recently had bad experience. watched the "cook" take raw blood dripping beef tips from a plastic tub to the grill and then without hesitation used the same tongs to place my selection of cooked meat on my plate. This was after he poked all the other already cooked pieces to determine doneness. I continued to my table with my now tainted steak and baked potato to then realize after removing the aluminum from the potato that is was rotten. this was brought to the attention of an employee who did indeed agree it was a bad potato. and then to top it all off the ice cream machine was out-of-order, but that was probably a good thing as by the looks of it I dont think it was cleaned or sanitized in quite some time. I dont believe I will be returning this location.

We stopped by here on our way home from a camping trip/5K run out of town. So glad we did, because all the staff were beyond friendly and very helpful! Being seated took absolutely no time, even on a Sunday..after Church! Buffet was fully stocked & the second one was getting low they immediately refilled it without having to be asked! Our waitress was super nice & helpful, never let our drinks get below halfway full! Not all Golden Corrals are created equal...I have unfortunately had multiple negative experiences at Golden Corrals. Im so glad I didnt let myself past experiences keep me from stopping here! Good food and great service!

I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemies. I came here to enjoy a nice meal with the family. Food was not hot, service was decent, but the food was just disgusting. I was up all night puking my guts out after eating here. Went to the ER and they said I had a food born illness (food poisoning). Last time I came here around 1.5 to 2 years ago I got sick then as well, not food poisoning just throwing up all night. I dont have any allergies to anything, just get sick off of their cheaply made food that is overpriced as hell. Its 35$ for two adults only , I can go to a decent steakhouse for that.

Food is sub par WHEN its available. Cooks are seriously lacking at this location I mean where to began unmashed mashed potatoes white bourbon chicken (suppose to be a brown color) just sitting in brown water pintos not cooked all the way. Fried chicken rarely gets refilled and OMG please get someone that knows the difference between well medium well and rare... Another thing please tell those servers to stop calling people (men) sweetly sweet heart hum or all that other crap that is totally inappropriate to call a customer. Waffle House does that same crap and it needs to come to an end

My family and I went there last Saturday. We chose GC b/c of its endless varities of choices on the menu, online atleast. We got there and noticed half the items it said online were not on the buffett. Anyways my dad ask waitress were the bacon wrapped sirloin was at and she brought the manager over and he was like we aint done that in years. We said it says online for this location and he said its for like Atlanta location and he apologized and that was about it. Winder location is clean and has a small variety of stuff with friendly service.

This Golden Corral has always been the one we went to and it was great. We recently went to snellville Golden Corral because we were in the area and few times. We came back to Winders today and it has really gone downhill. The food was either old or burnt. The rolls were hard as a brick, biscuits were hard as a brick. The food selection is not what it used to be. Needless to say Ill drive the extra 11 miles and go to snellville next time.

This whole new premium buffet for the weekend is ridiculous. I paid 14 dollars for a buffet that had prime rib and butterfly shrimp. The selection of food was not great at all. I can understand wanting to charge more for those items, but I didnt eat any prime rib, shrimp or anything to justify paying 14 dollars for a buffet. Totally disappointed in the golden corral

My husband and I go to Golden Corral in Winder at least once a week. Today we were there and Our waitress was Anita. She did a great job. She always has a smile and comes to check on us to make sure we have everything we need. I think she can read my mind, because when I need tea she shows up before I ask her for it. I think this is the best GC I have ever been to.

Came tonight spent 80.00 for the family. It was all terrible. My daughters boyfriends steak was very raw. It all tasted like it was old food. Will not be going back. Im very embarrassed bc I took my family. The waitress was rude, just Terrible. The table was dirty. Not happy at alllll!!!!!! Wasted my money we didnt even go for seconds......Dont go here!!!!!

Man has golden corral changed over the years. They use to bring Hot plates to your table along with fresh dinner rolls now everything is do it yourself. Im surprised we dont get our own drinks. The food doesnt taste homemade or as my coworker put it "boxed" food. You really changed for the worst golden corral I am highly disappointed.

Stay away unless you like kids handling your food with their hands if you say anything to the staff they dont take it seriously they just laugh it off. Thats how germs spread considering the fact its a buffet the last thing we need are people sticking their filthy hands in the food. We will never go back.

Price had went up. Food was not that great. Selection was poor. Cheese cake tasted horrible, peanut butter cookies tasted like it had freezer burn. Veggies looked old like had been there all day. Lot of spots were empty and it was really bad. Probably will not go back. Service was the only thing good.
