Bad service, but the manager saved it. Our waitress was pretty disappointing. I came to the Farragut Longhorn to celebrate a 6th anniversary with my boyfriend and a nice steak. The waitress was nice, and she was trying, but started the experience off by knowing next to nothing about their available draft and bottled beers. She told us that it was happy hour and all drafts were $3. Sounds great. Boyfriend asks if Newcastle is on draft and if not asked how much the bottles are. She says shes not sure but will get a list and come back with prices. He says thanks and if Newcastle is on draft since its happy hour and only $3 hell go ahead and take that. She comes back with no beer list or prices and a bottle, not draft, of Newcastle. We ask how much the bottle is and she has no idea, only asks is thats ok? No, but oh well. I still want a beer for $3 so I order off the draft menu, she leaves only to come back a few moments later to tell me happy hour isnt actually going on today and theyre regular price... -_- . No plates to eat our bread on, never brings any even after asking. Asked for a side of dressing for my salad, the whole side of the cup was covered in dressing. She never even put in our appetizer order after 25+ minutes, had to just cancel it. Boyfriend asked for a water, she even came back by the table later saying "and Ill be right back with that water", the water came basically by the end of the meal. When the bill came, the appetizer we never got was still on it, had to get it removed. HOWEVER Jay, the manager, stopped by our table to ask how our experience was. We told him it was ok. When he asked details because he could tell the experience wasnt great, we told him the food was wonderful WHICH IT WAS. I had a rare filet which was perfectly cooked and seasoned with creamed spinach which was delicious. Boyfriend had the ribeye also delicious and perfectly cooked. The service however we just sort of hinted was sub par (its hard to tell someones superior that they did a bad job..) he understood immediately without making us be explicit about it. He apologized, asked about our reason for coming and after a little chat sent us home with some pie -with a number 6 iced on it for our 6th anniversary, what a detail!- and a gift certificate for a future visit. He totally saved the day and made it a good experience where it would have been a bad probably never return kind of experience.

My husband and i eat at longhorn at least one night a week. We usually go to the one on kingston pike. We decided to change it up tonight and go to this location. Food was good as always but we had the worse customer service ever. She told us after waiting a few min she would be with us shortly, as she was just talking to her other tables. Which is fine dont get me wrong but I am a prior waitress and you should at least get drink orders for people who have their menus still. She didnt deliver our food, cool i understand there are runners. But we waited at least 10 min for her just to ask if our food was fine. By that time my husband was almost done with his and mine was fold. So when I got my sinple side item i had to eat my steak and potatoes cold. She also doesnt know that when a drink gets half empty to ask if we would like more. We drank everything ,pushed the cups to the end of the table (which our plates from bread and salad were still stacked at the end), and even then she didnt get the clue. Both times we had to ask for drinks. The only time she asked ,which was for my husband, was after we paid and i had one bite left on my plate. What a joke on customer service. I wont put her name on here but do yourself a favor and just go to kingston pike.

This is the first time Ive been to longhorn. We were visiting from out of town however my in laws are from Knoxville and we frequently visit. I was first turned off by the fact that we arrived at 3:30ish on a wednesday afternoon. There was only about 4 other parties in the restaurant however they were already staffed for the dinner service. There was 5 of us and so I asked for a large booth instead the hostess sat us at a table right in front of the kitchen and there was no one serving the large both 20ft away in our direction...uhm what happened to customer service? Im sure it wouldnt be hard to have someone serve us a couple tables away. The food was good however even with ALL the staff readily and available walking AROUND us constantly with no one else in the restaurant our drinks were not refilled and our appetizer (one order of fried tomatoes) came right before our dinner. We almost returned it since we already had our salads and bread by the time it came. The waitress looked annoyed when she asked if we needed anything else and I asked for dressing??? Id try this place again but in another city with better customer service.

Wish zero stars was an option. My wife and I ate here today for my birthday. The service was slow..very slow. It took fifteen minutes to get water and another 15 to 20 to order. The cheese curds were burnt and dripping in excess grease. They decided my wife didnt need tomatoes on her salad at random. Then, our $20 steaks were mixed up. She got the rare and I got cooked. They were different cuts so we couldnt just swap. My wife told the waitress who said the manager would come over. She told us that twice before we left without ever seeing him. We didnt want anything for free but when you pay that much for slow service and a really messed up order an apology would be nice.

Ive eaten at Longhorn Steakhouses in Kansas, Missouri, and now Tennessee. I can say without reservation that the Tennessee steakhouse is the best of the bunch. Not only was the food up to the usual Longhorn standard (very good), the staff made it an exemplary experience. On two separate nights I was served by Heather C., Taylor H., and Anna, and all three were excellent examples of service, efficiency, and friendliness. If youre in the Knoxville area I definitely recommend this location.

This was our 3rd visit to the Turkey Creek location. It has been consistently good but tonight the service was FANTASTIC! Matthew was our server and it was hands down the BEST service I have had in the last 10 years! I even told his manager how happy we were with our dinner but especially with Matthew. The steaks and salads were really good. I would definitely recommend this place. Ask for Matts section. I dont think you will be disappointed.

Yeah... Not coming back... My husband and I got gift cards from a friend. We were super excited. The host staff was great, however the rest of the service wasnt great. Steaks were bland, shrimp was bland, mashed potatoes were bland. Everything was heavily under-seasoned. Disappointed for sure. Pricing was great, but the food was not worth $50. We wont be coming back- would honestly rather grill at home or go to Chophouse or Outback
