Sorry. Completely unremarkable. Ate here a while back and it was ok. Decided to give it another try. Ordered the Ground Beef, Chicken, Mushroom and RellenoTacos, A Chimichanga and the kids chicken quesadillas. The presentation is really nice. But thats where it ends. All four taco types were bland even with the special drizzles and lime. I even scraped the toppings off of one of the Ground Beef tacos to sample only the beef. No flavor at all...just texture. Then the Chimichanga. Also rather bland and not the least bit crispy. As for the kids...they took a few bites of the quesadillas, expressed their dislike and proceeded to eat the French fries. I LOVE Mexican food. We eat it regularly. We live right across the street so I was sad to cross this place off our list. Sorry.

Great local place. I never have anything but the tacos from here but they are always very good. We just went again last night and the amount of chorizo in one taco would have been enough for two. I also recommend the al pastor tacos. As far as margaritas do the the agave or the jalapeno. They are on opposite ends of the spectrum but both delicious. Well definitely continue to frequent this place.

I am from Minnesota, and a friend brought me here. These people are great and as friendly as they come! I am a Fajitas nut, and if you want some good Fajitas, this is the place to go! The guacamole is out of this world. And lastly, the dessert. OMG, I didnt have any room left, but I had the fried ice cream anyway. Wow! Just wow! Ill be back when Im in town again, for sure! Thanks!! David G.

Its hard to find good Mexican restaurants especially growing up with homemade traditional dishes made by my mother. But salsa street has been the best Mexican food I have had in a restaurant setting. I would put their food on the same level as my mothers. So fresh and full of flavor. Great first experience. I will be bringing everyone I know here!!!

This restaurant breaks the mold with a sleek and toned down atmosphere and excellent food. The food was fresh, not greasy, and unique. The flavors were bold and vibrant. Truly unlike any Mexican restaurant I have ever tried! The rice with saffron and cilantro practically sings and the salsa is to die for! Worth a try, and a new personal favorite!

Well I have say that my highest chefs commanders recommend me the restaurant. I went and all I have to say is omg is a good food and yes is like a difrent taste like any other restaurant in Chicago. Good environment and clean . To be a assistant Chef I have to say my complements to the chef and to staff. I will go back and recommend to all

Food is good!! Iced tea, not bitter, not the kind from a bag. Very tasty green chip salsa. Shrimp tacos w/depth of flavor. Rice n beans so good we ordered extra, the black beans were that tasty. Home made churros hot and hit the spot. We cant wait to go again. Best mexican weve had in the area by far!

Good authentic style tacos...love having outdoor seating! The house margaritas could have definitely been better though...might have needed better sour mix? A Presidente margarita from Chilis is better. Next time Ill just upgrade to the top shelf one like my friend had. Lol

Good food. Not your typical Mexican fare like other places. Definitely an elevated experience. Chips and green salsa are different, but tasty. Wife loves their tacos. Huge variety to choose from. I always get the nachos if you are looking for something not so froo froo.

The atmosphere is ok. The waitress wasnt very friendly, but not rude or anything. Just a flat boring, personality I guess. She was very attentive though. The food was great. I got the taco (steak) platter and really loved it. I wanted 3 more afterwards!

Bland food,. Had the 3 taco platter, Fish tacos tasted like mrs pauls fish filet, nothing "street " here. Dried out tastless shrimp tacos, and the worst chili relleno taco ever. Rice was ok. Beans ok. Many better options in the area.

Awesome food and incredible service. Ordered food for pickup and they delivered it to my car because I had my little one with me, that is going way above and beyond for your customer. Thank you for your great food and service!

Not your basic Mexican restaurant. Delicious salsas. Varieties of tacos you dont usually see on a menu. Service quick and pleasant. Clean establishment. Outdoor patio. Portions are large. We will definitely be going again.

Want some amazing street tacos that wont break the bank? Try Salsa Street. Our favorites are the el pastor & the citrus chicken street tacos, but they are all great! Great service & fabulous food!

Food was excellent. Service was very slow. Beer selection is minimal. No craft beer. Sam Adams is on the menu but they did not have. Margaritas are good but could be a little stronger.

Ive eaten Mexican all over. What this chef is doing is amazing and if it were in downtown Chicago...you would pay twice the price. Try the Mexican Pot-Roast! Margaritas too!

Good food, margaritas, staff. Always friendly we have spent several hours here eating and drinking. Its a little out of the way from where I live but worth the drive.

Every new Mexican joint I try the tacos just to see if its any good. They are delicious and the hot salsa was the best Ive tasted in a long time. Definitely coming back.

Good Tacos with flavor. The Al Pastor tacos with mango were tasty! Good flavored black beans too. My son gobbled down his steak quesadilla too!

One of the best taco places around, they put a gourmet spin on tacos, one of my personal favorites is the mushroom taco and their enchiladas!

NI

Good food, nice staff, just not exceptional. I really enjoyed the beef Taco and disliked the shredded chicken usually the other way around.

The tacos were amazing, and there is a wonderful selection! Even the complimentary chips and salsa were great! Their mango-rita is a must!

OM

They have authentic Mexican tacos and actually play real salsa music. The fried ice cream is great and so is everything Ive tried so far.
