Its hard for me to rate this place with even a star. I was so excited to go here bc their spring rolls are way good; I had the pleasure of trying them at my work recently so I figured if the spring rolls are that fabulous than the food must be just as good. NOPE! I ordered chicken with broccoli (I cant remember the name of the dish) but, I had tried this before at other resturaunts and loved it. However, this resturaunt was terrible. First off, their fried rice was NOT fried rice, it was steamed rice with orange food coloring. Secondly, and I am a chef myself... when the dish came out it was very boring looking and the stench was not just a small weird smell, it was a STENCH. The dish intirely was not tasty at all I hate to say this but, it tasted so bad that after a few bites I had to stop eating it. I was so bummed out because the rolls are so fresh but, this dish was smelly, the chicken was not fresh and it had a very bad before and after taste to it. Too bad because I love thai food and this place is close enough to enjoy once a week but, never will I ever step a foot back into that place. Terrible high price for cheaply made food. :(

More of a Vietnamese-Thai-Chinese fusion place than a pure Vietnamese restaurant. Better than driving all the way across town to Buford on a weeknight for sure. The bean sprouts in the Vietnamese spring rolls were mostly brown and tasted frozen. Thai beef salad pretty bland & mostly red onion. Pho is fairly mediocre, not much veggies, but will do in a pinch. Chicken satay looks fried and tastes different than Im used to. Lo mein is pretty decent, but the noodles are thin. Thai pineapple fried rice advertised as spicy, but actually fairly bland. Pan fried noodles are good. Will come back just because its close and decent hours.

This place is really good -- very much like the Pho I used to get in the San Jose area. The restaurant is clean and the service is great. A waitress is at our table within a minute or two of being seated, and our food is out within 5 minutes. The vegetables are fresh and the Pho portions are large (a medium bowl is more than enough). The only negative is that sometimes the brisket has been tough and gristly (I order the P1). Other than that, no complaints. As for some of the negative reviews, I cant comment on anything other than the Pho, but I personally wouldnt go to a place called Saigon cafe for Thai food.

The Thai part of the menu-- DO NOT TRY IT! It is bland, underwhelming, and not even great. I had Pad Thai with chicken today and it was so watery and the chicken had a weird taste. It wasnt even seasoned and I put it away after one bite. Lost my appetite. Ive had the Masaman curry on other visits and it was very bland. The Vietnamese part is fine though. The pho and appetizers were good. If you wanted to get some pho, go on then. But steer clear of the Thai part of the menu. There are much better places for Thai than this restaurant

im suprised at how many excellent reviews there are for this place. we just tried it for the first time (take out, so the decor/service didnt play in much) and the food was just ok. we ha Bun, Pad Thai and spring rolls. the spring rolls were good, the rest, eh. dont think well be back. Pad Thai is a huge comfort food dish for me and this one was unappetizing. The Bun lacked veggies and the meat wasnt of great quality. not terrible food, just not anything i would look forward to eating again.

Saigon Cafe is a neat little place to grab lunch or dinner. The interior is cozy and the big plastic mango trees that reach to the ceiling are a nice touch. The service is always friendly and attentive. The food itself is so-so. The vietnamese dishes like the pho are simple and delicious, but you can order non-vietnamese dishes like general tsos chicken that are sometimes hit or miss. If something is wrong with your food though, let them know and they will make it right.

4-23-17. This was my first visit and I will say it now it will not be my last. The food was awesome, fresh, and flavorful. I got a combination dinner plate, and was not disappointed. The next thing ill try there will be there fried rice or general tsos chicken. The fried rice that came with my combo plate was really good, the rice had excellent texture and flavor, and the chicken was so good.

Excellent Pho! This is comparable to some of the best Pho restaurants over on Buford Hwy. The wait staff here are great and they remember my order now. It is friendly fast service and great food. By the way - anyone ordering Thai food at a Vietnamese restaurant should not be writing a review. If you want Pad Thai, try going to a Thai restaurant...

We come here once every two weeks and love it. I love the Pad Tai. Its one of the best Ive eaten outside atlanta. Large portions too. My loves the coconut soup and orders it every time. The Cum buc Loc(or something like that) is very tasty. If youre looking for a great Tai food place and dont feel like going into Atlanta this is the place.

We love this place! Varied menu, lots of good things to try. Bubble Teas are yummy, best Pad Thai Ive had in the area. My picky 5-yr old loves it too. Servers are professional and show good teamwork. I even once had a bowl of Pho spilled on me accidentally and the manager was super nice about it, I still visit ~twice a month regardless!

Ive been going to this location for maybe 15 years and the quality hasnt changed. Ive tried everything on the menu but I only ever get the Pho. The service is phenomenal. The entire staff works as a team to ensure all of the tables are covered. Do yourself a favor and go here at least once. Its worth it every time.

Wow so good. We both got the Bun Tom Thit Nuong Cha Gio, a vermicilli noodle salad with pork. Some really unique flavors in there, at least for my Western palate, such as fish sauce and pickled carrots. Somehow fresh and light yet extremely decadent. Also really enjoyed the tapioco Thai iced tea.

I am really impressed with this place and I am a VERY picky eater! Their meat is a nice quality, the Kitchen is clean and tidy and the staff is friendly and nice, we have gone here several times now and we sure hope others follow suit so we can keep this little gem in business! Truly Delicious!

Ive been eating here for 18 years and do not have a negative thing to say! Great food, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere. They specialize in Pho and have a wide selection of Asian cuisines for every taste. A good restaurant and cheaply priced for the quality of food.

So far sooo good! Lived in Woodstock 9 years and had know idea that I had not been to my favorite reatautant yet. Foods delicious & cooked just right. Lots of choices. The food is light but filling and really opens up the pallet. Gotta try it!
