Worst restaurant service in Alpharetta. We like the food here but they get it wrong, every time. Drive through or inside, it doesnt matter. Weve eaten here 20 times between the 5 of us and they always screw it up. Just went last night and the lady at the window was rude because we had to repeat our order way too many times, it took more than 15 minutes for a burger and a quesadilla, and when we finally got them they were both wrong. When you ask them about it, they dont care. Its obvious the owners and the management just dont do their jobs. Another time the order was so wrong it must have been another customers food. When I asked for what I ordered and paid for, the idiot teenagers working in the kitchen could be seen talking to each other and using their cell phones. When I complained and asked for a manager, one of them pretended to be the manager and just stood there with the dumbest look Ive ever seen on someones face. Nothing was done. Weve heard other people complain too. Just look at the other reviews that say the same things. Even though its right down the road we are not going to be going there any more. Its not worth the hassle. You should avoid it too.

My complaint is not with the food or service , but with the lack of choice that the customer has. I myself am not a fan of French fries. I went today to order my usual quick combo #1 only to find out that they changed the menu. Instead of 2 tacos, a quesadilla, and a drink it is now french fries in place of the quesadilla. I asked if I could still get the quesadilla instead of fries and was told no. They proceeded to tell me I could order a number 6 instead which comes with 1 taco a quesadilla, french fries and a drink. I just had to laugh and told them I would go somewhere else. Instead of changing the menu why not just give the option of French or quesadilla with every combo? Sounds a whole lot easier. As of now I wont be back unless Im just really desperate for a damn taco and dont have time to go to taco bell. I hope management and or owner reads this. Just a stupid decision turned me away and probably others since Im sure Im not the only one who would rather not have fries with there tacos

Overall, my entire experience took thirty-one minutes. The first several were spent in the drive-thru with two cars ahead of me. No ones order was being taken, and we were finally told that we needed to come inside to order. There were two people ahead of me when I went inside, and it still took over five minutes for my order to be taken: two burritos and a churro. It was another fifteen minutes before they called my order. When I got my order, there was only one burrito. It took another five minutes for them to make my second one, presumably because more than one of them was preparing food/drink for themselves because it was almost the end of their shift. The staff was utterly apathetic, with no sense of time, though not outwardly rude in any other way. Not particularly friendly, though, either. I would not have bothered after the wait at the drive-thru, except that it was a request from a West coast family member. The third star is only because the food was good and the facility clean.

I love Del Taco. So it breaks my heart to say this but the Milton location is one of the very worst in the chain. Today in the drive thru I received: the wrong food, the wrong drink and the wrong change--this is after successive attempts to fix each mistake, and after I repeated my order at the window three times. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated instance. I used to visit the drive thru about twice a week and I think something was wrong with my order 50% of the time. I stayed away for a month and gave them another chance today. No dice. One additional observation: the trouble seems to occur mostly on weekends and nights. I do not blame the counter-people. This falls squarely in the lap of management. There seems to be a training issue at this location. Please take a look at what youre doing and fix it so this DT can be great. I want you to succeed! If you choose the drive-thru, be sure to check your order before you leave. On multiple visits, I have ordered and paid for extra cheese. Not only have I not received what I paid for, but there seems to be even less than what should be included on a regular order. I understand that cheese is one of the more expensive ingredients, but if a customer pays extra, they should get what they paid for!! I shouldnt have to go inside and watch my food being made to ensure that my order is completed as requested. I love Del Taco and was very excited when they opened in Milton/Alpharetta, but this location has come up short far too often. My call to Del Taco customer service has gone unanswered.

I love their food! But (and you knew it was coming), we went by late to eat at about 9:50 and they had already closed the dining room. It was to close at 10 and we had wanted to eat inside. Went to the window & placed the order. It was taken correctly but took them 20 minutes to get it to us. The manager included two desert tacitos and assured me the order was correct. It wasnt... My burrito came out wrong and with the wrong sauce. It was to be a deluxe & I asked TJ the manager if it was and again he assured me it was the deluxe. He said to come back and get 2 free tacos just mentioning his name. But, it will be a while till we try them again.

Being that Im an employee at this Del Taco I do know we work our butts off to push out hot and good tasting food.... And for the comment about sitting in the driver thru it does not be us as the employees it be you as the customers holding you up because you order the whole menu or dont have your money ready when you get to the window and you have already been told what the price was at the box.... Or you drive off or you add more stuff at the window so it takes longer.... So to speed up your wait time know what you want when your in drive thru and have your money ready .... Thats all for now.... Oh P.S. I do love their chicken

I just had an amazing experience at this location. I realized that I forgot my wallet after ordering in the drive through and only had $15 cash on me. They worked with me to remove items to get the total below $15 and they did it with a great attitude and a smile. The manager and the workers stayed calm even with a full line behind me. The employees were young also, probably new in the working world, but had better attitudes than some veterans I have seen even though it was late night around 10:15 pm. Definitely deserve a raise.

Del Taco came up big for me today!!! I had to run an emergency errand to pick up some food for a church service and they took my order of 125 tacos and got it done as quickly as possible and the teamwork I saw was phenomenal. They had an excellent manager leading the order and he also asked if I wanted anything to drink. He also made sure I didnt need any sauces and made sure the taco count was spot on! Im very impressed and there were lots of happy students!
