Taking into account that traffic usually sucks around here, I didnt mind the 50min. it took for our food to get here. The delivery guy was nice. I ordered online so I cant say for the rest of the service. My rating is really just based on the food. Why am I paying $2 for a tiny cup of salt water and two soggy, mushy wontons (wonton soup) with no meat in them? Like this isnt your average salty, this is extreme salty. I got the Mongolian beef dinner and the meat tasted like it just soaked in sugar water for days before it was boiled in it. It didnt even have a meat flavor to it and didnt have much sauce on it to say that the sauce would have been the problem! It was swarming in onions and it didnt taste like that either. It came with "plain fried rice"...yea plain would accurately describe it. White rice tastes better than this, or maybe my taste buds are burnt from all the salt and sugar? The portion sizes for the dinners were great, but I just wish that the flavor wasnt so sub par. Our favorite Chinese spot back home had the same prices (in a more expensive area) and the food was unquestionably amazing; like everything was sprinkled with fairy dust. And the wait time for our normally large order only took them 15 minutes. God I miss it.

Entrée Lunch Meal at a Chinese Takeout usually range within $4.95 to $7.85(NJ & NY takeout prices) ... This place is over priced @ $9.85... Nevertheless, for some reason the shrimp smells really displeasing (what is going on with shrimp these days(in General) anyways...? .. No more Shrimp for me) ... & The Chicken was really tender & over cook(even the chicken wasnt eatable) ... Their customer services is a whole other story for some reason they just keep forgetting things like (Chopsticks, Soy sauce & Hot pepper.. No duck sauce! ) Was really looking forward to being a loyal customers... Will check you guys out once you improve on your food quality (wouldnt mind the $ as much, if the food is great) At the moment... I highly wouldnt recommend this place to eat... Your better off picking up a few packs of Shin Ramyun Noodle Soup @ your local Walmart, then spice it up along with some eggs, shrimp/chicken!

I order Chinese food all the time, not always the same place but always the same food; Crab Rangoon, fried dumplings, Teriaki beef sticks. this place is the first that actually fried the dumplings but by the time they got to my house they were soggy but flavorful. same with the Crab Rangoon, though they were a good size it did not have a good meat to cream cheese ratio and tasted kind of blah. The beef sticks were ok, a good flavor and tender. This is the first time I ordered from China star, to be fair I have yet to find good rangoon, the delivery took forever! but the guy was nice and it was the dinner rush so its forgivable. I would order from the same place, but prolly not the same thing.

Worst experience ever! Im usually very understanding but after many disappointing experience at this place I finally had it and decide to do something about it! Will never order from them again! They didnt deliver my order at all yesterday when call to inquire bout it they lied saying its on the way but never did! What kind of service is that? Their food is not that great compare to other Chinese restaurants only order from them because of delivery service. However after many horrible experiences with their delivery service Ive had it!! Keep up with horrible service you will be out of business!!

My boyfriend and I wanted something other than pizza last night, so we decided to order chinese takeout. This place is 15 minutes from my house, but we ordered at 7pm and the food did not arrive until after 8:15. We ordered the dinner options for general tsos chicken and sesame chicken, and an additional order of chicken fried rice. While my chicken was good, his did not look like general tsos chicken at all. The chicken was hot, but the rice was lukewarm. If the wait time had been shorter I might order from this place again, but for 30-something bucks, this was not worth it.

Over the past year this place has just become terrible. My last order was General Tsaos chicken and Eggdrop soup. My General Tsao had maybe 8 pieces of chicken in it and my Eggdrop soup was BROWN, like someone had poured the grease trap in it. Ive never seen it that color. One sip was enough to confirm it was done incorrectly.It had pieces of carrot in it, like they had just poured another random soup in it to fill my order up. My springrolls were also cold. Also it takes and hour for a less than 10 min drive. Try China Kitchen, it seems much better

IM NEVER ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN.. Orders my food at 11:30am she told me it would take 45 minutes to an hour i said cool meanin my food should have been there 12:30 at the latest ..the delivery driver pulls up at 1:40 and after i refused to pay they argued me down that they were sitting outside waiting fo me dor 10 minutes witch was a lie even if it was tru my food still took 2 hrs to come an on top of eveeything they forgot my drink

This is a great little place. It is a bit hidden (turn in at the storage place and go to the end) but finding it is wth the minimal effort. This place has really good food and fast service. The lunch prices are crazy cheap for what you get. $5 for a full plate with fried rice, spring roll, entree, and you even get soup. (The fried rice sucks, order white instead, everything else rocks.)

Every time I have ordered from this company, they always try to add on an additional fee. One time they claimed the delivery fee went up to $5.00; PLUS I had to have a $13 minimum order. The next time they told me that I had to have a $20 min order, AND that the $5.00 delivery fee would still be charged. Their food is JUST OKAY, but definitely not worth paying those additional fees.

So disappointed at their service! Keep it up then you will be out of business!! never will I order from this place ever again!!! Their delivery service is ridiculous! Always took over an hr! Worst when you call to inquire about your order they lied saying its on the way then another hr pass never came! Their food is not that great compare to other Chinese restaurants!

Gotta stick up for my peeps here... I have been ordering from China Star for 7 years and never had a problem. Delivery time can be long during peak days and hours but they are straight to business and quote accurately. Food is good quality Chinese, they repeat the order before submitting. Never had a wrong order delivered, no complaints

Ordered food to go last night (feb 19) but the one taking order and releasing foods has a very unhygienic and nasty habit (scratching his head with a very nasty fingernails). I usually like this place but now having doubts. Dont know why it suddenly became a GHETTO Chinese restaurant. Its not the ethnicity

Great food and great people! Only complaint I have is that on their website there is a feature for future ordering... I placed my order at 4pm for 6pm delivery and they delivered at 445pm!!!! Im glad I was home to be able to answer the door! Other than its great food, great people and worth it!
