Food is good its the girls in the front that need WAY BETTER customer service training. I work in customer service so I know when i am being treated very poorly. Walked in nobody said hello, nobody acknowledged me but when they did they just looked at me untill I started talking. Told me my food would be ready in 15 came back after 20mins and i stood there for 10 MORE mins waiting for the girls or maybe ANY of the employees to notice me but to no avail nobody did. I had to walk to the counter and try to grab their attention but they still didnt notice me and NO they were not busy they where in a corner on their phones. FINALLY I got one of the girls attention and I asked is my food ready, gave her my ticket n she said o its this bag in front of you and she walked away. Also a big plus my food was cold,This place is horrible

I like Don Pedros. While its definitely not the best Mexican food Ive ever had, its damn good Mexican food for Georgia. Anyplace that has Mexican carrots and jalapenos on the salsa bar is my #1 spot. I literary did a happy dance when I saw the salsa bar. Oh and guess what Taco Veloz, Don Pedro doesnt charge you for to go salsa. Yeah, take note. Ive been here on two occasions and both times I felt like I was at home. The food is hot, fresh, seasoned, and cooked to order. The recipes are authentic and the food is just pretty damn good. Granted it takes trial and error to order in English, but even then the atmosphere (bootleg CD men and Hispanics galore) make feel feel like Im back at home. Yup, Im a fan.

This place has really gone to Hell in a hand basket. Not only has the quality of food gone way down, the portion sizes have gone down and the prices have gone way up; THREE STRIKES AND YOU”RE OUT DON PEDROS! Obviously, the audience today reflects this decline as fewer and fewer people are patronizing the place (it used to be standing room only to wait for a table at lunch). Oh and get this, they dont even flinch when charging $1.09 extra for a dollop of sour cream! Even my Mexican bud thinks it has gone down the toilet (I’m paraphrasing, he wasn’t that polite!). We will not be going back there again, ever!

The food is great! But the service is HORRIBLE! we were order 70 something. We stood there sitting in a table while everyone the got there after us got there food.We even stood there while we saw the person and his family that got there after us leave. They where in order 99 from what I recall.I when I got so feed up and told them that I want it a refund but to charge my drinks. When the CLEANING lady told us that was impossible because the order was done ..not to mention they were in order 0 again. I was really upset we sat there for a whole hour !

I was referred by a colleague and was really looking forward to some good Mexican tacos. I waited about 25 minutes for my takeout and I understand the waiting but it truly was so disappointing when I get back to work and go to take a bite and see fat all over ... every piece of beef had fat if not all fat! Dont people care what they are serving? So, I ate one corn tortilla because I was so hungry but I lost my appetite every time I thought of that fat! yuck!!! Bringing my own tacos to work next time :(

This is the only place to get real modern mexican cuisine in the area. It is a no frills place with mismatched tables and chairs and where you order at the counter. When you taste the authentic simplicity of the delicious food you will not care what the restaurant looks like. The steak tacos, at 99 cents a piece, are an absolute must; the best I have ever had. If you frequent El "Whatever-O" restaurants, you need to come here to taste real mexican food.

Food selection is great, plenty of parking, everything is ready in a timely manner even during rushes. Only gripe really is related to dine in only, and thats the fact that it can get really hot since their ac isnt cranked like in other restaurants. The food is always pretty good, but their asada fries are really worth writing home about. Try their aguas frescas! Pineapple currently reigns supreme

In the mind of this one single customer this is the best mexican, actually best restraunt I have ever eaten at. I always get the enchiladas and chips and love the price, amazing salsas, and horchata, something I discovered while eating here. The drinks are all the same price so you get to try out all the sweet tangy drinks after a day of hard work. I wouldnt change a thing, its so good!

ISSUE AT the Buford Hwy location the service was awful. I ask to speak with the person on charge because the meat was hard and over cooked and we waited over 40 minutes for our food...They said that the cook was on charge and he was busy. The cashier eho took my order did not care, sent and email to the corporate office and no one responded.

There are places I would rave about and there are places that are decent that serves a purpose. Don Pedro falls into the 2nd category for me. While Don Pedros is one of my go-to Mexican restaurants and I will frequent it on multiple occasions for good, quick Mexican food, it isnt the end all be all of its genre.

The food is great! ALWAYS tasty, fresh & affordable. This Don Pedro also maintains a 100 health inspection score which is superb! However, the customer service isnt good. I understand there might be a slight language barrier, but an unpleasant attitude translates the same in any language.

Food is alright. Its like the authentic thing. The atmosphere could make you feel crowded. This place lets you get as many salsas as youd like for takeout or dining in unlike other places. Cashiers arent very friendly, however food is great. I wouldnt recommended the pork taco though.

Terrible service. Charged $4.50 for 2 fried eggs! You have to purchase chips for $1.99 also. I ordered a burrito and asked for queso on top which normally there is a small charge but they charged $2.99 like a small order. Food was good but not worth the price and terrible service.

Had 4 Tacos 2 Lengua and 2 Pastor. Pretty good. They slightly fry the tortillas and it adds a nice crisp to the tacos. Unfortunately they also placed a little Salsa Rojo on my Tacos. I only like Salsa Verde. Will go back today to try their burritos.
