We sat down in a cozy, yet bright and upbeat atmosphere. At first glance, the menu seemed just a touch expensive, but we ordered (with a couple modifications that cost WAY less than we thought!) and the waitress came out with spectacular portions that were delicious! Fresh eggs, hash browns with just the right amount of crunch, the most flavorful corned beef hash I have experienced, and a crepe (instead of pancakes) as long as my forearm stuffed with a whole banana and Nutella and cream cheese sauces! I was in heaven! The waitress even sent us with a to-go cup of what we were drinking. The final bill cost us less than we have spent at IHOP or other chain breakfast places. Stop by and say hi to Diana and the rest of the gang at Lumes! You wont regret it!

I decided to visit Lumes in Algonquin today and it did not disappoint. I was greeted at the door with a friendly smile and escorted to a comfy booth. Mauricio took great care of me and kept my coffee full and made great recommendations. I ordered the veggie and feta omelette and it was excellent, tons of feta and fresh veggies (not canned). Coffee by Philosophy was excellent and well balanced. The pancakes were nice and light. I see many yelpers upset with the pricing, but considering they use local eggs, fresh meats and veggies all premium product you should expect to pay a bit more. I enjoyed the whole experience at Lumes and will defiantly be back when Im in the area.

This is a great restaurant having been opened just a year. My husband and I enjoyed our experience. I was impressed upon our arrival. As we entered we were greeted and given the choice of a booth or table which is not common at other Restuarants that weve been to despite being busy or not. Secondly our waitress was a young very polite and professional lady named Madison. She was attentive and also helpful when we needed help with our food selection as this was our first time at this restaurant. I liked the ambience of the restaurant and overall energy in the place. Our food was delicious, well prepared and great portions. Well be coming back to try other dishes.

This is an excellent restaurant for Breakfast and Lunch!!!! Always greeted when you arrive... Owners use local vendors for almost Farm to Table. Owners and All Staff Members are gracious to each of their customers.... If you have special requests when ordering, they are more than gracious to meet your needs... Food is delivered fast, prompt and always hot. Home made soups are absolutely delicious!!!! Owners also serve Special Dietary Needs such as Gluten Free, Low Sodium, and Vegetarian.... Make this your favorite Breakfast or Lunch Restaurant also.... Definitely give Lumes Pancake House a try and you will see what I mean...

Hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts today! Diana was our server, she was very attentive and proficient to our requests. She was able to give us the history of the Lumes restaurants, and the quality and sources of many of the foods and condiments--many health conscious options on the menu, with health conscious prep in the kitchen. Ive never seen stevia packets before, so I didnt have to cringe when my hubby added sweetener to his coffee! The homemade raspberry jam was wonderful on my pancakes! Hubby had eggs and ham and I had the spartan omelet, both served with delicious, crispy, fresh fried potatoes. Perfect breakfast!

Very very good restaurant Polite and professional waiter the restaurant was busy but he was very attentive to make sure everything was ok I had the 4 mini waffles one was strawberry one blueberry one cinnamon apple one peach It was delicious It was a special on the chalkboard All the specials looked good And every plate that passed by made me want to get that next time I will be back Im new to the area And I can say I found a great place .

My new favorite spot! Such healthy real food served here. Not greasy and made with real eggs!! Real chickens that roamed free on the pasture. Raised on non GMO feed!! So real eggs! Organic is the best for you and this place serves some organic and healthy conscious food options! Yes yes yes!! We need more of this!!! Plus they were super nice and donated to a local preschool fundraiser when we asked!! Yes to healthy happy people!

Good food, didnt have to wait. Took a while to get water. Waitress asked once how we were doing, never received coffee refills. Manager came by asking how things were, however it was very plain and not professional on how he checked in with us. When we left no one said bye and thanked us for coming in. The windows were filthy with hand prints all over. We will try it out again sometime soon to see if theres any change.

Were veterans of the Batavia Lumes, but we were closer to this location and too hungry to wait. This location is fresher and more rooms, and noticeably quieter. The food was just as good as the other location, and my wife reports the coffee was better (maybe better water?) Well probably go to the location closer to our home, but well travel to see our friend George monthly.

The food was nothing special. I had the panani, the chicken had no herbs or taste the waffle Fries where good. The menu was limited, and the prices where high thats if you feel $10.00 for eggs is high, and a cheese burgers $10.00 Lastly, a salad will costs over $10 plus. I think overall its not worth the price. Burnt toast, Around the Clock are still the best around overall.

Staff was attentive. The omlete i had was one of the best Ive ever had. Perfectly filled and cooked. However the pancakes were thin and well below anything Ive ever had. Over all if you call yourself a pancake house ,they have to be lighter and fluffier.

I love this place! The food is high quality and fresh made. Always a delicious meal. One of my favorite things is the Aloha Omelet. The pancakes are always fluffy and yummy!!! A tiny bit more expensive than your average pancake house but totally worth it!

Lumes is a great place for breakfast or lunch. The hostess greets you like you are family, the wait staff are great. The managers check to make sure everything is ok. Price is in line with other restaurants. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

HANDS DOWN MY FAVORITE NEW SPOT!!!!! Actually made with real food and has plaster raised eggs and all organic goodness!!! The owner is super sweet and never had an issue with the waitresses. :))) I will keep coming back for sure!!
