Very racist customer service lady. She had no patience at all and she was yelling at me and my family, all we wanted to do was receive some cash back because we were over charged for some items, even when I counted up the numbers and showed her, she did not listen and was all around a very, pardon my french, "Precious Little *BLEEP*" She in the end did give us back the money but with an attitude and she kept telling us, "I aint dealing with this *bleep*" "Not gonna argue over some money" she threw the money at us and told us to leave. I dont know who she was, she had grey hair and seemed like she was in her late 60s. She was also very rude to the african american workers, she was treaing them like dogs. A vile, racist woman should not be working customer service. Very disappointed in this trip. Please, fire her.

I like Meijer store because the way the store is set up makes you want to shop there, the aisles are wide, people are in store to help you, food display is always being checked and restocked, they have food, clothes, furniture, and everything else inbetween for you to pick up in one location. They have regular lanes and self service lanes, people can help you load your items in your vehicle, they offer store or MasterCard with their logo, speedy customer service area, eye glasses inside store, store is open 24hours and Its just a place with flexibility to meet you whatever time you want to shop whether day or night, with the kids or when they go to bed, its a place where You just get some me time without all of the demands that life brings

Someone used my card at a Meijer location in Oswego, IL. Two purchases - within a minute of each other - each for the exact same amount. For some reason, this did not raise red flags with the staff. The copies of the receipts I got (Thanks to my credit card company) say "Grocery/General Merch." Way to be descriptive. Since the card was apparently swiped (never mind that it is a chip card), my credit card company says I owe the money. Meijer wont give me any additional information on the transaction (or even review the transaction detail) until I file a police report - in a city that is 45 minutes from me. Lousy policy, lousy customer service, way to protect your customers.

Meijer in Oswego is a disappointment. The store is dirty, and their restrooms are filthy. They occasionally have some good deals, but for the most part their prices are considerably higher then other similar stores. Some of their staff seem to really want to provide good customer service. When I do choose to shop at Meijer the continued mess in the bathrooms, the tables by the hotfood side of the deli area, the long wait at the registers it is clear to me that there is a management problem at this Meijer in Oswego. I have not had these problems at other Meijer stores.

Good customer service and decent prices. Unless you go to the deli counter. It is the slowest counter Ive ever been to and the people waiting are about as courteous as Ben Still in Happy Gilmore. While thats not necessarily the counters fault, the amount of time you have to wait to get anything is definitely a factor in the overall scheme of it as it becomes a point of irritation for many which bleeds into being a jerk. Everything else is pretty good and they even have a nice mix and match section for beer afficionados now.

Ive made three attempts at the meijer meat/cheese deli department. Each time only 1 person is working while several others are standing around. In my last attempt, it took me 10 minutes in line with only 2 people in front of me. There was only 1 person working with others, once again, standing around. Im done with their deli. Jewel has a much better deli and Ill go there for my deli meats/cheeses. I am not an employee of Jewel or know anyone personally who works there.

Meijer is your typical large grocery store with a couple of specialties. Their prepared food / deli section are great for the average buyer, while their alcohol selection is similarly great for a novice. You can even find a few atypical niche products here and there such as ginger-lime vinegar or jalapeno cherry concentrate for making mixed drinks. Unless I need a particular item from a farmers market or specialty shop, this is my familys default grocer.

Worst customer service I had ever experienced. Called to see if they had a game console first time the lady said no, my mom called the same time a lady said yes. So really I cannot trust their employees because apparently they cant take the time to actually give an honest answer. Even now my mom is on the phone trying to call the media department but she is kept being put on hold and giving the same thing over and over. Screw this meijer >:(

We are really happy with the customer service at this store. All the employees are helpful and friendly. This opened our eyes to the fact that other choices in the area like Walmart really need to step up their game in the customer service department. Prices are a bit more expensive here which we noticed after Dominicks closed. We really need some other competition in the area so that they can complete on price.

We do most of our Grocery Shopping here. To be honest, its not the best Meijer weve been to. It doesnt seem to be as well stocked or as clean as we were used to when we shopped at a different Meijer before we moved to this area. It also seems to be busy a lot more (which might explain the other criticisms). Might consider trying out Super Walmart (which is really close by) in the future.

Nice store but some employees dont know where things are and dont take the initiative to help you find out. We were given a gift card and the mag strip was bad. This caused a simple purchase to take 30 minutes because all the employees kept trying he same things instead of listening to each other and asking someone for another way to enter the card.

Since moving out here 5 years ago Ive done almost all of my grocery shopping at Meijer stores. The quality/price ratio seems higher than average and you can usually find everything you need, even more obscure items (on my last trip, for example, I picked up flat kale, chutney, and buckwheat groats). The fact that theyre open 24/7 is nice too.

I just bought ground beef on Sunday and when I tried to cook it on Tuesday, it was already expired. $9 dollars wasted plus my time and have to get something else for dinner. I called and they said they will refund my money but they did not apologize for selling meat that is about to expire!

I love Meijer - I switched Pharmacies this year with my BC/BS Plan and I have no issues at all. Customer service when needed is always helpful, great selection of items and the Meijer App for the store and prescriptions are easy and fun to use! Cant say enough good things.

One stop shopping without having to go to Walmart. The bakery isnt what it was back when this was a much smaller chain in MI but the produce is high quality. The selection of organic produce and goods isnt the best if thats what youre into but its improving all the time
