My standards for this place werent high, even at the view parking lot. Needless to say, I was blown away once I stepped inside and walked through the vestibule. Once you enter, the place has a nightclub atmosphere.... Theres load music, people mingling around the bar, large screens projecting music videos. It was not the type of restaurant and dinner experience I had in mind. But Im not complaining. The wait was reasonable considering the flood of people who were dining. During my wait, I kept patience thanks to the Korean Pop entertainment. It was a culture shock moment. I wouldve enjoyed my wait much more had the bar not been so dry. The alcohol menu is very limited! I was disappointed, even more, when I found theyre slushies pairings! It is odd to know the bar has slushies, especially considering this is a BBQ joint! My drink of choice with steak is alcohol, not a slushie! Cleanliness isnt impeccable, but I wasnt horrified and at least sat comfortably. The servers were fantastic and for what its worth, attractive. The teamwork is authentic along with the service. My waiter didnt have an issue with answering our questions, he guided us well, replenished our servings without our request; he kindly inserted himself to spruce me and my partners meal. I commend the efforts and every tip. Theyre a transparent, hip, and diverse bunch! Now the food, nom! It was like heaven in my mouth! The leaf salad (by the way could use more dressing) and potato salad exceeded my expectations. The meats we chose were brisket (everyones recommendation) and pork. It came with sauces (maybe 4) and a small side of veggies to grill. The veggies were mostly for flavor infusion. We ate within 10 minutes of sitting. Surprisingly, the stove top cooks fast! Watch not to overcook or burn the meat. I love my meat well-done and thanks to the fast cooker, some of the meat was too done and tasted burnt. Dont hesitate to ask the server to change the plate you cook on. It burns after each cook and reusing the same plate may ruin the experience. I was impressed and loved the energy and food! Ill return with a big appetite.

Me and my family from out of state attended Iron Age for dinner on 5/26/17 with a 6pm reservation time. Once we were seated I asked for a high chair for my 1 year old daughter. This simple request took 15 mins and was only completed after asking 3 different people for assistance (hosts and servers). When one of the team members initially approached the table to request/demand our order, a member from our party asked for another menu, as this was our first time. The gentleman then made it his point to rudely notify us that 2 menus are all thats normally provided to each table. Why not just get an additional menu instead of making such an uncomfortable and demeaning statement? Once we finally put in our orders and the food started coming out, at a major surprise, our fire continued to cut out. This had to be the biggest disappointment of the entire night as we had 2 different groups on 2 separate eating courses. It was such a desater that I even asked a team member to show me how the fire worked so I could attempt to keep our side of the table current with the other side. The team member told me to cut the fan down before starting the fire, then cut it back up to high. This continued to fail as I believe that the fan, on high, was blowing out the fire. Each time the fire shut off, it took 5-10 mins to get a team member to look at it. Several team members tried to keep it on so much as one even went to get a manager to assist. To no surprise, even the manager couldnt make it to where the fire would stay on consistently. This happened from start to finish on our 2.5 hour dining session. We all came to Iron Age in hopes to celebrate a special occasion and instead only have negative things to say about our experience there. If we could do it all over, Iron Age would not be in the consideration for restaurants to attend. Unfortunately, not even the good food quality would cause me to recommend this restaurant to anyone else.

Had a reservation for 9 people ...me and one friend showed up at 10:45, we stood at the wait line to be seated people trying to avoid eye contact ..weird. Then after 10 minutes finally i called one of them, the one with the ipad he seem to be the host. I told him i had a reservation and my friends already in it took him probably about 5 minutes to look for it in the ipad to look for the table location but couldnt find it so we walk around the restaurant but he suddenly just ran off and disappear.... so me and my friend just kept looking and finally found our group.. Sat there for a good 5 minutes noone came so i looked for help. When someone came this guy actually told us last call was at 11 ( the only restaurant to have last call 1 hour before closing time ) and that we can only get 3 more dishes.. first of all the dish was probably half the size of it usually was few years back and we can only get 3 of them for $25. Wow ! I had explain to him how does it fair for the 2 people just showed up and pay $25 to share 3 small dish of food. He finally agreed to give 5 total...... so i settled for 5 . When he came with the food he also brought the check.. so we paid right away cause we understand it was already 30 minutes before closing. We gave cash and gonna leave the tip on the table but he said the money is not enough because its not included the 20% gratuity.....and the bill was not the final bill ( pretty shady ) haha ok we asked him why dont you just bring the whole bill with the gratuity in it....when he was back i ask for more hotsauce but i get a bucket bunch of sauces.... so much for 20% SERVICE CHARGE . I work in a restaurant and i get how tip works but never have i seen a restaurant that charge 20% . normally its 18%. should have never came here

This was my first time going to "Korean bbq" and there outside said Korean steak house . We were joining a party for a birthday and I will never be back . First the waiters are so rude and so not helpful he never asked what we wanted to drink just slammed down waters and proceeded to say have you decided on your meats yet . Then he would pop back And take the tongs out of my friends hand to cook the meat which was never cooked all the way through . I had a small bowl of rice and four tiny pieces of undercooked chicken. My husband didnt eat or drink anything . When we went to check out and I told them that the lady said well did you tell your server he wasnt eating . I told her he wasnt even at the table half the time . She called out server to the register and he said he thought he saw him eat a piece of chicken along with saying his chopsticks were used , which they werent and with how poorly the table was set you wouldnt be able to tell whose plate was whose. I told them I wasnt paying for two people when all he did was sit at the table . Its 28.00 a person when you add gratuity. She proceeded to say next time you have to tell them if your not eating because we cant monitor . It took me and half the people I was with telling her that my husband never ate for her to only charge me for one person. This was the worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant and I have worked in food service a long time . I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone . Their employees need to learn customer service and manners .
