual treats for everyday, and weve ordered trays of mini pastries for a graduation celebration that were fantastic. The mini cream puffs were gone in seconds. (ok, minutes). Were excited to work with them on a cake for another graduation. Yes, sometimes the demeanor of the individuals working there comes off as cold, but at the end of the day they do care and their product is far superior to anything youd find at the big box establishments that saturate this area.

The cake was beautiful. However, didnt taste so great. Also, when I went to pick it up they were just opening. They didnt have it completed, so without even taking her winter jacket off or washing her hands, she took the cake out of the fridge, put the flowers on top, wrote Happy Birthday on top and then brought it out to the counter for another woman to ring me up. They are also very over priced!

We went to Sugar Hills to order a 21st birthday cake for my daughter. Maria was the girl who helped us make our decisions and design the cake. She was so knowledgeable and had excellent ideas. She was wonderful to work with. The cake turned out amazing! It was absolutely gorgeous and tasted delicious! Ive been telling all my friends to go to Sugar Hill! Their pastries look amazing too!

I ordered an Oreo birthday cake from Sugar Hills Bakery for the first time. We were not disappointed -- the Oreo cake was DELICIOUS!!! Wish I could have of had more than one slice, but I left the cake with my son at college -- he sure was popular in the dorm ;) I would definitely go back to this bakery in the future. (My rating is more like a 4.5!)

Was not impressed with the customer service. The girl acted like zomby absolutely no interest to customers. I `ve purchased Black Forest Cake she droped a cherry on the table while trying to put the cake in box picked it up and sticked it back to the cake. Aufull. You dont want that.

I have stopped here to buy cookies for special occasions. Its a cute little shop with lots of cookie options and the cakes they make look delicious. If I ate sweets more often I would stop by more often! So the 3 stars is not a negative at all, just right.

Pear-fect! Ordered the pear cake for my sons 2nd birthday last year and it wowed everyone in the taste and appearance. Thinking of doing the raspberry this year, and hoping it will be every bit as perfect as last years cake. Keep up the good work.

Bought a carrot cupcake with cream cheese frosting and a chocolate cupcake with what I thought was butter cream frosting. The cake was very dry, the frostings sub par. Ive bought tastier at Walmart. Very disappointed.

Amazing custom cakes. They did a gender reveal cake for us and turned out amazing! Their cake pops are also to die for. You must go if you are in the area and have a sweet tooth!

I only eat their Persian macaroons which are amazing! However I cant recommend anything else. I tried a slice of cake and it was dry and crumbly like sand. yuck.
