First, the waitress who sat us, sat us like we were an inconvenience. Second, the booths were way too tight. A grown man would have trouble getting in and out of them. Little kids may be able to fit. We had to sit at a table. Everything was so close together. Our waitress was nice, but she was waiting 2 other tables and it took forever to get drinks. Drinks and chip refills were pretty much non existent. When we did get the chips, they were burned and tasted terrible. The salsa tasted like tomato water. When we finally got our meal, our chalupa was a taco, our taco meat had no flavor and it was luke warm like it had been sitting out for a while. Finally, our waitress disappeared for an hour. The manager ended up giving us our check since we didnt know where our waitress was. I dont believe in not tipping, but we almost didnt leave her a tip. PISS POOR SERVICE. DONT GO HERE!

Me and my family have been eating here for 24 years and we LOVE it we have never had any problems with the food or service there are several Mexican restaurants between our home at this restaurant and we have tried some of them and we always end up back here I have read several reviews and was shocked to here some of the things said I guess the best review is the fact that they are still open and in the same spot with the same owner after 24 years we eat here several times a month and we even get take out we are very pleased with the price,the taste of the food,the wonderful service and most of the time you get quick service couldnt ask for more keep up the awesome work

Food is of low to average quality. Management very rude. Ive eaten mexican food from Mexico to California to Texas so believe me this is very so so! La Esperanza in PTC, located in a grocery, has MUCH better food than this joint; AUTHENTIC tacos, beans, etc. Authentic so dont expect fake tacos, like El Ranchero, because they serve fresh ingredients, simple , affordable and politely ! Incidently, when El Ranchero was in Fayetteville we were entertained by a cockaroach crawling up the wall beside us as we dined-yeah, same El Ranchero.

My food was burnt.... When I asked to return my food the lady got an attitude with me and snatched the food from in front of me and Im not sure what she said under her breath but it didnt seem nice. When I got the new plate of food it tasted great but I never saw my server again, I had to go to the desk to pay for my food. I wasnt trying to be rude or inconveant but I dont favor the taste of burnt grilled peppers and chicken. I doubt Id go back but if I do, I wont let her be my server.

HORRIBLE. Three months ago, my first visit, the service was okay but the food was HORRIBLE -- And I told them so. Three months later, my dumb ass tries again.... This time was even more HORRIBLE!! Truth is, from the SERVER, especially, and not to mention the nasty salsa --- kill yourself before you bother wasting your time or money.

Great food. Some of the best fish tacos and pork, beef, chicken tacos weve ever had BUT the waiter provided the absolute worst service weve ever had. First time experience but in his section other people were treated the same. Maybe would give it another try because of the food but just passing through. Helluva first impression...

Very unpleasant staff from the moment you walk in. The food was mediocre and definitely not worth the price. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in the area to have to settle for one where they give you an attitude with any inquiries as if youre asking a dumb question. On top of it all the service is extremely slow.

The service always is pretty bad here....the food is good...if u get fajitas never get shrimp as the shrimps alwys very shrimpy and gross...always...cheese dip is awesome....food comes out quick but dont expect any refills and takes 20 mins to get a check most times

I came in on Monday 2ish the daughter of the owner attended me. She was very nice, great smile made me feel welcome. The service was outstanding and the food was great. I recommend it and i would come again, and again. I place it on my number one list.

Dont waste your time at this establishment. Food is average at best. They should serve pasta with their salsa instead of chips. Tonight was the last straw, something nasty and black in my margarita. Owner is rude! Will never go back again.

The Ranch has been a family favorite of ours for more than 20 years. Food today was wonderful. Fajitas and enchiladas. Service was prompt, friendly. A PTC institution that remains a great value and consistent winner.

they ripped me off. I will never go back even though I went about once a week. They over charged me for my lunch. I put 8.36 on my card, but they charged my bank 16.45. They lost a regular customer.

Yuk. Chips were good but the salsa was SO SALTY. My veggie enchiladas were burnt, and Mom said the chicken in her burrito was watery. Service was okay, but the food was terrible.
