After a single experience here, Im ready to give this place 4 stars. Subsequent visits may even nudge this toward a 5 star review. Pros: The food is quite good. Their variety isnt grand, but most people only get one or two dishes from a place, anyway. Service was quite fast (3 - 4 minutes for my food) and polite. Bathrooms were clean, atmosphere was pleasing. Cons: When paying, they hit you with a tip screen that asks for 15%, 20%, or 25%. Im all about tipping (servers who serve you: refilling your drinks, asking how your food is, removing your plates as you finish), but this was just taking an order at the counter and bringing the food out to the table with the right number. Id like to tip 5% - 10% to be nice, but you already make at least minimum wage (unlike real servers who make $2.13 an hour). 25% for taking my order and delivering it???? Its a good thing Amazon doesnt work like that. I feel like youre trying to steal from real servers. Experience details: I tried out their Parmesan dip with the pita bread and thought it was great, but one of two things needs to happen here: either give me less Parmesan dip or more bread. I had enough spread to lavish on hip-swelling portions onto each bite and still have plenty to take home (no take-out cruets for this, though). I also had an egg, cream cheese, and bacon bagel that was well-prepared. However, I cant say I highly recommend it because the cream cheese was hard to taste. Cream cheese just doesnt cut it against egg and bacon. This is just being picky for the review, though. I and everyone else at my table was quite pleased with their food. Id tell my sister to try this place out.

3.00 for one pita cut in four with hummus and charged me a dollar for another piece my order was already 12 and I gave a nice tip they could have gave me a free piece of pita... I ordered the falafel with the orzo pasta and the pita bread with hummus . The Falafel wrap was okay but lacked flavor needed a better tahini the orzo pasta lacked flavor as well taste like water. The hummus with pita bread which I thought was going to be pretty good since it was House made it actually tastes not old but taste as if they did not season them before they Blended them or put any seasoning to them really. The more that I ate I noticed that it had a lot of citrus like the were trying to save it from going bad. Its a no go for me until proven otherwise.

My team, from ATL, Dallas and NY were looking for a spot to grab dinner near our client/hotel. It was slim pickings - Kafenio proved to be just what we were looking for - incredible food, made fresh to order, great selection, something for everyone. Btw the 4 of us, we ordered the gyro, falafel, Greek salad, baked feta, grape leaves, orzo pasta, a bfast bowl and a brownie and baklava to share. Everything was outstanding. The owner even came out with complimentary lemon bars and extra brownies. We sat outside and ate and drank and talked the night away!

Get a lamb gyro if you want to experience oral bliss. The lamb is so tender, so succulent. A tiny bit salty for my taste. The chips [fries] are wonderful. Theyve got a marvellous herb and spice blend. The spanokopita is excellent. The staff are wonderful and the restaurant is always clean, the atmosphere pleasant, never loud [even when its packed]. I would eat there more often if I could.

We had breakfast here with a friend who had a 3 hour layover at the airport. It was super convenient to the airport and easy to get in and out of. We mostly had omelettes and they were tasty. The only thing I wasnt crazy about was that we had to go back up to the counter to have our coffee refilled but its not that big a deal because its a pretty small place.

Not very good Greek food. Salty gyro meat, terrible Spanakopita. The restaurant had a ketchup bottle on the table with fruit flies on it and when I told the young lady behind the counter, she brought me a fresh bottle, but did not apologize or even remove the bottle.

This is a College Park gem! Breakfast was great. The restaurant is set up nice-- somewhere between coffee shop and cafe. The owner is personable and friendly. They do an interesting chat on their biscuits that is unique in ATL. Omelet and grits were great.

Fun coffee shop with good food options. Nothing fancy here. The location is great and the French fries are a high light. Sadly, no frozen coffee drinks. Still they can make you a Cappuccino and thats always delightful. They have a chessboard as well.

Today I stopped in for breakfast at the café and Im so glad I did. The breakfast biscuit was excellent as well as the service from the hostess and the cook, who served my food. Ill look forward to many, many more visits to my new neighborhood café.

Needed a quick breakfast before flying out, stopped by here on the recommendation of a friend. Im not a big coffee guy (or one at all), but I love a good breakfast and atmosphere. This had a great neighborhood vibe, and the food was excellent.

The cook accused me of drinking Hi-C Pink Lemonade with out paying for it! Whoa! Really? :) To spare you the long dramatic version of my experience there I will just say it was very humiliating. I will never go back there.

Pleasantly surprised by this cute little Greek cafe! I had the gyro salad, and it was fresh and pretty big, couldnt even finish it. Also, prices were reasonable and worth what you get. Overall, great neighborhood joint!

Great addition to the area. Nice food selection with large portions. Owner, John, is great and a typical Greek man....loud and attentive to his business. Hoping hell be able to add Greek coffee to his daily offerings.

Great Greek food the only place I know that makes kifttettas, Greek meat balls, the gyros and gyro salads are incredible. I have never left there hungry. Love me some Greek.

Real nice small Greek cafe. My friend had the salad and I had the gyro. The food came out fast and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The salad looked amazing.
