Meijer is conveniently close to where I live and I like how I can buy anything I need here since they sell almost everything. The produce selection is horrible. The apples are always soft to the touch and the citrus fruits almost always have bruises. The vegetable section is okay I guess but nothing spectacular. I also really dont like some of the regular employees I see here. They are sluggish, lazy, and unwilling to help. I had some hussy at the self checkout accuse me of stealing a cantalope because I didnt bag it. Im sure these jerk offs can monitor what was scanned on their little computer. They also have this Asian lady with a big mole on her face at checkout. She is grumpy as hell and a pain to deal with. One of the front desk guys (tall, dark brown hair, glasses) is a moron. The customer in front of us had bottled water that wouldnt scan so he came over in his Bears jersey and RIPPED OPEN OUR PACK OF BOTTLED WATER to scan it for her. Without even asking. Without even acknowledging us. He just ripped it open. How rude is this? I live in an apartment and having to carry a torn package of bottled water up a flight of stairs was a pain. The prices arent that great. We will now be going to Woodmans instead. Better variety, better prices, and MUCH better employees. Its about 10 minutes farther down Randall but worth it. I will only be going to Meijer on emergencies.

This is a great store the staff is friendly and helpful, the checkout lines are speedy, and to me most importantly the store is clean,neat and orderly unlike some of their competitors i.e. walmart. However i do have two complaints, the selection/ quality has greatly depreciated in the produce section since their opening. I did speak with a manager from the produce section and he said he was aware of the sub par produce and that he was working on getting higher quality produce. Second is the parking lot, the cart pushers do a good job at keeping carts from hitting your car, but sadly it is futile because the parking lot is so god damn bumpy it screws up your car even worse then a cart. So in all it is a good store with good prices, friendly staff, and a clean environment in which to do your shopping

Used to work at this store back when it first opened quit when I moved out of state. Visiting family came here for groceries. Its a shame that what was once a great store has become... I dont have the words to express how terrible a shopping experience this was. Lines over crowded, waited 20 minutes to finally get items on belt to be told Id have to move over to the next line cause the credit card reader was having an unknown problem, what? The next line has a Line backed around the corner? I can check myself out? Excellent... checkout line designed so bag holder is directly in front of a pillar so the bag cant be pulled out without contortions... easier to goto Walmart, wood mans, or butera... just let this place close, the employees obviously no longer care

Their prices are way too high even on the clothes and shoes I dont see the attraction to this store by any me I dont understand except for the 24-hour Factor Why anybody shops here I also think that you guys should know if you putting up reviews that talk about the way people look or their ethnicity as far as the cashier girl that is very hurtful that somebody would say something like that about somebody and really lowers the vibration of the human as a whole People Are People whoever that guy is that wrote that will probably end up paying his comic death somehow meanwhile Meijer sucks

I was hoping to have a better experience than shopping at Walmart. Was not the case. The prices are higher and the checkout experience is the same or worse. Long lines and the staff was not knowledgeable about product locations. This store will be relegated to that of need based/ convenience only. I will not go out of my way to come here, but rather if I happen to need something while passing by.

Tends to have higher quality stuff than Walmart, prices are a bit higher but they have sales frequently. If youd rather avoid the "peoples of walmart" its a legit choice. Wish Meijer was more of a national brand since out here our Walmart is pretty nice, but Ive been to some where wow, yeah, Id rather go just about ANYWHERE else.

Poor management, always out of sale items, many products out of date, under/untrained staff and long wait to check out. I would love to meet the genius that first approved register 12. I would also love to learn why it is open when other registers or available.

Finally have had enough. Meijer may have good prices, but unless you are there day one of the sale they will be out of stock. Its a waist of time stopping at Meijer if I have to go to another store anyways due to the inability to stock shelves.

Weve been going to Meijer since it opened. The staff is great, the store is always clean, very competitively priced, and we always find what we need. The only issue is that the carts need to be replaced. The wheels have seen better days.

One stop shopping for groceries, Pharmacy, household, pets, babies, children, and adults. Clothes, makeup, music, movies, paint, etc.. Meijer has it all at fair prices. Plus, the MPerks program has money saving coupons and rewards!

Their food is typically a pretty good selection but I consistently spend 20-30 minutes waiting in line at the checkout. I honestly have never ever seen such a slow process at a checkout counter.

This really is a nice store, although some of the prices on general merchandise however are VERY high, good prices are about average, prepared food are good, and the FRESH ice cream, is awesome.
