I patronage this location a lot; the last couple times being there, something was wrong with my order or food. No matter how many times Ive told my server the bread was hard and I wanted some softer bread...he bought out more and hotter bread butt the ends were hard. I stopped asking. Not to mentioned, when they bring my salad out, they usually ask if I want grated cheese or fresh pepper and grate the cheese right in front of me. They bought out some cheese in a bowl and did not ask ifI want pepper. Needless to say, it was a special day and my son wanted to go their as a reward for his team winning the GICAA championship and the food was less than average. The money I shed out, I was hoping for the service I used to receive when I first patronage this location, instead of hearing the hostesses at the entry talking about you cant be nice to them. Thats why Im not because they take advantage of it. If more thought was put into my food instead of employees having conflict, maybe the bread wouldnt been stale...My toppings would have been placed on my salad properly...My childrens food would have come out hot instead of slightly warm... My server would have placed my drinks in glasses instead of cups because the glasses were not clean said the server and the place cleaner!

Hadnt been here since 2013. They have really stepped it up! I dined inside and had the Buy One Take One special that had been advertised on television. I had the cheese ravioli with marinara. Came with a choice of soup or salad...and of course, breadsticks. Everything was well cooked & prepared; I enjoyed my meal. I also had the Pina Colada...BEST Pina Colada I have EVER had. It sort of had like a milkshake taste to it. I am seriously going back just for that Pina Colada. Totally inexpensive. The Buy One Take one was only 12.99 (thats two meals!) and the Pina Colada, $7.19. Server was Kayla S. She was really nice and helpful. Let me not forget the machine they have called Ziosk. EVERY RESTAURANT SHOULD HAVE ZIOSK! Its like a tablet: it has games, which would be great to keep your kids occupied while waiting for their meals; You can pay for your meal on there if you are using a card; it even gives you the option to split the check and send the receipt to your email; and at the end, you can complete a survey of your experience. I had a great experience! Wish I wouldve taken pictures.

Took 1 hour to finally get a table. After ordering our food we still did not have it after sitting there for 1 1/2 hours. Went in search of a manager. He said he would go to the kitchen to find out what was going on with our food. When he came to our table 15 minutes later our food was being served. There was a piece of cooked plastic wrap sitting right on top of my food. The manager told us that the food is precooked wrapped in plastic wrap. A piece of the plastic wrap had been dropped on it before heating up. I was shocked to hear that the food I was about to pay $17 a plate for was frozen and heated up. It only takes 7 seconds to heat it up. I could have stayed home and had a frozen Stouffers meal for a better experience. Although the comped our food Ill never waste my time there again.

I had the worst experience today at the Jonesboro Rd location!! Me and my husband were seated at the very back of the restaurant where a large party was celebrating a birthday and adjacent to them was another large party with small children (crying children) upon sitting at the booth there was the worst smell, like it had been wiped with a sour/mildew wash cloth. I asked to be moved to a booth by the bar, the waiter said they were being cleaned and would be ready in 3 minutes , which never came. So when we moved ourselves to the area requested, we noted there were several empty tables and boothes so we sat and no one ever even looked our way , we finally left. Such bad customer service, very disappointing! Would not recommend this place at all.

I called in an order at 8:32 and was told my order of chicken with angel hair pasta and salad would be ready in 1/2 an hour. Great! Well its now 9:35 and Im leaving the restaurant. Not once did the To Go Server acknowledge me to ask if I already ordered or needed to order. I was told by the hostess 3 times that "she" the To Go Server was working on my order. When she finally came out she had 3 family orders with time stamps of 9:30 and 9:35 along with mine that said 9:05. No greeting just called my name, rattled off my order, and bagged it up. No apology for the delay, can I get you anything else, or have a good night. POOR customer service. The worst I have EVER had.

I wish I didnt have to click a star. This restaurant needs a new manager, something. Its horrible! My waitress was great and so sweet! But the food was horrible , my husband and I ordered the same dish and it was burning hot I mean microwaved hot. The salad tasted like it was out. The bread was the best thing. Oh and I ordered a strawberry dolcini and it was FROZEN. I ofcourse told the waitress and she Brought me a tiramisu. My husband and I did not eat our food we took it home to go. Oh and the utensils were dirty. This place either needs new management or close it down. I didnt want to pay for my bill but I felt so bad for our waitress.

I tried to make reservations for my daughters 20th birthday on a Saturday night for 16 people. They said they would not take my reservations. I asked her if it was correct that the wait is often 1 1/2 hours on Saturday night for two people. She said that was right. I told her we would go someplace else and she seemed happy with that. I will vote with my feet and never take my parties here again. Logans Roadhouse nearby was more than glad to take my reservation. Olive Gardens loss is someone elses gain! I love the food and service at Olive Garden, but they need to figure out how to better serve the customers needs.

My husband and I had given up on Olive Garden based on a terrible previous experience at the Fayetteville location. We decided to give it one last try by coming to the Mcdonough location. This was one of the best restaurant experiences that we have had in a long time. Chris was our server and he was the ULTIMATE!! From start to finish he was upbeat, friendly, respectable, and had wonderful customer service skills. We were so impressed that we immediately addressed the Manager whom was just as friendly and thankful. We will definitely be returning to this location ONLY and definitely asking for Chris.

The food was just not worth what we paid for it. Our server was average and the restaurant wasnt busy, but our food still took a while and once it arrived it was very obvious that it had sat under a heat lamp for a long while. By the time we got everyrhing I had lost my appetite. Good thing too because our food was rubbery (if that makes sense) from sitting under the heat. Ive been burned by this place before, I dont think well be going back. Try the soup salad and breadsticks if you want olive garden bad enough. The lunch special is the best deal they have.
