Unfortunately for Newnan, this seems to be the only independent steakhouse in the vicinity, but you actually have a better experience at Longhorn. Our waiter didnt know the difference between a strip and a ribeye. The steak that was served to us was overcooked and very poor quality. Our waiter actually told us he was scared to tell the cook to prepare another one and had to get the GM(!) to do it for him. This seemed to annoy the GM who was busy sitting at the bar watching TV. The entire staff seemed to be better suited for a fast food establishment. Oh and the sides were very bland and uninteresting. It looks nice on the outside, but after eating here you just feel bad for Newnan. If this place was "inside the perimeter" it wouldnt last two months.

Sat night with family in town we made reservations for 8:15 PM .. by 8:30 we had made wine, and appetizer selections. By 8:45 we had made dinner selections .. At 9:30 PM after seeing other tables having received their entrees I asked when could we expect to be served. I was told the manager would be out and was told they had a backup in the kitchen .. While I can appreciate issues at a restaurant I cannot deal with 1.5 hours to be served. We told them we were leaving and to bring the check. I will say that they agreed to "comp" our check but I will not be back. There are way too many restaurants in the area to have to deal with "kitchen issues" and have an opportunity to enjoy an evening out with family.

We showed up for our reservation. Unnecessary! We were seated by the door in the front window on display. After the dirty menu was placed on my table. Our appetizer arrived with a side of mustard. Not the romeulade the described on the the menu. I began to read of vegetarian cows denied basic medical care , humaily slaughtered, for human carnivorous consumption. Lol . Have we not had enough of this Bs? You can not charge$37 for a steak simply because you have created a bullshit description on a nasty piece of paper. Georgia needs a truth in menu act. My wife and I spent over 20 years managing , owning , and working every aspect of the service industry . This place needs some Jesus. Amen

I am increasingly disappointed in the service and the food. When they were in the old location the food was fantastic and so was the service. Its seems that since moving to the new larger location they can not seem to keep it together with the quality of both the food and service. We were there on New Years Eve, it was very expensive and we felt rushed the entire time, the next course was out before we could get the the one before done...this is also the same as the Sunday Brunch, sorry Cellar, great atmosphere but need some major work on the quality of food and service....

I was so disappointed, my husband went out of town and I wanted to take my son to the Cellar, he had never been there. We showed up at 5:45 and we were told that we could not eat in the dining room because there were so many reservations for six, we had to eat in the "bay" it was cold and the table rocked. The service was excellent, the food ok but not the experience I wanted to give my son. As we left at seven we looked into the dining area and there were eight tables open. We could have eaten in there, I will not go back because of the way we were treated by the hostesses.

Went there for Fathers day. Got there at 11:30 and it wasnt too busy, but the service was very slow. The food was served family style and was not that good and way over priced. After we were seated, they had a musician come in and he set up right next to our table. It made it very difficult to talk and even the hostess had to go outside to answer the phone. I said something about the noise to my waitress and she did say something to the the hostess, but not much changed. Im not sure that I would go back. I would rather go to Houstons for the same amount of money.

Rolls/butter were just OK . . . could be better. Salad was excellent. Fried green tomatoes were fair . . . could take a lesson from another restaurant. I like them best when theres a tomato-based sauce and goat cheese like the fried green tomatoes at South City Kitchen in Midtown. For my entree, I ordered shrimp and grits and it was overcooked~ grits were dry and shrimp were tough. Sauce was tasteless. Poor overall impression of food but service was excellent. This restaurant can do better with food preparation. I will probably return because the ambience is nice.

Nice venue. Went during the day to the outdoor area and there was a live band. Waitress was friendly, food was great and surprisingly inexpensive. Husband and I arent drinkers though so its not like we had craft beers or similarly priced drinks on our bill, so I dont know how much more that would cost you. Ladies restroom is clean and tastefully decorated, but as a warning one of the stalls has a latch that didnt work properly, so just use the other one.

My fiance and I chose the cellar for date night last night. It was GREAT, the staff was friendly and helpful. We made reservations for 730 and when we got there they had a corner booth reserved for us. The food was awesome. My fiance had the fish and chips which was cooked to perfection tasted amazing. I ordered the aged filet. The cellar cooked my steak to exactly what I ordered a perfect medium. One of the top 3 steaks Ive ever had.

Got the wild game sausage, which was great. The kangaroo burger, which was outstanding. And the wild boar burger, which was better the last time I had it here. Spent $60 including tip with no drinks for two people which is fine considering I had a delicious kangaroo burger. They also have elk and lamb burgers, and a full menu besides. We got there right when they opened. Service was great, but we were the only ones there to start.

If the weather is nice, if the temperature is to your liking, this is a cool venue. Maybe it was the finals or the fact that it was Wednesday, but the crowd was light. Which was fine for me because I was there for the desert and the band. Both of which were delicious! The band with Toni, Neal and Rick were playing a tasty variety of jazz and blues and the desert was chocolate delite.

The cellar was a complete disappointment. We waiting for over an hour for our food. The soup was too salty. The chicken sliders were made from frozen chicken patties. The salad I ordered had bacon on it and it tasted like bacon bits and not fresh at all. Its like they dont even try. Its not worth the price. Overall, its over rated. The only saving point was the live music in my opinion.

Great atmosphere, but lousy, overpriced food. I love the new location, the service was good if somewhat slow, and the live music (jazz singer) was excellent. I ordered a burger; the meat was dry and the fries were limp and so salty I almost couldnt eat them. I could have gotten that at a fast food place for a fraction of the price. I may go back for cocktails, but not for food.
