Zero Stars if I could .... Worst experience Ever! To begin we called ahead 2 days in advance to let them know we had a large group of 16. We told them the exact time we would be there at. We showed up about 10 minutes early and they acted like they had no idea. There was no large table set up. I saw on their front hostesses stand a note that had our party name and the number 16 so clearly they should of known. We waited over 30 minutes to be seated, and they were not busy. There was tables available that all they needed to do was turn them so we could all sit together, could of done it ourselves in about 3 minutes. Once we sat down we waited over 15-20 minutes for Chips & Salsa. Some in our party never got water even, and those that did never got one refill. After 30-40 minutes of being seated they finally took our order. One person in our party ordered a pitcher of beer for a few people. Over 20 minutes passed with no beer. Asked the waiter again, and finally brought it. When he brought it he brought, no glasses. Waited over 15 minutes for glasses and the perosn in our party literally went up to the bar to get glasses and they said the waiter would bring them. We waited longer for glasses. They started to bring out food for some after over an hour of ordering!! They didnt even bring everyones food out. They probably brought about 10 of the 16 meals out. Food was very poor at best, no flavor and not very hot. One of the people ordered chicken fajitas and almost threw up and told them he didnt want them. They didnt offer to do anything, just looked at him. Of the 6 that never got their food, after and hour and half since ordering and most of us finishing they decided to leave and go go chikfila next door because they were so hungry. It was terrible. Anyways we went up to the counter to pay as no one brought us a bill. As we were paying at the counter they came out with food for the ones who had left! WHAT A JOKE! And they acted upset with us!!! We were like they left. The whole experience was so bad. Trust me I wouldnt take this much time to write a review this long. Never go here! Dont waste your time!

I am a former employee of this hole.. DO NOT EAT THERE!!! the food hygiene is horrible as they use the same meat for 3 days!!!!!!!!!!!.. the owner of the place is an abusive person with his own employees.. he takes the best tables for him even if it is really slow.. he pays for the hours that he wants but if a server needs to stay more time due to having a table he will refuse to pay for that.. the way that this horrible person named Pedro Oñate is just disrespectful.. he will try to charge you for everything possible without letting the customer knows.. if you think about going to eat there, be prepared to get stomach poisoning as I was able to see his process of keeping food for days.. he will also refuse to change the paper on the basket with chips, wanting to use the same ones for different clients which is disgusting!!!! thats why I lasted a week...

NASTY...My daughter and I got there at around 6pm on a Monday, there were maybe 5-6 tables occupied at the most. We both ordered the Burro Texas and when they arrived, they were both cold, the only hot thing on the plate was the plate itself. The meats (steak, chicken and shrimp) were all tough, the salsa tasted like cheap nasty ketchup and the chips were just getting to the stale side. On top of all that when I went to pay with my $30 in Gift certifcates I had purchased off CincySavers, I was rather rudely informed I could only use $15 per visit. $15 barely covers 1 crappy entree let alone a meal. I first visted his place over a year ago and have noticed a very steady decline in service and quality.

I have never had better service. The gentleman who greeted us, sat us, took our order and served our food.. was amazing. I believe he was running the whole place with a smile on his face. Had 6 other tables and got our order right, on time even checked back with us. The food was so delicious. You have to try the cheese dip and guacamole! Everything was so fresh and their chicken actually had flavor. Complements to the chef and the staff. Great place!

I use to love this place but, it has gone down hill majorly! I wont be going back. Last time I dined in, it was not that great. Then I did a carry out order and that was a nightmare! It was all wrong, tasted terrible, I was overcharged and did I mention it was terrible and GROSS! I havent been back since and I absolutely LOVE good Mexican food. Been going to Acapulco in Fairfield now and never disappointed with them!

The food was okay.... However, when paying your bill, use cash. This is place will add a tip to your credit card receipt without you knowing. I paid for the meal with my credit card.. and tipped in cash... ($5.00) to be exact on a lunch special that was $5.65.... Stealing tips is unexceptable... If I was short the money (tip) they stole, I would not have eaten... Stealing is stealing.... no matter how much!

The food was awful... We ordered vegetarian fajitas and vegetarian quesadillas. Both items came with uncooked pieces of broccoli, cauliflower (large pieces) and carrots. No onions even though they were listed in the menu. When we requested onions, they charged us extra for them! Even though they knew we were not happy with the food they didnt offer to adjust our bill. This place sucks!

We visited for the 1st time tonight and hands down it is the BEST Mexican food we ever had. My fiancé and I highly recommend giving it a try. Its a small family run restaurant and the prices are more than reasonable. The portions are large and the service was wonderful. This is the only Mexican restaurant we will be going to from now on.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant for Mexican "comfort food". The Burro Roquetto (sp?) with pork is my favorite. The pork is deliciously seasoned and very tender. Their margaritas are also very good. Not too strong so a 22 oz is just enough. I have found the staff very friendly as well. We go regularly as we live nearby.

Ive been here a few times now. The food is good each time Ive been in - not great but certainly good - and the servers are nice. There has been only one time that they were inattentive.

The food was great, but the fajitas were so filling that I didnt get to try dessert. Enchiladas trio was tasty. Also, our server Joe was super amazing. Definitely try this place!

Staff was nice, but they overcharged me and it took them nearly twenty minutes to bring out the food. The food is sub par compared to other Mexican type restaurants.

Your typical Tex-Mex fare. What makes Blue Agave special, though, is the service. The family that runs it is incredibly nice and makes you feel at home.
