Service was marginal. The waitress messed up drink orders and didnt even bring my food out. There were only 4 of us so Im not sure how I could have been forgotten. The only person that was helpful was the hostess. The manager was alerted to all of the issues we were having and is either incompetent or hoping the business fails... Absolutely awful! Please take heed, any server can have a bad night but when the management doesnt even care that everything is going wrong after being alerted to the problem, its clearly an issue up the chain. if that wasnt bad enough, I was able to witness management berate the hostess for alerting him to the problem, saying that if we wanted something done about the problems, we should have talked to him personally. Not the way to run a successful business.

The best Mexican restaurant in the area by far. Their strengths are the house specials like La Lancha, Abel Special, Chicken Soup (trust me... The soup is incredible, Ive never, ever had better.. Just be sure to tell them if you want it to be spicy or not), Super Burrito is a great value even after they raised the price. Youll see a big bay leaf in their shredded chicken or shredded beef sometimes, thats how you know they are doing it right. If you are wanting more food than you can eat try the "El Combo", you might need to loosen your belt! Jose, Carlos, Oscar and the rest of the team and wait staff there are friendly and helpful. I regularly see tables flipped up at the end of the night for thorough cleaning and the bathrooms are always clean.

We have gone to this restaurant since it has opened. The have always had great service and food...until recently. We have gone 2 times in 2 months and have had horrible service every time. Today was my husbands birthday and we were going to try ONE more time. Horrible! Staff does not care whether their customers are happy. We asked for cheese dip...never got it, extra napkins....never got them, extra chips and salsa....never got it, my husband had to get up go find a waiter, that was not ours, to get me another drink. What saddens me is that this is my hometown Mexican restaurant that we have always gone to. But not anymore.

I dont know why this place has only a 3.9. The service, staff and food are always excellent. This is the closest to authentic hispanic cuisine you will find in the area of Polk and Paulding counties. Everything we have tried on the menu is excellent, you get huge portions of food, and the prices are very competitive. We tried the "Mexican restaurant" across the street (across Hwy 278) and there is no comparison except to say THAT restaurants food is bland and "fast food"-like, whereas Tequila has scrumptious and flavor-some meals.

After living in San Diego my whole life I was in shock that there were no "good" mexican places around. When Tequila opend in Rockmart I was so happy! I found Tequila to be the closest thing to "Real Mexican" I can get in GA. Overall, I love it! And my daughter has a great time when we eat in.

The food is exquisite, the service and atmosphere are very impressive! Prices are reasonable and you are greeted by the owners. I recommend this restaurant over the one across the street. I know about Mexican restaurants and this is one you must try when in the area. Felicidades! AG/J/B/N/E

I absolutely love this restaurant !!! And Fernando, Jose, and oscar are hands down the BEST servers here and they are our favorites!! The nachos are so good and filling. They are very clean with their materials and I recommend this resturaunt to anyone in Rockmart !!

Great food and large portions. I have searched for good authentic Mexican food since leaving CA and found it at Tequila Mexican Restaurant. I look forward to going back and trying other items. Hands down best in Rockmart..try it and you will agree.

I had the beef nachos and it tastes like dog food. It was absolutely disgusting! Service was good. We went had watched the DJ and people sing. But the food was horrible. El nopal is so much better.

This is the best Mexican food restaurant around. Their salsa is some of the best we have had and the Texas fajitas are outstanding. The staff are friendly and give great service.
